“This place is a gem! Fantastic food that won't empty your bank account. The best part is, even when you order to go, the food is still equally as delicious as eating in! You can't go wrong and I've turned so many people onto this place since I've fell in love with it. Although I may get f.a.t.s from it.. lol.“
“Immediately greeted by our wonderful server, who offered our choice of table or booth. We started with the bacon wrapped brisket, which was very good. Their sauce is awesome. We had soft drinks that never went before half before being refilled, and she kept coming back to check on us. Portions were large. We had the 3 choice combos and HUGE account of fries. The cornbread was more like a leaf and tasted great. Good BBQ, nice atmosphere, and great service. WE'LL BE BACK!“
“A hidden gem in downtown Painesville. The food is always delicious and fresh. The lobster bisque soup is one the very best we've ever had! It's cozy in the winter and chill in the summer sitting outside on the patio. Always a great choice!“
“Food is good. I ordered Schnitzel sandwich it good with the hot sauce that I ask from sever. My husband ordered Holy Schnitzel he love the gravy going good with schnitzel and mashed potatoes. Song is a little too loud for us but overall good food and service.“
“Delicious food in a nice, modern feeling restaurant. I loved all the food I ate from the zucchini bisque, to the crab cakes to the salmon. Service was friendly and attentive. I believe there is some outdoor seating in addition to the large indoor area. Would definitely go back “
“Enjoyable breakfast, lunch restaurant with an atmosphere of warm beaches, surfing and water play on TV, bright with great music in the background. Brightens your day. I had a Denver omelette with grits and gluten-free toast. Plenty of coffee served by a friendly waitress. The grits were the best I have had. I was born in the south. Not sure what the secret ingredient was, but was salted and peppered. Top notch breakfast at lunch. Would return. Downside is not the healthiest menu options, although there was gluten-free, salads and soups, so a variety. I would return, you should try it. Especially in the middle of winter with the warm tropical looks.“
“I went for the first time this morning after getting off work. I had a huge breakfast that was absolutely delicious! The portions were large and the coffee was perfect. The waitress was very friendly and efficient. I told my husband about it and we agreed we will go back soon.“
“Ist visit. Service was good and pork cutlet was delicious. Evening was spoiled by the obnoxious women at the bar with her consistent very loud outbursts. Many customers were very annoyed. Staff should have spoken to her. Will think twice before returning.“
“They have a karaoke night on Fridays. It can be pretty fun. Starts at 10pm but the kitchen closes at 10pm. Go early, get some food and drinks, stay for the karaoke fun. There's a massive big shot burger challenge and if you can polish off the huuuuge burger and a side of fries in under 30 min it's free!“
“Good small town diner. Good food. Coleslaw is the best I've ever had! The downside is the waitresses are extremely loud, they will talk loudly to each other across the diner or to kitchen staff so everyone in the diner can hear their conversation.“
“It’s Waffle House. If you come here with high hopes you are coming for the wrong reason! The food here has always been good for the price. They have a simple menu to choose from so you can enjoy fast food. It’s a bit dirty but not where you eat. The ladies behind the counter are awesome and fast. Would definitely return again.“
“It's a family breakfast hub for us. Breakfast is decent. Service can be hit and miss (depends on how busy they are) but they are friendly and try to be accommodating. Like all places these days, they are understaffed a lot of the time, so a little patience and kindness goes along way.Parking: During busy times, parking lot can be packed.Kid-friendliness: Kid Menus, high chairs/boosters, offer coloring/crayons.Wheelchair accessibility: Yes, one floor building. Restrooms might be tight.“
“Was a nice place, but caught us off-guard by being a mostly Italian menu (name like Red Creek, you don't expect an Italian-centric menu). But, was overall good. Huge portions! One recommendation-- for the Chicken Piccata, less pepper, more lemon. ?“
“Came here to have a meal with family. We got right in without reservations at 430p on a Saturday. It was very busy. I got a panini double cheeseburger (with tater sauce and shredded lettuce) and a salad. Good choice. We had the nachos appetizer which was perfect. Everyone loved their dinner and we all had to take to go boxes. The fresh cut fries here are great.Kid-friendliness: We had a booth which worked great for the kids. Plenty to keep them preoccupied.“
“Take out! It was cheeseburger and fries. Plus, deep-fried mushrooms! You won't have to look any farther. This might be the best burger in town! The mushrooms are something I haven't had this good of ones in Ohio! Great food, and yes, I consumed it all!“
“Eclectic spot with lots of character, food was excellent, service was good, the music entertainment from the Neil Young tribute was very enjoyable. Overall, we'd like to try it again!Food & drinks: Food and drinks were prepared well, average portions, affordable...Noteworthy details: They host live music, and the Neil Young band was enjoyable.“
“A piece of Painesville history, the cafe was once an old drug store with a soda fountain counter, serving phosphates and malteds. Now the Sidewalk Cafe serves up delicious breakfast and lunch in this historic space. You can eat at that same counter today.“
“This casual burger joint is as expected. The menu is written cleverly, plentiful non-burger options, and a decent beer selection. Both beers we wanted were out, but we happily ordered a different selection. Service was friendly, but they were very busy, so it a little slow but no big deal. The place is full of TVs so if you're into sports watching and such, this is a place for you. The outoor/indoor patio was a bonus. All in all, it was good. My only suggestion is that fries, onion rings, and burgers were likely made from frozen and bought in. For a $20 burger, I was hoping that the fries or onion rings would have been house made, but it's a chain restaurant, so it was fairly expected. We'd return but it wouldn't be our first choice. I didn't feel it was all that different from any other chain. A full 4 stars for meeting the expectations, and again, the service was good.“
“Service here is always prompt, polite. I like the atmosphere because it is much like the diner's of old: low-key, relaxed, unpretentious. We mostly get breakfast here. I like their french toast w/wheat bread and cinnamon sugar added! Also, their omelettes are quite good and substantial - not puny!“
“If you are ordering food, it's great. And the service for pickup is good. I have been getting pizza here for 10 years. On the other hand, if you want to eat in at the dining area / bar, the service is absolutely terrible. They get 5 stars because the pizza is amazing. ?“
“This restaurant has become a favorite of ours, and we've happily suggested it to friends seeking an exceptional fine dining experience. The menu boasts fresh and intriguing options, all of which are simply delightful! The ambiance exudes intimacy and charm, creating a perfect setting for a romantic dinner or a special celebration. What's more, the chef takes the time to personally greet guests at their tables and welcomes feedback, adding a personalized touch to the dining experience. For those seeking a memorable culinary adventure, Bistro 70 is sure to exceed expectations!“
