“I think it may be the younger generation workers. They need training on customer care and how to treat people. Just kind of rude and impersonable. That makes for bad experiences. It's sad to say, but that is most places these days, and it doesn't have to be that way. Kindness goes a long way.“
“I am new to Portsmouth area and was wanting some fish and chips to take home for my wife and I. There is another restaurant in the area that has f&chips, but they are closed on Mondays and Tuesdays. I found F&F on Google maps and it had good reviews for f&chips. Ordered takeout and they were some of the best fish and chips we have had. Very friendly staff. We will be back in and try some of their other items. It's nice to find places like this when you are new to the area.“
“This is my new favorite burger place. I love the town. The restaurant is perfect. Everything was perfect. Great wait staff. Amazing beer selection. Great prices and the best burger I've had in years if not the best ever. Mac and cheese and real bacon on a perfectly cooked burger. I'm an onion ring freak and these were wonderful. “Steak, pizza, lots of other choices. Everything I have tried there has been excellent. Building is amazing with lots of history, makes for an interesting dinner. Service was good and without issues, dining areas are spread out and did have to seek attention one time, but they were very busy.“

“08/13/2023 it was five minutes to closing and the restaurant got a rush. With two employees working, a boat load of orders and a register that stopped working they handled it. They were funny and creative and made the best of a bad situation. The order was right and the sandwich was great.Thank you. I will come back, but not five minutes before closing next time. Haha.“
“Went to this restaurant with my wife for her class reunion. The area we used was very clean, the food was really good and the service was good. Although they will charge you a "large party" service bill even though everyone had their separate bills which I didn't though made sense. So just a heads up that your bill might be higher than expected because of this.“
“Went with my sister Jonda, who had heard much about Ribbers. Now we know why! We wanted to dine at a steakhouse, and we were not disappointed! Started with fried mushrooms and a mini cheeseball with our spirits. Then a large New York strip steak, baked potato, and cole slaw! The food was delicious and our service was great, as well as the atmosphere! We will definitely return the next time we are in Portsmouth, Ohio!!“
