“Very nice establishment!! We have always walked by, wondering what those great smells were a part of, now we know, met some friends there who were regulars and the food was delicious. Service was great, never had to ask for a refill of water or wine.”
“If you are looking for a healthy options this is the place to go. The customer service is superb and they really know their customers needs. Will answer any questions you may have. And will also give suggestions if you aren’t sure what you want.Dietary restrictions: You can always tell them if you have any restrictions.Kid-friendliness: They have kid friendly products that kids will love.”
“Great food, nice staff, and a great place to watch sports. I had the torta which was beyond amazing. Everyone at my table thoroughly enjoyed what the ordered. I will definitely be coming back.”
“I went in with high expectations and left underwhelmed. Everything was good, but not great. I would eat here again... but I was not blown away and although Columbus is lacking when it comes to great Italian restaurants, I do think there are better options.”
“Stumbled across this place by accident and saved it on my maps to go back! Great food, plenty of sports and stuff to watch, and the folks there were super friendly.”
“I have wanted to stop in for a while and am glad I did.... If you are looking for a great local spot for a reasonably priced breakfast sammy and coffee, look no further. Located just outside Grandview Heights, this place is very charming and has great service. Everything is made fresh. Biscuits were delicious and the sammy was satisfying. I got the egg, cheese, and sausage on a regular biscuit and really enjoyed it. We also got the special of the day with a jalapeño biscuit. It was very good and left you with a little zing. They also serve Stauf's coffee which I feel is one of the best in the city. Cute little area in the shop for eating or you can eat outside in a nice area. They even have a fire pit. I am sure you will be happy if you give them a try.”
“Great local sports bar. Food is very good and prices are reasonable. The fact that you can watch your kids play at the park across the street while you finish your meal on the patio really puts this place over the top.Parking: Plenty of on street parking on 1st Ave and several parking spots in front of the restaurant as well.Kid-friendliness: Good options on the kids menu plus right across from a great park. Easy to see your kids play at the park while you are on the patio of the restaurant.”
“Tequila, mezcal and bourbon? Well, you are off to a good start already! Nice lineup of tacos. Plastic chairs really take away from the comfort and look. Are you shooting for a hip Grandview experience or a neighborhood dive? Agave and Rye seems to have one foot in each camp... and it doesn't seem to feel like it's completely put together yet. Give it time, maybe.”
“A great location. Indoor seating is adequate, and supplemented by some outdoor seats as well. Parking is plentiful, which isn't common for the area. I didn't try any of their chocolate, but the coffee itself was great; some of the best I've had in almost half a decade of living in Ohio. It almost had me feeling like I was in Seattle again.”
“What an experience!I asked Colin to put together a great evening for a party of 8 foodies to celebrate my wife's birthday. Colin took care of everything with minimal input from me. Levi served us excellent cocktails at the bar upon arrival, after which we hung out on the patio sofas along Grandview Ave. Dinner was served on the patio at our request, which was a creative procession of delicious courses prepared by Chefs Maria and Colin, and served by the whole team with a personal and easy going feel. We were invited to mingle everywhere, and so were hanging out with other diners, and even back in the kitchen at the end of the night! This was an excellent special event for our occasion, and while we are already planning our next event with Aubergine, we are also going to make it a regular stop for us going forward. Easily one of our favorites in Columbus!Vegetarian options: We had fresh, well designed veggie dishes throughout the night, even though we didn't specify vegetarian. The menu is customized for each party, so all you need to do is provide input and you will get the menu you want, even different menus for the same party.Dietary restrictions: The menu is entirely customizable, which is a big benefit of the restaurant. They even managed to create a new dessert day-of for a member of our party with an egg sensitivity. It took 8 rounds of trial and error; this should tell you how well taken care of you will be here.Wheelchair accessibility: The entire facility is ground level, with curb cutouts very close by the door. Restrooms seemed to have enough space for maneuvering a chair, though we did not have the need.”
“Fast and friendly service. Clean environment. It's a bit cold, so I wouldn't plan to work from here in the winter months without a coat. We enjoy the coffee here. They have plain coffee and creative drinks. Additionally, their are pastry available.”
“1st time ordering at this location. Front door parking is nice for those of us with physical limitatiins, easy in and out. Associates were very nice, deep dish pizza was ”
“Despite the other negative comments about this location being bad, I wanted to share that my experience today was good. It was lunch hour and there were only a few people visibly working in the front. The line started to get extremely long, but when I got up to the front, the employee helping me was still polite, calm, and attentive. Thank you for providing a great experience!”
“Great sandwiches served up quick right in the middle of downtown. It's a go-to for lunch at work and the guys behind the counter are super nice. Seems like they know at least every other person ordering by name!”
“Delightful experience at Comune during our stay in Columbus. Wanted something a bit fancy for a date night meal before a show. This restaurant is exactly what we had in mind. The dishes offered are unique and contain very fresh ingredients. Its obvious the staff care about the customers and whether or not you're enjoying your stay and the meal. Highly recommend trying a NA cocktail. The chilled glasses were a bonus!”
“Went to Qamaria Yemeni for tea and snacks after hearing some buzz. Coffee was spicy and different, but just okay. Honeycomb sweet and food were good. Overall, might try again. Good for a quick Coffee/Tea.”
“I dined at Agni last night. From the moment we walked in the door we were encompassed in hospitality. Our waiter went above and beyond to make us comfortable and describe the components of each course. I absolutely loved the tasting menu and the surprises along the way. This was one of the best dining experiences I’ve had and worth every penny. I did the vegetarian course and my companions did the main tasting menu. I felt like I was tasting complex flavor combinations that just intensified with each bite. Highly recommend going for your own special occasions.”
“Parable transcends Columbus, we are lucky to have it. Far and away the purest single origin in the dontown area. Best atmosphere and baked goods too. They nail so many things here.”
“Mjomii has a calming atmosphere with very friendly staff and a great selection of deserts. We had the mango milk which was perfectly balanced, the mochi butter tarts which are chewy sweet/savory, and 10 macarons to try the different flavors. Mjomii balances flavor well, not too overpowering, like their name “subtle and enticing””
“Jeff Ruby's Steakhouse never disappoints. This time our family ordered steaks. Next time it will be the sushi. Everything is flown in fresh for the raw bar daily. Anthony our waiter was outstanding. Service is top shelf at this restaurant. We can't wait to go back.”
“josiah is the man, i had an awesome first experience. definitely will be coming back. best burgers day and night, and really affordable. would give more stars if possible”
“We have a tradition of going out for Indian food for Easter dinner but it got cut off during COVID. This year was such a wonderful return to a lovely tradition. The vegetarians and omnivores in our family are both happy—we got tandoori fish, saag paneer, Navratan Korma, chicken saag, and tandoori shrimp with a naan basket and the vegetarian appetizer platter. Every bite was better than the last.TLDR: Excellent food, eat here now.Vegetarian options: I love going to places where they don’t think it’s unusual to forego meat. 10/10 recommend!”
“My parents told me this place was new so we gave it a try. We ordered chicken tikka and chicken vidaloo and got the sampler appetizer. My husband got his vindaloo mildly spicy and said it was just enough to make him sweat. My Tikka (not masala) tasted like a warm hug. It was perfect. Can't wait to go back!!”
“Hailie was great! This is my second time coming for the happy hour specials, love the salad portions, perfect with an app! Very clean and everyone is very nice and quick.”
“Wonderful food. Fast service. They were knowledgeable about their menu and brought out everything we asked. Gave us tea and dessert too.Vegetarian options: Lentil soup and sidesKid-friendliness: High chairsWheelchair accessibility: No steps and wide bathroom stall”
“Visited for the 1st time today. The appetizers were excellent and the moussaka was out of this world. Our bartender, Julia, was amazing and every cocktail was extremely well made. The espresso martini in particular. I will definitely be back!”
“This was my 2nd time visit. Special occasion. 75th birthday. Called ahead to have a bottle of champagne chilling at the table upon our arrival and to please have a table in a corner for the five of us elderly hard hearing folks. The manager and staff were Great! My new favorite restaurant.”
“Finally something that taste like home! My son was ready to turn around and get another sandwich we've been struggling to find our palate here. Service was impeccable they were so personal. Will definitely be back!”
“GREAT fries!! It's all vegan; I had the chicken parm sandwich. It wasn't too bad. I'm not vegan, but I went with my daughter. The fries and pepperoni rolls are her favorite. Brought them home for my husband and didn't tell him they were vegan. He never knew the difference!”
“All I can say is thank you lion cubs. I literally became husband of the year this week after bringing home some lion cubs cookies for my wife who was not having a fun time. She literally said flowers are great and meaningful but lion cubs cookies really show you love me and know what I want. Thank you lion cubs cookies for making sure I won husband of the year and to all other husbands a little psa get your girl lion cubs on her time of the month you’ll thank me later!”
