“Small local coffee shop. You place your order, grab your beverage, and then take a seat. We enjoyed our food and experience, but personally prefer a little more elbow room. I recommend this place if you are a group of two or less just due to size of space. There isn't a ton of seating, maybe 10 two seat tables. Once the seats are taken, you have to wait for availability. The coffee is great! It was self-serve with the option or half and half or oat milk in their fridge. Orange juice is available, and it tasted fresh squeezed! The food was really tasty! We ordered the breakfast tacos, the greek omelet with cinnamon raisin toast, and split the hashbrowns.“
“My wife is GF/DF, and after a Quick Look at the menu, this place seemed worth a visit. We had modest expectations, but those were completely blown out of the water. EVERYTHING we ordered was amazing - maple chili roasted cauliflower, beet salad, cold pressed cocktails, kombucha, tuna steak, braised short rib, & flourless cacao cake with goji berry coconut ice cream… and my wife was beyond thrilled to have so many options without compromising her GF/DF needs or compromising on the flavor/ingredients either. Our server, R.B., was also incredibly kind and helpful, checking in throughout the evening and offering helpful insight into the menu. We CANNOT WAIT to come back to try more dishes!!“
“Absolutely loved this place! The food was aAmazing! They have no deep fryers, heat lamps, or microwaves in the entire place so you know your getting real cook to order food! The million dollar bacon is melt in your mouth! (Literally) Definitely will be visiting again soon!“
“This is the perfect place for not only food, but for the drinks! As one of the vodka brands on their shelf, we on the Buckeye Vodka team see first how service is always great, too. This is a highly recommended place that won’t disappoint.“
“Nonalcoholic cafeteria-style restaurant in which food is behind the counter and servers will provide it based upon your requests. As you move down the line, you can select from an extensive array of salads and jello, then hot foods including various meats and vegetables, then rolls, then drinks, and, finally, an extensive selection of deserts. Your selections are rung up separately by the cashier at the end of the line and, after paying, you carry your tray to the table or booth of your choice where a server will assist you in removing the dishes from your tray and will carry off the tray. Attentive server also bring you drink refills and carry away any dishes that you are finished with. Food is good, selections are many, but prices are a bit on the high side.Parking: Huge parking lot with handicap parking near the building.“
“This is on our regular rotation. But it seemed to be extra good this time. I had the barbecue chopped salad and my wife had the fish sandwich. We also had a bowl of clam chowder. Frankly, the last couple of experiences at Cap City have been subpar for one reason or another, but this one at Rusty was really good. Also two red sangrias that were tasty. Server did a really nice job too. The folks at Cap could learn from him. ;)“
“It was our first time there. We asked for recommendations. Our server, Clarke, was great. She took time and made many suggestions. My blackened shrimp and gumbo was delicious. I was surprised by the spice level simply because restaurants will say something is spicy and it isn't. This dish had the perfect amount of spice. I would definitely order again. Great first experience. We will definitely be back.“
“Houlihan's is GREAT !! we've eaten at different ones that were in Indianapolis, Indiana and in Cleveland, Ohio years back when they were open and have been coming to this location for years as well. The food is really good, we've tried different things on their menu and have NEVER had any complaints. I also call to get carryout and the food and wait time is ALWAYS on point.“
“I dined at Agni last night. From the moment we walked in the door we were encompassed in hospitality. Our waiter went above and beyond to make us comfortable and describe the components of each course. I absolutely loved the tasting menu and the surprises along the way. This was one of the best dining experiences I’ve had and worth every penny. I did the vegetarian course and my companions did the main tasting menu. I felt like I was tasting complex flavor combinations that just intensified with each bite. Highly recommend going for your own special occasions.“
“Such a beautiful little spot. Stopped in before a show at the Southern Theatre to grab some drinks and appetizers with my friend. The staff was incredible, drinks were outstanding, and the food was delicious! Highly recommend stopping in and checking out the gorgeous decor and menu.“
“FINALLLY!! A bbq spot that knows what they're doing! Beef ribs are superb ?! Baked beans are good, potato salad was ok though. I like more mustard in mine. I didn't care for Mac n cheese, it had a sweet aftertaste. I like to taste cheesy sharp cheddar and seasonings in my Mac n chz. It was overcooked:/. Otherwise bbq slaps! My son's co-worker kept telling us to try it, glad we did :).“
“Extremely welcoming and friendly environment with great food! Just as good of quality as a bigger name Italian Restaurant in Columbus for a more reasonable price. Fantastic service and you can really tell that it's family owned and the staff cares about the guests experience. Would highly recommend and will definitely be back!“
“This place goes well beyond "bar food" and makes some truly delicious meals. The pimento burger, falafel, wings, Mac and cheese...all fantastic. Drinks are super reasonably priced and all of the bartenders we've had have been great.“
“Stopped in tonight for dinner and knew it was going to be busy since it’s Friday. Through all the chaos, Brooklyn the waitress/bartender was great! Very attentive, friendly and knowledgeable of the menu. The best part was the shrimp and grits she recommended was FANTASTIC! I wouldn’t have normally ordered that, but she sold me on them and she was right! I’ll definitely be back!“
“This was my 2nd time visit. Special occasion. 75th birthday. Called ahead to have a bottle of champagne chilling at the table upon our arrival and to please have a table in a corner for the five of us elderly hard hearing folks. The manager and staff were Great! My new favorite restaurant.“
“Amazing experience here! We sat at the bar and the food was flavorful, and lively. Sean served us creative, complex cocktails. I mean truly memorable. Think you've had a good mojito? Try one here. Seriously, any of Sean's creations will engage flavors in a rare and elevated way. I don't think I've had a better cocktail experience.“
“It's a nice place, a little noisy for a slow day. The waitress was excellent and attentive. The eggplant meatballs were interesting, and the Korean Cauliflower was tasty. Reasonably priced parking could be tricky if busy. If we were in the area, we would try again.“
“5 stars all the way around haven’t tried anything on the menu that isn’t great. When at work a few of us eat or grab coffee here everyday. I live in grove city and make a trip here for lunch with the wife on the weekends sometimes. Great people great food. Hidden gem for sure.Kid-friendliness: Kids menu“
“Girls night out. Clint, Dylan, Mike and DJ were working. We had never been there before. They were very helpful with suggestions. And the wings and pastrami/philly were delicious. All the staff took turns checking in on us to make sure the food was good, and we had everything we needed. My friend and I talked a few minutes beyond closing but they encouraged us to just take our time. Laid back atmosphere. Will be going back to try the brisket next.“
“The food was really tasty. I had the sausage and rosemary omelette, orange mango mimosa, and a delicious cookies and cream milkshake. The service was a bit slow and the interior was not interesting. It was a nice place for brunch with the girls.Vegetarian options: The menu is all vegan, and there are so many options.Dietary restrictions: Aside from the all vegan menu there were several items marked gluten free.“
“We’ve been twice and had a blast! We’ve tried the fries, wings, and gluten free pizza and all were so good! I’ve tried at least 3 cocktails and enjoyed two so far (apparently I don’t like Campari lol). Great atmosphere and great music!“
“We've recently moved to the area and have eaten at Stav's several times. Everything about it is a treat. The food is great, the atmosphere is great, the people who work there are great, and the patrons are great! (I sound like Tony the Tiger!) If you are in the mood for an eclectic Diner experience, try Stav's. You might have to wait a few minutes because it is a popular and small place, but relax and people watch. The food is worth it!“
“We visited this place while in Columbus for the 1st time back in April 2023..We then had it again at a game when we visited on an unofficial visit to OSU. When I tell you my husband and I love it and we look forward to visiting again. The fried chicken with the hot honey..the spoon bread OMG..the shrimp and grits amazing..the succotash I was nervous to try,but it didn't disappoint.“
“This place right here is IT!! It is a gem, the food is phenomenal. It's super small but has a comforting environment. We have had several different menu items and everything is amazing. Everything is homeade and made to order. The hash is unbeatable and the biscuits and gravy is like a grandma would make. Now let's talk about pricing, their prices are so good. This is hands down the best breakfast spot I've ever ate at in my 33 years.“
“Absolutely exquisite cuisine. Carefully prepared and intentional. The staff is consistently kind and attentive, and the management clearly cares about their customers.Their happy hour is extraordinarily affordable and a really obvious choice.“
“I loved the meaty omelette with hash browns and the delicious biscuit. Great place to go to if you want a hardy breakfast/brunch. The bacon wrapped hotdogs with Pico de Gallo ketchup and mustard were also delicious. I think if I order the meaty omelette again I will see if I'm able to add some veggies too.“
“Easy to walk past but worth looking for this second story gem. Had a great experience at Denmark. The mixologist was fantastic and we shared some conversation around the different whiskey they had on the shelf. A great place for delicious drinks, but don’t go hungry. They do have a small menu for light fare food to take the edge “
“I’ve been here a few times, and finally writing a review. Had Melanie tonight as a server, phenomenal. She recommended some great dishes for our party. They execute in every way a restaurant should. Can’t wait to go back, I wish I lived closer.“
“Excellent service and food. Our server, Adam, was absolutely the best! It was our first time here, and we will definitely be back. We had crab cakes, meatloaf and chicken romano, and the rolls were hot and light, so good. We shared the apple pie with ice cream for dessert. Delicious! We plan to come back for a shake and sandwich soon.“
“So glad we found this lovely little diner. So far we are excited about this new experience for us the three brothers margarita is delicious and plenty to share . The chili and Tortola soup is very good and we had the burrito today also yum!!!! Our new favorite place to dine beats all other Mexican diners in grove city hands down ♥️the guac was awesome as well?staff is friendly and helpful“
“I always love coming here. Some experiences are more stellar than others, but have never had a bad meal or experience here over many, many years.Came in today, really wanting a salad, but not psyched by any of the options. I always ask servers for their favorites and Hollie said that her favorite thing on the menu is the Caesar salad, adding grilled chicken tossed in Buffalo sauce. I had originally glossed over the Caesar salad because, well... it's a Caesar salad, but her recommendation was bang on! Hollie was the perfect server with the right amount of attention at just the right time, but never hovering or rushing. This is why I come back again and again.“
“*extremely late post *This was a very nice place. We went for brunch and it was pretty packed. That's always a good sign. I enjoyed the food. Our waitress was nice and consistent. The restaurant had a great atmosphere. I haven't been back yet, but I definitely plan too. Even if it's just for the Salmon. Some of the best I've tasted. Keep up the good work.“
“My company had our holiday party here and it was absolutely amazing. I loved the ambiance of the establishment and the setup for dinner. All the staff we're super amazing and hands on the entire time. They engaged with us at every stage of preparing our meal and we all walked away with great tips. As you can see from my photos, our meal was absolutely amazing and delicious. I also loved the open bar and being offered the opportunity to take an old fashioned cocktail making course. I highly recommend anyone to not only book this venue, but to also check out their other events as well.“
“Reserve a table or get full dinner service at the bar. Great window seating and patio. "Classic" steakhouse-style dining room. This is a modern rendition of a 1950s retro restaurant. Great steaks and solid wine list. You will not go hungry and you will not go thirsty! Bar service is a great choice for enjoying the crowd.Dietary restrictions: Keto friendlyCarnivore friendlyLow carb friendlyPaleo friendlyParking: Valet is best option“
“Stopped in tonight because I use frequent here a few years back before I joined the military. Two stunning bartenders, Kayla and Laura, greeted me with beautiful smiles I wasn’t sure what to have but Kayla recommended a seasonal Sam Adams that is now a favorite. I ran into an old friend from the Wyandot Lake days and we were reliving our youth and did a shot. Laura poured one of her go to’s that went down smooth. Felt very welcome in here. Will come back next time in town.“
“I set up a reservation on Valentine’s Day for my wife and I. Thank God they serve tasty mocktails because my wife is pregnant and we had a very knowledgeable server who guided her in the right direction and loved her drink. The ambience was very soothing and relaxing, the staff were all kind, and the food and plating of the food was quite the experience! Thank you Watershed!“
“EDIT: Still a great joint, but there has to be a way to improve the seating process during busy times. There's nowhere to stand or sit, and they won't seat anyone at the round table in the back. I stood for 40 minutes with two others and half the time that table was empty. The whole counter up front should be removed to make room for customers waiting. It's truly an awful experience coming to Olympic Diner when it's busy.A rare bird of a restaurant, a local, classic diner, but with genuinely good food and service. The owning family all work there and are extremely friendly and ever present. They will remember who you are.“
“Small restaurant in German Village. Make a reservation unless you like sitting at the bar.We got the Housemade Focaccia to start. It is awesome.Garden Pickle Salad to share. Pretty good. The dressing was very tart. Salads are a whole entree portion so share them or get them for dinner.Their suppers all looked good and made it hard to choose. For supper we got the Cuban and the Ravioli. Cuban was awesome and Ravioli was good too.We got the chocolate chip cookie with gelato for dessert. Of course delicious.Old Fashioned was great and my wife's mocktail she enjoyed but was very sweet so she could only do one.Ben was a great waiter with great recommendations and attentive service.“
“Been coming here for years, this is one of my favorite locations to just grab a beer in Columbus. The atmosphere has always been chill (even when the place is full) and the staff are always friendly, helpful, and attentive.Beer and grub is solid if not standout, and they get new things on tap very regularly.I recommend the place!“
“I must say Delaney's Diner is in my top 5 list of all time favorite breakfast. The food is always good and the service is always 10/10. I wanted to stop in and get some breakfast and it truly made my day. Again the food is always fresh and the people are nice. Even though they stay packed they try their best to get people seated in a reasonable time. I alway get the big breakfast sandwich with hash browns and a pancake! If you are looking for a sign to try this place. Take this as your sign!! You won’t be disappointed. I look forward to going back and trying some of their lunch options.“
“We went on a Saturday morning and the donut counter was Really Busy! We were able to seat ourselves right away and had service within just a few minutes. The coffee was great!! I ordered the French Toast and my husband got the burrito, smothered in sausage gravy. My french toast was good, but a little doughy. I like mine a little more done. My husband said the burrito and gravy were good. He also ordered a side of homefries and for the price, he definitely didn't get a large enough portion. He said they were good, a lot of garlic! Over all it was good, not great. A little expensive for breakfast. We ordered donuts on the way out and again good, but nothing I have to make a special trip back for.“
“I LOVE this place. It also has meaning to us as we celebrated our engagement with their best cake (in my opinion) Fudgey Wudgey! We decided to have that cake for our elopement a year later. There was a little miscommunication with the cake and when I expressed that to Lisa, she went above and beyond to correct it. This restaurant values their customers and I can’t recommend it enough. 10/10 all around.“
“Went to Fat Baxter's for the first time and loved it! We got three appetizers, the pretzel bites, Baxter Balls and Slut Tots, and they were all delicious! For entrées, I got a cheeseburger and my partner got wings. We brought home a lot of it, the portions are very generous. Parking was easy, with plenty of off-street parking spots. The service was fast and accurate! They accept all major credit cards. The general feel of this bar/grill is like "local meetup." I feel like the the staff knew a lot of the other customers, and there were regulars. Very fun atmosphere! This place is also very affordable, we would've spent so much more for this much food in Short North! We'll definitely go back!“
“We arrived for an early Sunday brunch. We were the first table seated quickly followed by 3 more tables. The waitress waited on us 3 despite the fact that we were there first and ready to order. A hostess brought us water because we waited a while for our waitress to greet us. The food was very good. The hostess staff was also very friendly and talkative. Overall, a good experience. We will be back.“
“There are a few places in German Village which can be someone's version of Cheers. This is ours. The food is spectacular and the servings are plentiful. Here you will find the tastiest burgers in the city. The draft beers are quality, the bartenders are great with a mixed drink. The original art on the wall is for sale and changes monthly, but everything else stays the same. The reason to go to the Mohawk is the atmosphere and the service. You will recognize the regulars after a while, and everyone in the restaurant will get to know you. When the servers ask you if you want your regular drink, or have half of your order written down by the time they ask if you know what you want, because they know what you'll order, you know your in a special place. That's the type of place the Mohawk is. It's the place where the tables are close enough that there are no strangers and your neighbor may engage you in conversation. The type of place where someone may buy you a drink or a meal after a great chat. It's the type of place that you go to when you want to feel the pulse of a neighborhood, and always feel welcomed.“
“First time dining and we enjoyed everything. We had a reservation and our table was ready when we arrived. Service was fantastic! Everyone enjoyed cocktails and wine. The non alcoholic Manhattan was a little disappointing - too fruity with a hint of licorice. We ordered the pork belly and cornbread as apps. For dinner, we had the farro dish, gumbo, chicken sandwich, steak, and she crab soup. Everything was full of flavor and I would highly recommend all of them. For dessert we had the creme brulee and chocolate bread pudding. Happy hour prices were a plus for the items ordered before 6. Will come back.“
“I live right by here and I finally made it over for brunch! I always knew it was small from walking by and when I walked inside I confirmed that there are only a few tables and bar seats, but they do lots of take out it seems. The entire place is covered in writing due to the markers left on every table, which was a cool vibe. I got everything but the chicken sink which is essentially a fried chicken sandwich with French toast as the bread - the chicken was good but not super crispy and the French toast was kind of meh. We also got the pancake balls with apple and pumpkin butter, which were delicious! I ended up eating the chicken out of my sandwich, skipping the French toast, and eating more pancake balls. My bf got the toast with egg on the inside and spicy/sweet bacon. I think he thought his meal was good, but nothing crazy! Overall I thought it was good, but I won’t be shouting from the rooftops about it.“
“Townhall has a huge menu to chose from. It caters to any and everyone no matter what your taste buds or dietary restrictions are. I tryed the grilled cheese which was good and the tomato bisque which was fire(delicious). My wife had sushi and she said it was some of the best sushi she has in Columbus thus far. The drinks were also on point. I highly recommend giving them a try!!!“
“Dining at Alqueira was the experience that I’ve been searching for but not finding amongst the restaurants who seem to be trying too hard. The locally sourced and changing menu is prepared and presented in simple ways yet delivers deep and delicious flavors across all their dishes. We’ll be back the next time we visit Columbus.“
“So I would say the food is good but not amazing. The service was very slow. We had a party of seven and tried lots of stuff. We started with the surf and turf sushi roll (very good) and a couple of the cheesy breads (good). The roasted Chicken salad was great. The salmon entree was very good but pick a different side dish than the couscous. The Mexican street corn is A+ good. I had the French dip and it was just ok, I would never order it again. I ordered the burger last week on DoorDash and it was phenomenal so I'm guessing it would be even better at the restaurant. The girls had sushi rolls which were mostly good. Coconut one was great. The Hudson roll one my wife did not like. Wine choices are ok by the glass, decent for a bottle but nothing of note. So I'm guessing we will go back for the variety for the crowd we take (our kids and their friends) and I'm guessing I'll get the burger next time. Brownie desert was good not great. Sorry no pics, I was having fun instead.“
