“This is a nice restaurant that exceeded my expectations. I went here and was satisfied with my experience. I walked into here and was seated in a booth, which came with complimentary tortilla chips and salsa, which tasted good. I ordered the burrito de la diabla, which is a spicy burrito with chorizo and beef inside with a side of rice. The burrito wasn’t very spicy, but it tasted quite good nonetheless. My booth had a bottle of hot sauce with it, which was much spicier and added a lot of flavor to my meal. After having this hot sauce with my meal, I left, satisfied with my experience. I gave this Mexican restaurant five stars because it has tasty food.Parking: There’s free parking around the restaurant.“
“My Wife and I went to Mahle's Friday the 22nd for our 38th wedding anniversary. because we were eating early we didn't think we would need reservations but upon arrival we were told that with the walk-ins they had and the reservations on the books they were full. We mentioned to Beverly that we had traveled a considerable distance, upon hearing that she found us a perfect spot in the corner of the back dining room. “Visited Cabin Club for happy hour.What a wonderful choice. The bar is not big at the Cabin Club probably holds about 20 people. Because it is so popular with many regulars in attendance holding seats is not permitted. We were waiting for a third guest to join us but as it turned out that was never a problem. We found that the patrons on either side of us were extremely friendly something we had considered as an issue since the patron seem to be regulars. It's a very intimate warm atmosphere you feel immediately comfortable there. The happy hour menu although limited for food items had some great drink specials. And the drinks were well poured. We enjoyed our first drink leisurely and then ordered off the happy hour menu. Items ordered were the braised brussel sprouts, the roasted carrots, the salmon salad and the sliced steak. Three of us ordered the sliced steak appetizer and each of us enjoyed it equally . the stakes were perfectly done. Tender and very flavorful. Cocktails ordered included the Manhattan Noir, the old fashioned, and the dirty martini. We also shared a dessert the creme brulee. I definitely put this on the list of places to return to and I would absolutely recommend it if you're near the Crocker Park area and looking for a great place to relax. The dining room was about 3/4 full when we left after the end of happy hour.“
“We easily booked reservations for two for Saturday night, even though we called Saturday at noon. We requested the Beef Wellington when booking the reservation, and there was exactly one left when we arrived so maybe they saved it for us. We were seated immediately upon arrival, at a cozy (but tight) table near the fire.The wait staff was friendly, albeit a bit inattentive. There were a lot of people in the restaurant when we arrived, so I think that contributed to it. Also, there were quite a few challenging guests. I'm sure that put them on edge. But we were accommodated well enough. Thanks Olivia. I especially appreciate her arranging that virgin Moscow Mule. It was absolutely fabulous. It seems that the bar can certainly make a good cocktail!On to the food. My wife's beef wellington was delicious. The flavors were spot on and the pastry was perfectly baked. The steak however was a little overcooked. It was more medium, than medium rare. Fortunately, the meat was clearly well selected so it was still tender.My duck on the other hand was not good and I strongly discourage ordering it. It would have benefitted from slightly less time in the oven. The crispy honey glaze was underwhelming. Quite frankly, the dish lacked flavor. I’ll the pork next time.Overall our experience was a positive one, and I feel confident about recommending it. This is a place that has a good atmosphere but doesn’t make too much fuss about itself. It stands on its food and it stands well. Based on the rest, I think the duck is an outlier and not a true representation of their quality.Parking: The parking lot is a little small for all the people they can accommodate in the restaurant.“

They were going to seat us in the back of the restaurant, my wife reminded them she had asked for a seat with a view, found us a great table. Service was excellent, knew all the dishes and made great recommendations. Food was great, past the test, can’t make it at home or better. Scallops cooked perfect. Oyster Rockefeller was done well. “The first 3 times I came in and had dinner, I'll be honest, I hated it. Food wasn't hot, it was eh boring. I came again recently and it was probably the 2nd best Mexican meal I've had anywhere. One thing that has been amazing each time is the salsa' phenomenal. The guac is so good as well. Being that we live 2 minutes away and it was so good this last time, we are going to come again. “Excellent atmosphere and food. There appeared to be some confusion among the servers on several occasions on issues I couldn't discern. Plus, they also appeared a bit harried at times too. As well, the service was a bit "uneven" on several occasions during the meal. And, more specifically, when my table was cleared between courses, silverware was not automatically replenished. Plus, there were noticeable gaps in getting my table cleared between courses.“
“I travel frequently and always search out Indian cuisine. I stumbled across this little place quite by accident, the small parking lot was full so I figured the local people knew something. That’s a serious understatement, this place stands toe to toe with any Indian Restaurant I’ve ever been in, and I frequent Indian Restaurants all over. My work takes me to different areas, so I think I have experience with different cuisines. This place is a real treasure, if I lived closer, I would be a regular. I encouraged the owner to open a branch in my small university town, but he’s got a jewel of a restaurant right here. Take my word for it, hands down one of the best dining experiences anywhere!“

“I have come here multiple times over the years and the food is always great. I recently had my wedding rehearsal dinner here and wow, the food was absolutely phenomenal. The lobster tails were SO extremely sweet and just absolutely fantastic. I will probably be coming here more often after that meal! The staff made having a private party very easy and made custom menus for me with the food offerings of the night. We also didn’t have to pay a fee to reserve like some other places. Be cautious booking the private room upstairs though - it is very tight for 20 people and it was super hot and stuffy! We probably should have just stuck to the dining room area or the pub“

“This is our favorite Chinese place. I love noodles and they have a good variety of noodles. Lo Meij, Chow Fun (dry), etc.This isn't the typical Americanized Chinese where most entrees are in either a sweet orange sauce or a bland white or brown sauce. This is much more in line with authentic Chinese and each dish has its own unique flavor. My favorites are the Sea, Wind and Fire and the Blackened Steak for meat entrees. The beef is also higher quality than many typical Chinese restaurant.For vegetables, I'm not a huge fan of the texture of eggplant, but I love the Chinese Eggplant and how it's prepared here. The Chinese Broccoli and Bok Choy are also good options.If you are dining there, the experience is pleasant. The place is tastefully decorated and the bathrooms are clean. But like most places, they can use a little more help on the service side. However, it's clear everybody is working hard and it's not a problem unless you are just trying to get through your meal quickly as possible.“
