“This place is really good! Veggies are fresh, flavors are yummy, the people who work there are super friendly, and the vibe is really nice. I had the beef panang curry and a Thai iced tea and both were delicious! Prices are fair considering the large portion size. Thank you Raan Thai!“
“My partner and I stumbled across this place on our way to somewhere else, and I'm so happy that we did. The food was phenomenal.Tom Yum Fried rice - delicious and packed with that sweet and sour flavor.Summer Rolls - Incredibly fresh veggies, and the peanut sauce is especially good, better than other Thai options in the area.Pad Kapow Spicy Basil - my partner got it with duck, which was tender and with perfectly crispy skin, just the way it should be.Crab Rangoon - my partner is kinda basic and orders this everywhere he goes, but we were impressed by how much crab is actually in them! Often you order these and they're just deep friend packets of cream cheese with a whiff of crab, but these had almost a 50/50 ratio. Very tasty. One thing that stood out to me overall is that everything tastes very fresh and clean. All of the veggies, from the lettuce in my summer rolls to the peppers to the green beans to the herbs, we're all extremely crisp and fresh tasting. Everything has that fresh homemade taste to it.All in all, we will definitely be back here frequently, since it's so close to home. This definitely qualifies as a hidden gem. I think it has officially become our favorite Thai place in the area!Friendly Warning: when they say spicy, they mean Thai spicy, NOT White People Spicy. Order accordingly.“
“First time here, everything was great! Very friendly service and attentive wait staff. The prices are fair for the portions given compared to other restaurants. Our food was really good. Despite being busy with dine in and takeout orders, our wait time for our dinner was minimal.“
“Incredible authentic Thai. Great dine in or take out. I usually support a couple times per month. Judging on the Pad Thai (how I generally rate any new Thai place) you will find a new favorite.Vegetarian options: Willing to work on individual ingredients to make Vegan dishes for customers. They get it.Dietary restrictions: Along with Vegetarian options, they will work with you to make sure your experience is what you want.“
“The service is AMAZING, the food is DELICIOUS, and they make sure you're enjoying your meal throughout the entire time you are in the restaurant. The staff heard it was our first time trying Thai food and they gave us excellent recommendations! The facility is clean, well decorated and has beautiful and well maintained bathrooms.“
“The food is delicious. The No. 20 Noodle dish (a Vietnamese dish with a spicy sauce over vermicelli noodles, with chicken, shrimp, red and green peppers and onions), and the NO. 1 soup (Tom Yun gong), a spicy, thin soup with mushrooms, large shrimps, and onion, is great. The employees are wonderful: Jen, Mae, Lily, Mike and Andy, who are visible in the dining room; as well as the employees in the kitchen. Siam is my favorite place to visit - just wish it was in my neighborhood!“
“Really relaxed upbeat Thai spot offering a lot of variety of super delicious full, vegetarian, and vegan options. Great for a group of friends to chill and catch up without breaking the bank. Service is awesome but parking can be tough (as is to be expected in the area). Offers dine in and take out which works. Would recommend!Details:Awesome chill spot for small groups (4 to 6) to relax with some awesome variety of Thai food. Vegan and vegetarian options are great with many varieties. Their regular options are super delicious as well. And you can modify dishes if needed, just ask. Price wise it is not bad at all with some really delicious food.Service is really friendly and nothing to complain about, didnt have to wait for someone to come over. Parking can be tough if you go during peak hours (mostly street parking). Atmosphere is really relaxed with a mild upbeat vibe. The bar is pretty awesome as well.It can get a little noisy at times depending on the crowd and the time, but is awesome for just relaxing or catching up with others. Is on the smaller side in terms of number of tables, but that's what makes it really chill. And if you're just looking for the food then you can order takeout and pick up.Would reccomend! (Am aiming to try all their menu options at this point.. they're pretty good!)Vegetarian options: Papaya Salad with fried tofu is splendid but mildly spicyDietary restrictions: Can cater to restrictions you ask forParking: Easy when hours are from 1 to 2 pm. Tough during peak hours.Kid-friendliness: Probably ok for kidsWheelchair accessibility: None available“
“Surrounded by all the trendy E4 establishments, this unassuming place stands out, to me at least, as the best restaurant out of all of them. The food is always hot, the portions are great. I lived in the Gulf Coast, where there are tons of really good Vietnamese restaurants, and this one is on par, if not better, than all of them. It's a real gem and we love coming here often.“
“I've been dying to try Phnom Penh after someone told me that their absolute favorite restaurant in Cleveland was this. I have to say I was not disappointed at all! The menu is massive and definitely felt a little overwhelmed with what to order but the owner was very helpful in pointing us to dishes that he was sure we would like. We got one rice dish and one noodle dish, both of which were incredible. Service was amazing as well as we were checked on frequently. Overall, we loved our time here and will definitely be returning“
“A great little spot that serves authentic tasting Thai food. The standout was that day’s special, the deep fried tilapia, which was very well seasoned and cooked perfectly - crispy on the outside and tender on the inside. Their “Thai spicy” level of spiciness is accurate and not just some marketing gimmick. It really IS spicy, and I love it.“
“This is our favourite Thai restaurant hands down. It really doesn't matter what we've tried it's all really delicious. If you've never tried a Thai tea, I recommend it here, it's sweet but yummy. If you like crab rangoon my family believes it's the best out of all the places we've tried. It's not on the menu but just ask for it and they will make it. Kind of like a secret menu!“
“The Pad Thai was really tasty! The rest of my party loved their food also! The Thai desserts are different but tasty. You didn't feel like ugh when you finished the dessert. Our server was great, nice personality and very knowledgeable about the food, that's always a plus. The reason I gave it a 4 and not a 5, was the comfort of the seating area. Chairs just weren't comfortable for sitting awhile and the table was uneven. Otherwise I would recommend this restaurant. Maybe we'll do take out next time.“
“This is a great little place. The owner and staff were very courteous. The food was excellent. Very authentic. Don't get "Thai Spicy" if you don't know what you are doing. They were very kind and accomodative of all of our requests. I highly recommend this place. While we were waiting for our food, I overheard them take a phone order so patiently and carefully that I immediately knew the food was going to be amazing. And it was!“
“Drunken noodle was okay. I wish it was more spicer though (They didn’t ask for the spicy level when we ordered). The gravy in the thai green curry was very tasty. I must tell something about the portion size, its not the average portion size you get from anywhere else. Its a little less. As the appetizers we ordered beef satay. And we got 4 beef skewers they were very small in size. Compared to the other Thai restaurants we tried I wouldn’t say this is authentic. But overall the food was nice and the staff were very welcoming.“
“At first I thought Ty Fun was going to be yet another one of Cleveland’s ubiquitous but unremarkable Thai restaurants, but we ended up having a pretty tasty meal. Freshness was the name of the game, from the lightly crispy - but not dry - spring rolls and fried tofu, to the citrusy and umami-packed papaya salad (though the romaine lettuce was an unusual addition), to the wok-kissed stir frys. My only real gripe has to be the profusion of extra crunchy green beans that infiltrated nearly every dish. The service meanwhile was beyond lightning fast, the staff were super friendly, and the space was hip and bright and clean. Definitely a solid choice when you’re in need of a southeast Asian fix and don’t have time to wait.“
“Small hole in the wall with very tasty food. They bag everything to go, but there are some small wooden tables with chairs. I ate inside. Help was friendly and food service was quick. I certainly would go back. Geared for mostly to go orders. I had Pad see “
“Nice small dining area but the food is top notch! Always fresh and delicious! The pan fried noodles are awesome! Even the spring roll appetizers are top quality and the service is the best. Very nice people.Ive found a new favorite restaurant, and that's saying a lot for me.“
“Unassuming place with few tables. We had Tom Kha soup, green curry/brown rice and fried rice. All delicious. Very nice staff. Saturday night we were the only dine ins. Steady stream of people getting takeout. We’d definitely come back again.“
“The restaurant itself felt a little lacking. A good open space that was not intimate in any way. You could hear everyone's conversation without trying. The food though was pretty good. We love Thai food and go to different locations. This felt pretty authentic amd was tasty enough that we had no leftovers.“
