“The service and the atmosphere were fantastic. 5/5 on that account. My family and I went for lunch and we were all very pleased with our food, and the lunch prices were reasonable. The menu is small but that's fine, if you search the place on Google first you can see that the menu is small before hand. I don't think I would go there for dinner, due to how expensive it is. Their salad dressings seem house made and they were really good, but the rest of their food seemed a little bit salty or a tad bit bland to everybody. Food was 4/5 stars, but I definitely wasn't disappointed and will be back for lunch to try more items.“

“We had a larger party of 11 or 12 ppl and were still seated in less than an hour when it was busy. Our server was also training a new server that day and they both did well. Friendly with fast service and fresh delicious food. Family friendly with a great atmosphere for chatting and visiting a bit. Everything was neat, clean, tidy and the retail shop was well stocked.“

This would be an excellent place to bring a date. ?There was a nice selection of food. I believe I had gyro type of dish and my friend who is vegetarian had a pasta. “I have been playing this course since it first opened. I love the unique layout and all the horse related statues and barns. It is by far my favorite public course in the Dayton area. I do have a couple complaints. As an ex golf course superintendent it's hard for me not to nit pick at things out on any course. That being said, it would be nice if they would mow a walk path to each tee box and one pass around each. The tee markers are hard to see hidden behind the tall grass and if you're playing in the morning your pants will be soaked from walking through the high grass at every tee. My other complaint would be about the bunkers. They need to be raked a little more often. There is plenty of sand in them, they are just hard and compacted. Other than that, the staff is super polite and very helpful.“
“Great time with the family, used our Veterans Day Dinner passes, I'm an U. S. Army (Ret.) Veteran and my brother is a U. S. Navy Veteran, as well as the whole family, celebrated our Mother's Birthday ?? too. Excellent service and had an amazing time! It was packed and the servers were getting people in and out of there like a military deployment ?. I have two pieces of advice, call ahead to get in, there is no longer a waiting area in the Springfield TRH location, so a "call ahead" is key to getting in and getting seated and served.?️?(called at 3:30pm for a 5:30pm dinner date). And the 2nd, if you downloaded the app for TRH, use the same timeframe for setting up your dinner ?️ time, downloaded and set a date for our dinner, 2 days in advance and it called me an hour & 10 minutes after I set the time and date. Called and talked with the staff and Manager, and they explained the procedures for the "Call Ahead" and mobile ? app, so it's a verified process. Reason I explained this, last time I made a reservation, was pre COVID, so a lot of things have changed. Hence, the bags of peanuts ?, ask your servers for these, as the once peanut ? barrel at the front door ? and metal bucket's on your table of peanuts ? and the other for your empty shells, have become a thing of the past, memories of good times, my wife's favorite thing about this restaurant, she's sentimental ?. “My husband and I discovered this gem on a typical Saturday night around 8:30 pm. It's easy to find and offers plenty of parking. For being later, there was still a decent crowd, but we got right in and seated. It's a cozy, clean, and family-friendly place. The atmosphere is warm, comfortable, and welcoming. For the younger generation, it might be considered dated. It's clean and seems well cared for.The menu offers a wide range of options. The prices are average to high compared to other good restaurants. It's worth it.Staffing shortages make service a little slow, but that's the trend everywhere.The food is made to order, most of what we had tasted homemade and was delicious.Our server was kind and accommodating.We really enjoyed the good food, upbeat atmosphere and friendly people.We will definitely be returning.Overall, I highly recommend this gem of a place!“
