“This place was amazing! I took my 18-year-old daughter here for dinner and she tried something new to her. Turns out she wasn't a fan (not because it wasn't good) But simply because they were flavors she wasn't familiar with. As it is with trying anything new, there's a fifty/ fifty chance you won't like it. Needless to say they were very understanding, and accommodating. Mike got our new order in right away, and went out of his way to make sure our experience was a good one. Thank you also to our wonderful server, Bella. For putting up with us with a smile, and making sure we were taken care of from the start. Definitely would recommend, and will definitely be back.“
“First time visiting, but it's my mom's 5th time. She loves this place. Great service and environment. Everyone was very friendly. A wonderful selection of options. Drinks and food were great. The wings were our fave. Best wings I've had in a long time. We definitely recommend!“
“I've been here several times and have always had a positive experience, from the friendly service to the delicious food. Today's Easter brunch was no exception; not only did everything on the buffet taste fresh, but the staff continually replenished the food to ensure everyone was able to enjoy it. Our server Dan was also so sweet and made our family outing that much more enjoyable. This place is such a gem in Westlake!“
“The restaurant and service were both nice, but I didn't like my entree (lobster fettuccine). I'm not one to bother and send anything back, but my pasta was way too salty and there was entirely too much sauce/cheese. My appetizer (Buffalo chicken spring rolls) was great and the bread/butter was awesome. I am not sure I would return. But I wouldn't warn against it. Service was and ambiance were really nice.“
“We have breakfast here at least twice a month and absolutely love it! We haven't ordered the same thing once and everything has been great. Our most recent server Madi made sure to refill our coffees at almost every pass by our table and she was so nice! Highly recommended for a good breakfast or brunch!“
“My Wife and I went to Mahle's Friday the 22nd for our 38th wedding anniversary. because we were eating early we didn't think we would need reservations but upon arrival we were told that with the walk-ins they had and the reservations on the books they were full. We mentioned to Beverly that we had traveled a considerable distance, upon hearing that she found us a perfect spot in the corner of the back dining room. And as always the food and service was excellent.“
“The service was great and the food was amazing! They make their bread inhouse and everything was super fresh. This was our first visit and Stephanie our server was very helpful and nice. We will definitely be back often.Vegetarian options: You can change the burgers for veggie patties and they have other options as well!“
“Definitely a local hangout ... and incredibly welcome to new-comers. Mushroom Cheese Burger is fantastic; sweet potatoe fries a wee-better than regular fries (only because they are sweet potatoes.) Teriyaki burger would be better if it were teriyaki-based barbeque sauce. Can't wait until we are back in the area ... a definite go-to spot.“
“Ironwood Cafe Westlake is a great restaurant and bar. They have a nice specials menu that gives you options not available on the daily menu. Taco Tuesday is personal favorite. With multiple options and good prices, you cannot go wrong. Their happy hour is also a good deal for drinks. If you're looking for a nice dinner with a bar seeing, this night just be your next stop for dinner.“
“I got the lemon and blackberry French toast and it was DIVINE.The food runner who brought us our food was better than our actual server. Our server wasn't attentive. She didn't tell us her name, didn't ask how we were doing, and she took a large amount of time between our drink order and our food order (about 25 minutes) even though it was clear we were ready. Then, she used our table as her sorting area for all of her receipts while we were still eating. As long as I get a different server, I would love to return to this establishment.“
“Visited Cabin Club for happy hour. What a wonderful choice. The bar is not big at the Cabin Club probably holds about 20 people. Because it is so popular with many regulars in attendance holding seats is not permitted. We were waiting for a third guest to join us but as it turned out that was never a problem. We found that the patrons on either side of us were extremely friendly something we had considered as an issue since the patron seem to be regulars. It's a very intimate warm atmosphere you feel immediately comfortable there. The happy hour menu although limited for food items had some great drink specials. And the drinks were well poured. We enjoyed our first drink leisurely and then ordered off the happy hour menu. Items ordered were the braised brussel sprouts, the roasted carrots, the salmon salad and the sliced steak. Three of us ordered the sliced steak appetizer and each of us enjoyed it equally . the stakes were perfectly done. Tender and very flavorful. Cocktails ordered included the Manhattan Noir, the old fashioned, and the dirty martini. We also shared a dessert the creme brulee. I definitely put this on the list of places to return to and I would absolutely recommend it if you're near the Crocker Park area and looking for a great place to relax. The dining room was about 3/4 full when we left after the end of happy hour.“
“The absolute definition of a true restaurant of class. From the valet, to the greeter, to the waitress, Julie, absolutely exceptional service. The presentation of the food automatically brings a smile to one's eyes. The seasoning and quantity you could tell was actually made with love. A chef who really enjoys his work. Thanks To all the staff“
“Very nice workers and atmosphere. The food was super good. The French onion soup is the best I've ever had. It was so good and worth the price. The ribs fell right off the bone and could've fed the whole family. The fries here are no joke. I usually don't take fries home, but these were worthy of an acception. The chicken tenders were fresh and juicy and so were the burgers. For appetizers, we got fried mozzarella and beef nachos. We could've lived without the nachos, but the mozzarella was yummy. They also had homemade chips and French onion dip that were really good. It was hard to pick fries or chips as a side. I would definitely come back here.Kid-friendliness: Kids menu with plenty to choose from.“
“Was super famished late at night and stopped by the Loco Leprechaun where the night never ceases to end! You can actually get food and drinks till 2 am. They place is super jamming with tunes and there’s a giant foosball table, a couple keno machines, and a golf center game. They have the best chicken paprikas around and the chef makes the entire thing from scratch using a family recipe. We ate 2 portions of the paprikas- that’s how incredible it was! Their house made doughnuts were incredible- they have powdered sugar and cinnamon and a baileys frosting available! Pretty fun place with late night food.“
“Love Sweet Basil pizza! It's always so delicious and the ingredients are extremely fresh and of high quality. Everyone is friendly, warm and welcoming especially the owner, Dan! It's fun to watch the pizza dough being skillfully thrown in the air as they shape it.... it's a show in itself. Love their salads too! Everything is clean and the game room is fun for the kids. The only problem I have is trying to decide which ingredients to get on my pizza, they're all so good. My mouth is watering right now just thinking about it. Every single trip to Sweet Basil is outstanding and we're always looking forward to the next time.“
“My husband and I tried Urban Grill for dinner, on a Saturday evening. We got there about 6:15 and thankfully only had about a 10 minute wait for a table. Our hostess and server were both very courteous and professional. My husband was excited to find out that Shrimp and Grits, his favorite, was the evening special. I chose the AJ Burger and fries. The food came pretty promptly. My husband enjoyed the flavors of his Shrimp and Grits. And my burger was done medium, the way I requested. Neither dish came out very warm. The food and service was good. But not necessarily something I would go back for. A good place for a quick bite. But nothing that sets them apart from the other restaurants in the area.“
“This is located in the Doubletree hotel and it's pretty big. They have a back seating area that can host a big party or meeting. It's pretty quiet but can get loud since the pool is not to far from the restaurant. The menu is has a lot of different option. I opted for the crispy half chicken and it was huge! Lost of veggies and the chicken was fall off the bone! It was very cooked perfectly but did lack a little in taste.“
“We easily booked reservations for two for Saturday night, even though we called Saturday at noon. We requested the Beef Wellington when booking the reservation, and there was exactly one left when we arrived so maybe they saved it for us. We were seated immediately upon arrival, at a cozy (but tight) table near the fire. The wait staff was friendly, albeit a bit inattentive. There were a lot of people in the restaurant when we arrived, so I think that contributed to it. Also, there were quite a few challenging guests. I'm sure that put them on edge. But we were accommodated well enough. Thanks Olivia. I especially appreciate her arranging that virgin Moscow Mule. It was absolutely fabulous. It seems that the bar can certainly make a good cocktail! On to the food. My wife's beef wellington was delicious. The flavors were spot on and the pastry was perfectly baked. The steak however was a little overcooked. It was more medium, than medium rare. Fortunately, the meat was clearly well selected so it was still tender. My duck on the other hand was not good and I strongly discourage ordering it. It would have benefitted from slightly less time in the oven. The crispy honey glaze was underwhelming. Quite frankly, the dish lacked flavor. I’ll the pork next time.Overall our experience was a positive one, and I feel confident about recommending it. This is a place that has a good atmosphere but doesn’t make too much fuss about itself. It stands on its food and it stands well. Based on the rest, I think the duck is an outlier and not a true representation of their quality.Parking: The parking lot is a little small for all the people they can accommodate in the restaurant.“
“THE FOOD WAS SO BUSSS. The cheese literally melted in my mouth. it took literally forever to get the burger. We waited for 15 minutes for our burger and it wasn't even busy but then when people started rolling in there came out faster than ours. The place was cute but it just had a bunch of wrappers everywhere“
“I am most pleased with my experience at the Cheesecake Factory. It was a grand time, albeit had a rocky start. The food and service were astounding, except for when we were in the seating process. Me and my party were requested to follow our waiter to our table, except we had to stand by it whilst another employee set the silverware for the table, and even with the extra time spared for this inconvenience, they still managed to forget to set out my silverware. I honestly could have done without the utensils though, as they were stained and covered with various unknown marks, as well as my knife which had a fingerprint impressed upon the base of the blade. The salt shaker, which I was going to use for my fries, was dented and the cap was nearly unscrewed completely. But I was lucky enough to observe this before any trouble occurred. Other than these poor circumstances, the food was most delectable and service was superb. I would highly recommend an evening here to douse you and the rest of your party’s famine.“
“First time in years since I have been here. Food and service were as I remembered. Good food at decent prices. Service was not too bad and portion sizes were good. This is a typically busy place and one that we have always enjoyed going to. If you have the chance try it, you shouldn't be disappointed.“
“Understaffed at the bar on a Friday night. bar server with full bar and she's also serving tables. 15 minutes to get served... and she's also getting drinks for the waitresses... and she didn't have a clue as to why we left... G.M doesn't have a clue either, as you wouldn't allow poor service to exist in your establishment on one of the busiest nights of the week - we took our $165.00 for dinner and drinks elsewhere where service was great ??“
