Sidelines IV - Maumee Reviews
I've been to Sidelines Maumee about 20 times going back to the old location at the corner of Holland & Dussel (Luxe laser now). My favorites are the ribs, fowl balls and chicken bacon ranch pizza. This trip I tried the roast beef and gravy sandwich with mashed potatoes. Unfortunately, it was not great. The beef and bread were okay, but the gravy had an off taste. Was it medicinal or plastic-y? Great, friendly staff, delicious, well- prepared food, and a small variety of drafts. We played the Sporcle trivia. My wife, who does not like trivia, said that she actually had fun as she was glad we played. We may not have won any of the prizes, but we had a good time.

Stopped in to meet some buddies for a couple of beverages and something to nibble on. Had a local craft beer by earnest brewery (crunchy hippy) and ordered potato skins and a quesadilla food and beverages were good atmosphere is nice, service was slow. Took the bartender 10 minutes to notice me. The bar was not busy.
