“Jason and his wife are the absolute best. I can tell whenever Jason cooks because of the taste of the food. You can tell that it’s made with love. Not saying that it isn’t always good but you can tell when Jason add his magic touch. The only thing that I hate is that they are closed on Mondays. The food is always fresh and plentiful. The prices are very reasonable and I always have leftovers from one meal. They no longer have dine-in but that doesn’t stop them from having a spotless restaurant. Although there are so many options on their menu, I normally order the chicken and mushrooms because it is so addictive. They have the best crab Rangoon that I have ever had, and I’ve had tons from different Chinese restaurants. If you haven’t had the pleasure of dining here/ takeout….you are definitely missing out. “Enough cant be said about this spot. Definitely the best Chinese food we've had in NE Ohio by far. Expectations were high seeing they were boasting being top 100 in the USA but I get it. Everything was made fresh and came put piping hot. The chow main was fantastic even though we meant to order the lo mein (which was also fantastic, it's the best I've ever had). The egg foo young was perfectly cooked and the chicken with garlic sauce had the perfect balance of chicken and veggies. Dining room is clean and service is quick. Will definitely be returning soon.“
“The food was hot and tasty. Our server could not have been sweeter, she clearly wanted to be there. But even though this place has a giant dining room it's mostly unused. Lots of carry-out orders were picked up while we were there. They use Grubhub too.“
“This is THE Chinese restaurant in the area. Always amazing food, always kind, always a treat.Parking: The parking lot is used for all the buildings businesses. Sometimes it’s easy to find a spot, sometimes it’s filled. But at the moment this is a takeout only restaurant so it works.Wheelchair accessibility: The side of the building is even with the parking lot, but there are two manual doors to get through. Going it alone in a wheelchair could be a small issue, but doable.“
“Hunan East hold a special place in my heart. My whole family would eat there since I was very young and the food is always delicious and cheap.Much of the menu leans American-Chinese UNLESS you ask for the BIG menu. The little yellow take-out menus are TINY in comparison to the big menu!The staff is always happy to serve us traditionally made food if we asked! My adoptive parents are not Chinese, but the staff was always so warm and kind to my family as my parents explained that they were trying to find places with traditional food for my sister and I to try. They start off all dishes (even the ones marked spicy) as pretty mild compared to what was explained to me as "Hunan spicy" if you're adventurous!The food is well-priced and you get HUGE portions. I no longer live in Cleveland but I always make a point to stop by Hunan East to get lo mein, general tso's, steamed dumplings with a rich meaty filling and thick-chewy dough, and see the same wonderful and hardworking owners.I love you, Hunan East <3 and so did my family when we lived in Cleveland.“

“I ordered the shrimp pad Thai and it was the best I have had. The shrimp was so fresh. The best shrimp I have had from a Chinese Restaurant. My mom’s peppered steak looked amazing. She said the beef was very tender and of quality. Our waitress Amy was phenomenal. We have ate there twice since they reopened and all I can say is what a huge difference from before. I hope they continue the excellent service and the excellent quality of the food. Love this place even more.“

“This is strictly s take out operation. In many ways much like so many modest, probably family run, but always good food. China Mountain ll didn't disappoint. We had Kung Pow Chicken, Chopped Suey and Beef Broccoli that were ample enough that we have plenty for "breakfast".We would recommend this place.
