“After living in Japan for 6 years, trust me when I say Chef and his team has it done right. I had the "Omakase" (aka tasting menu). The tasting was 2 hours long in duration, the food tasted great, the designed dishes (food) was very creative, plating was beautiful and service was awesome too. Worth every dollar of the $125 pricing. I left on a full stomach and hope to go again before leaving Toledo. I highly recommend it. Please enjoy.“
“LOVED IT. First of all, walking in, the first thing that is noticeable is how absolutely cute it is in there. It is clean as well. The food was good and the presentation of the food is outstanding. They make a lot of effort in all areas and that is very obvious. It is my new go to hibachi!“
“The serves was fast and friendly. The food came out very fast and hot. The Beef Bento box was very tasty. Fresh sushi. The avocado in the "eel avocado" roll could have been a little fresher, but still good. The Stone bowl Bibimbap was good, and a great experience to have. I want to try the Ramen next time. My son got a take out order of the Panko Chicken Curry in medium heat. His only complain was he wanted more rice. Other than that it tasted great.“
“Really great sushi spot! Wide selection of different Japanese foods. I recommend the shrimp shumai as a starter, and the yakisoba noodles are another recommendation. All of the sushi is amazing. The omurice is alright, just tasted like ketchup fried rice folded up in an omelet. The ramen is really good. The service is slow, but that's because they usually only have one waitress, and thats a bit difficult when all the tables are full, on weekends usually. There arent a lot of tables, and sometimes there is a wait, and with it being kind of a tight space, I dont think anyone who gets overstimulated would enjoy this restaurant during the weekend.“
“The best sushi I Toledo. I live in Cleveland now and can’t find a good sushi spot that is better than this. I come to Toledo often and will stop by whenever I have time. I’ve only done takeout but I look forward to sitting down and dining in.“
“This is my go to place in Toledo. Convenient, the best Sushi in Toledo, the hibachi grilled entrees are perfect, and Yama is always there to ensure the experience is top notch.Parking: Parking is usually open right in front of the entrance to Yama sushi. There are many times abled bodied people park in the handicap spot but there are more spots available.Kid-friendliness: The simplicity of this layout makes it kid friendly and safe for you to bring your little ones.Wheelchair accessibility: The tables are at great height a d would allow wheelchair access.“
“We absolutely enjoyed our dining experience at Shobu!!! Salina was our waitress. She patiently explained the menu and was very professional! The food was exceptional and delicious! The atmosphere was friendly and sophisticated!! Thank you, Kengo and associates!“
“The only place my kids and I would get our food from at the Franklin Park Food Court because their food is delicious, fair price and good portion. Their staff are all polite and the guy who cooks the meat is really good and very professional even with difficult customers.Vegetarian options: They have shrimp, broccoli or mushroom sides.“
“Food was awesome. Staff was nice. Wanted water with our food but after seeing the water machine. No thankyou. Please clean up your machine. It's disgusting and makes me think about how clean it is where the food is being made.Crab Rangoon was better than pretty much everywhere else.“
“We came here because it was my sons birthday… we started with fried calamari as appetizer, it’s super delicious!! My son loved the Tempura yum yum roll, it’s very very good!! If you like a hot spicy soup, Kimchi soup it’s amazing it has its sides our broccoli, steamed rice, black beans in a soy sauce very very delicious!! I can’t wait to visit again!!“
“Brad is always great! Fun, friendly, great conversation, sooooo knowledgeable about so much more than just the menu - it's astonishing the wealth of knowledge packed into that man's brain.I'm pretty basic, I get the same few items every time I go: Samba, Asparagus Beef Rolls, Crab Cakes, or the Shrimp with Lemon Garlic - which is always cooked to perfection. Hot Sake with dinner and the She's No Gentlemen for dessert. Can't go wrong. I always leave happy!“
“This is a great experience, high quality food. Pricey, but completely worth it for such an enjoyable time, the staff are incredible!Kid-friendliness: While it was surprising to me the staff and experience is very kid friendly. The chefs are able to entertain and keep the attention of the children and we're even able to get them to eat their veggies!“
“This place is great. I got a bowl with salmon, and loaded with about everything I could put on it, and my wife got some California rolls. My bowl came out great. Salmon was cooked perfectly and the veggies were fresh. My wife's California rolls were good too. The crab was great. And filling too! I am completely full. Not bad for $15.The servers were nice, and the place was clean. This is probably my favorite place to eat on this side of town. Highly recommend.Vegetarian options: Lots of veggies and a tofu option for your protein.“
“We did the hibachi dinner. Was fun like those usually are. Food was good. I had the steak/chicken/shrimp mix. Portions were generous. Kind of unusual in my experience but they gave you both rice and soba noodles. You also can have soup and salad with the meal. Salad is the usual type for these places with dressing I personally don't care for wish you could get a more typical American dressing. Soup was ok but the hibachi was of course the star of the show. I'd go back given the opportunity. Though the place is in a plaza with Chick-fil-A for me and that means kind of tough driving thru the Parking lot sometimes.“
“The food was amazing, the ramen was tasty fresh noodles delicious flavors, nice meat pork small bar dining experience had to wait outside to get in but definitely worth the wait. The prices was fair and the food was amazing. What else could you ask for?“
