“Great place to get Filipino food. Kare-Kare was awesome and great Filipino comfort food. The beef was the most tender cut I ever had and it still has body. Just melts in your mouth. Highly recommend. Can't go wrong with any items on the menu. Nice to know they have a standard menu and a 2 week rotating menu. One of my best experience at a restaurant due to the friendly owner and staff! Well done Parilya!”

“If you have not tried aces depot do your mouth a real favor and go immediately the food was absolutely amazing everything you order is made fresh and in house had passed this bar and grill for many years and never thought to go try it finally did and if I could give 10 stars I absolutely would best food in the area amongst all other restaurants and bars in the area the bartender was absolutely amazing very on top of everything and would educate you on everything they have or that they can make”

“My wife and I have been searching for a Chinese restaurant on the west side of town. We have tried several othet places near us. But today we tried Wok of the falls. We ordered lunch portions of; beef and broccoli, sweet and sour chicken, wonton soup with shrimp chips, pork egg rolls and brown fried rice.The portions were huge, the food was hot and fresh. Everything tasted amazing and delicious. A++++++ I would give 10 stars if I could but they only allow five. My wife agress we have found our new go to Chinese restaurant.”

“This is a great local store that has everything you need. I think of it more as a mini Walmart than a local grocery store. The prices are comparable to any local store. It's not inexpensive by any means, but it is convenient and not higher than whatI'd expect from any comparable store. Having said that, it sometimes feels like they're trying to do too much. It's like they're trying to offer too much. The store often feels claustrophobic to me- with any open space shoved to the brim with merchandise. And it's not necessarily essential merchandise. For example- they have a DVD bin. Is that necessary? Also, near the produce are a few racks of clothes and dresses. Are there a bunch of locals looking to try on dresses at their local drug mart? I think space would have been better served by offering less stuff and maybe more produce. I do feel like they offer interesting food and flavors sometimes. It's interesting to see what impulse items they have on the side shelves. The workers are always very nice and personable and are a bright spot to every visit. If I were to offer a suggestion- decrease the items you offer by 15-20% to make more space in the store. Get rid of items that make the store feel dated and junkie like DVD's and weird clothes. And focus on all the other great stuff you do offer.”

“Excellent atmosphere and food. There appeared to be some confusion among the servers on several occasions on issues I couldn't discern. Plus, they also appeared a bit harried at times too. As well, the service was a bit "uneven" on several occasions during the meal. And, more specifically, when my table was cleared between courses, silverware was not automatically replenished. Plus, there were noticeable gaps in getting my table cleared between courses.”

“A young lady at Mark's told me about the trolley house met the owner Jen very nice person and the staff goes along with it we had their hamburgers there all fresh made hand cut fries the wings are awesome the wife and I will be new customers there once again great food highly recommend it”

“Good food, good service, good atmosphere.The Clam Chowder was good. The side salad had the perfect amount of cheese. The Turkey BLT Wrap was good and its fries were amazing. The Skinny Moose Combo was good too with grilled chicken and teriyaki sauce. My only complaint was that I’m almost positive the veggies were frozen and microwaved.They were swamped so even with reservations, there was a bit of a wait. Once we were seated, our server apologized for the chaos and got our orders, got us everything we needed, and spaced things out nicely.The place was well decorated with lots of ornate woodwork and firehouse pieces.We will definitely be back.”

“Understaffed at the bar on a Friday night. bar server with full bar and she's also serving tables. 15 minutes to get served... and she's also getting drinks for the waitresses... and she didn't have a clue as to why we left... G.M doesn't have a clue either, as you wouldn't allow poor service to exist in your establishment on one of the busiest nights of the week - we took our $165.00 for dinner and drinks elsewhere where service was great ??”

“I came in for the first time just yesterday, and it did not disappoint!! The chicken shawarma wrap was so good that I ordered a second one, and the crepe was divine!! The sauces that came with it on the side were INCREDIBLE! The owner and all associates I encountered were wonderful and friendly. I’ve never had a bad experience here - the service is always prompt and personable, the treats are delicious and their cupcake/cake designs are the cutest around!As someone who has sensitivities to dairy, it’s awesome to have dairy-free desserts that are just as good, if not better, than their alternatives. My partner and I stop here whenever we get a chance. They are only (usually) open Friday-Sunday, so plan accordingly, but you won’t regret stopping in.”

“I got the Perfect Balance bowl with lamb and chose the yellow lentil to top the rice. It was delicious, a perfect combination! The lamb meatballs have great seasoning that makes it so appetizing. The yellow lentil was perfectly seasoned too! The service was excellent! The cashier was helpful and nice. His name is Justin. It was my first time at Choolaah and he patiently explained how to order. He even let me sample some lentils so I can choose well what I want The restaurant was cozy, clean, and nice. I like the fresh flowers in vases on the table. They added a vibrant color to the dining area!”

“Neighborhood staple. Have tried the majority of the menu, and love everything I’ve tried! My go-to breakfast spot, even when I’m with non-vegans. I find their menu to be very approachable. I do both carry out and dine in.I typically get their breakfasts, but also love their lemon bars and will usually add on an iced latte. Coffee is usually decent.”

“The food here is so amazing! The staff last night were so accommodating and patient. Our server Daniel gave us great recommendations on the menu and was very patient in working with our food allergies. It was super busy but he made sure we had everything we needed with a smile. It was our first experience eating here and daniel made the evening a blast with his high end service. The food and drinks were 10/10, we will definitely be back!”
