The food was good - we got jollof rice with goat, jerk chicken, and goat curry with coconut rice. Very flavorful.Unfortunately, the service for dine in left much to be desired. We got there around 6:45 pm and they asked us if we were eating in, in which we replied “yes,” then they proceeded to say “we close at 8 pm though.” That was ample time to eat and leave. Two reasons you should go to Divine Appetite: 1. Great Caribbean/African food. 2. Support a great locally owned family restaurant. This was restaurant 2 (of 24) of my wife and my December eating Advent calendar. What a great treat! My wife ordered the Fufu (think of mashed potatoes, but made of Casava). It was our first time dining here, and also first time tasting African food. The place was small, informal, and cozy. The people there were very friendly and took the time to give us recommendations.
