“This little jewel of New Richmond deserves your attention when visiting or passing through. After a bout ten visits here I must say this is one of the most charming places I have found in coffee shops for quite a while. Locally created and owned, the staff are competent and especially just kind people. The food turned out from the kitchen is always fresh, has a good presentation and is is well made and creative. I have found theirSumatran roast to be a wonderful whole bean to take home for my grinder and press. I recommend this spot if your feeling the desire for a breakfast sandwich with coffee e or latte. Bon appetite!”

“We were looking for some protein before our hike in the nature preserve. SO happy we happened upon Pig Candy BBQ ? We had the brisket sandwich and pulled pork waffle. Absolutely delicious, we ended up ordering another sandwich to go. The employees were also so sweet, what a joy to eat here!”

“On a whim, we decided to try this place because we were craving Indian cuisine. Omigosh, it was some of the best and most flavorful food we've tried in a long time...and I've definitely had my share from living overseas! The Chicken Tikka Masala was melt-in-your-mouth delicious with a mild creamy tomato-buttery sauce. The Samosas were like a meal themselves, and came with 3 mouth-watering sauces. The Naan was a must with our order and the Mango Lassi was the perfect blend of refreshing sweetness! We were thoroughly impressed with the flavors and the friendly staff here. You can certainly count on us to come back very soon!”

“First time here, stopped in for lunch on a whim. Me server was fantastic! Opted for a classic cheeseburger served with seasoned waffle fries. Very good. Cheeseburger was really good. Waffle fries were slightly overcooked for me but still yummy. Sweat tea was Devine! Would definitely stop back on for another visit soon.”

“The food is epic. It definitely over delivers. The wings are fantastic, brined, rubbed, smoked and I am assuming fried prior to serving. The flavor is fantastic, even with the tame (by heat) sauces. These are easily on par with Knock Back Nats wings and not as spicy, so they probably appeal to many more.I also had the Smoked and Fried Bologna Sandwich! Epic! Tater tots are really good, and the kids' chicken and waffles were also excellent. We will be back for sure. I suggest you try this place out if you hadn't before. Being inside Alexandria Brewing Company is also a bonus as they have some pretty solid beers as well.Ok we went back on a Saturday. And they definitely need to step up their game in the kitchen. They took orders with buzzers. Why they don't take all orders as they come is beyond me. wouldn't you want to know what's incoming? I don't know. The food was great the first time. We've been waiting 2 hours the 2nd time. Perhaps come on a weeknight and expect slow service.? Not a great 2nd experience.”

“Delicious Indian food! I can’t believe this amazing gem has been open for seven years and it’s the first time my kids and I are trying it. It’s honestly one of the best Indian restaurants I’ve tried, and I’ve eaten Indian food all around the country. We ordered, which you can see in this photo, chicken, biryani, garlic naan, paneer Makani, and chicken tikka masala. This is our new go to Indian restaurant.”

“Our 1st experience with poochie's place was 10 yrs ago I only know it was 10 yrs ago bc me and my husband had breakfast here the day after we was married this place has always been great. I love their goetta here only restaurant I know that serves it. I had a waffle with 2 eggs and goetta with coffee here the food was soooooooo good and Very filling. I remember when our kids was littler and they use to get pancakes here the staff would make them Lil piggy pancakes they loved it.Parking: The place is always packed when they are open.Kid-friendliness: Very kid friendly here sometimes they will have them color them a pics so they can place it on the wall.”

“The Seafood Ramen and Curry Rice are my favorites. The takoyaki is very good too! The dishes are packed with flavor. I'd eat here every day if I could. The portions are generous and the price is on point for the size and quality of the meals. I recently got take out and it was just as nice as in the restaurant. I'm new to this area but Osaka is already a favorite of mine.”

“Great food and friendly people. We eat here often. Try the Kickin' Kay Lynn for a little bit of spice or the Sassy Scotty for a great chicken bacon ranch. The grape salad is good also.”

“The river view with coffee on a cold morning was amazing! A cappuccino & maple pecan latte were fun for the morning, sipping as we looked down at the river. My croissant sandwich was delicious, but the salad was rather plain and lacking for $14. While the servers were friendly, they were unsure about our order (1 thought a cappuccino was a latte), and they were not able to identify if there was gluten in the salad dressings (nor did they offer to check). I recommend the coffee on the river though. Not really any gluten-free options, besides grilled chicken tenders or a salad. Update: visiting several months later and it’s still a bit awkward with the staff, but the coffee and food are good.”

“Yummy Bowl Mongolian Grill is fairly new in Anderson. If you are new, they will explain how the Mongolian Grill experience works. You will select your raw ingredients from a fresh, cafeteria-style selection, filling a bowl with the vegetables and meats you would like included. After adding the seasonings and sauces you prefer, one of the chefs takes your bowl and prepares it for you as you wait back at your table. You also have an opportunity to order ala carte and from a complete sushi menu. We had two yummy bowls prepared as well as a Tiger Roll and Ahi Tuna from the sushi menu. All freshly prepared and excellent. Besides the excellent food, the price for this meal was welcome. It wasn’t much more than you would now pay with today’s inflated prices at a fast food restaurant. Remarkable value and fun experience. Always tables available when we go, so give it a try!”

Instead of going to the mass produced bland corporate restaurants near along RT. 27, go to this place and support a great local spot.”

“I've been wanting Asian food for a few months, so I stopped in to get carry out. I ordered online in advance. I was a little nervous because I ordered my chicken pad thai NO SPICY, but a lot of places put red pepper in anyway. It was absolutely perfect. I mean, PERFECT! No red peppers, no spicy, but full of flavor. It was super hot (temperature) and the container was full. I also got an egg roll which was plump and tasty. The problem is that I can't stop thinking about how good it was, so I'm going to have to go get more soon!!! A+++”
