“This is the best coffee place that my family and I have ever been to. We love it so much that we will go out of our way early in the morning just to get it. The people are great! The coffee is out of this world! My favorite is the dropkick. The scones are handmade, and I believe they use creams or milk from a local farm for their drinks. Also, the drink sizes are larger than any other coffee place that we have been to!”

And the bread is what made it, perfect crunch but not flaky and so soft on the inside. Perfect amount of meat and melty cheese and toppings. I am already trying to make my husband change our return route home so that we can drive past Larry’s pizza and subs when they are open I would love to try some of their other items to see if they use the same dough etc.. but even if they don’t.. “Recently moved to the area from West Coast and had company visiting in from out of town, so we were frantically looking for somewhere unique to take them. We absolutely hit the jackpot with The Cocktail Bar! Great and clean atmosphere, amazing staff who took the time to explain the unique drinks we ordered as they made them. Dottie, who was our mixologist, was so friendly and fun to order from and explained step by step every dribk we ordered. It was the best old-fashion I have ever had. This is definitely a place to visit, and prices were reasonable. We will definitely always stop here whenever we have friends and family visiting.”

“This Subway is nice if you prefer a place that is a little out of the way and because of this, it has a quiet atmosphere. The last time I ate here it seemed they could use some help getting the floor plan set (where customers sit). There were some booths and some tables but basically just along the walls while there was a large open space in the center. Also, little to no decoration, at least nothing I took notice of. A little effort in those areas would take this establishment to the next level.Of course, the food was great. Even better because they will follow explicit instructions when you are customizing your order. They have never said no to any wacky request or odd order I wanted items put on and toasted. Even multiple toastings are fine. You really can get EXACTLY what you want here.Parking: You can pull off the road and right up to the front of the store to park. You will be perpendicular to the road. There is only 1 row.”

“McHappys is super expensive but well worth it. Make sure you get a pepperoni roll while there which is Napolis and have them to warm it up if you are on the road. Differences between McHappys and JRs donut castle: McHappys is more Expensive, McHappys pipe a dollop of different colored frosting on top of the filled donuts so you know what flavor you are about to sink your teeth into which is nice and they are more doughy with a thicker consistency than JRs. Both establishments have a drive thru which is super convenient. McHappys has a drive thru window with glass separating you and the worker which was super convenient in Covid times. It makes it difficult to get dozens of donuts though because they have to put it up against the window then move it over to your side so I am always afraid they will get icing on the lid but they usually put tissue paper between the donuts and the lid and it works out fine. I have purchased dozens of donuts for 2 different places that I have worked and they both preferred McHappys over JR but I'm conflicted.”

“[[Wed.14.Feb.2024]]Wife and I had Valentine Lunch, this will be the first time at the New location in the Division Street Plaza since they moved from the Pike Street Southgate Plaza due more n likely to Camden Clark Hospital / WVU Medicine buying out the Southgate Plaza area.Food was Good, it was Cooked, Prepared and Plated correctly, waiter was very Accommodating and Helpful.The new location is very spacious and with lots of Natural Lighting from the large Plaza Windows, it was Clean with Great Flow around seating areas.There was some minor construction still going on at that time, but really did not interfere with customers.I think they well do well at this location due a major grocery store Krogers is located same plaza.Parking: Huge Parking Lot”

“This is my favorite pizza place in the area. The crusty is crunchy yet chewy. The sauce is a great tomato taste, not acidic. The cheese tastes just right. The buffet is a great deal. The spaghetti and sauce are perfect. The owners son is a friendly man willing to answer any question. Very helpful.”
