Staff was friendly and I don't fault them, but it's a bad location overlooking a sewage treatment plant and a run down area. The food has little to no seasoning, even the items listed as spicy were very bland. Outside seating is decorated with bags of dead yellowjackets and open trashcans of discarded food. The signature lighthouse of the area appears to have had better days as this restaurant surely has as well.
I have been coming here for years every time I come home to Ohio. This place used to be a great place that was bustling with business and had great food. When I came this time, it was like a ghost town, and the food was just okay. Service was not nearly the same as in the past. I had the lake Erie perch dinner, which is the main reason for my visit, and it just wasn't as good as prior visits. Too much heavier breading. It was good but not nearly as good as before. This place has always had good food, it's a shame they are closing next month! Get in there now and try the Pasta Bayou before its too late!!! I'll be going back one last time for sure.
