Oh my!!! Dinner at The Swire Inn in Middletown OH is an absolute delight! I got the beef pot roast and John got fish and chips but ordered onion rings instead of fries. This food is the best pub-type food we've had since we visited England! The pot roast is tender and flavorful with baby carrots that are still crunchy. The mashed potatoes were originally real potatoes - they're lumpy and so good! I had to have a taste of John's onion rings because they looked soooo good, and wow!...read full review

Everything was great but very SLOW! It was about an hour and a half wait for our dinner. I understand it was Valentine's Day & busy but I would think this would be accounted for when scheduling. Our waitress was very sweet. Food was good.

The service was AMAZING!!! Food was pretty good. If you are thinking of visiting the Swire Inn please go and try it. The restaurant was very clean. I had the Chicken,Bacon, Ranch Flatbread with a cauliflower crust, it was good. I had leftovers and ate it for lunch the next day and it was good.
