Came here about a year ago to use a gift card we had as we do not live in the area, as we came to the the counter, the girls told us their gift card machine was not working. So now, a year later we are in the area again so I call to make sure their gift card machine will be working and no one picks up the phone. We drive over anyway, Google says they close at 5pm their website says 6pm, we get there at 445pm and the place is completely dark. Uhg, this place has unfortunately been a bust for us.

It’s real close to the house, walking distance. Only thing I would like for them to stay open later other than that it’s a pretty cool

I love common goods but it’s always so cold inside so it’s not easy to relax and get cozy or focus if you come for study. The coffee and food is great it’s just not cozy for a coffee shop.

I normally come here and this place usually has came through with customer service. I stopped by today around 9:50 a.m. and I ordered the vegan apple sausage quiche to go. The girl who waited on me gave it to me just in the container on the counter, so I had to ask for utensils and also a bag to place the food I'm. Needless to say I had to ask for a bag, and then there was no utensil and then she put that in the bag. I had an appointment so when I pulled it out no napkin, and my food was never heated it was cold. I ate it but when I had it before it was always heated. I called back and asked to speak to a manager and and she answered and said she was the manager. She/Allie admitted to waiting on me when I told her my complaints she said well you did receive the bag and the fork so that's good, right? I said no its not because I didn't receive a napkin nor was the food heated it was cold and it took away the way I would really wanted it. Very disappointing in the food today and especially her customer service skills as being a "manager"Dietary restrictions: I am diabetic and a heart patient

Not a family friendly place and it has bad service.I've been here twice and both times there has been a line of people to be served while a single person waits on the customer then proceeds to make the drink order, meanwhile the other worker has her back to the order line and is emoting with someone at the counter about "comfort zones" and "safe spaces" or something. When you're standing in line you get to be treated by looking at their merchandise with vulgar and inappropriate phrases and measages. Definitely not family friendly. The coffee was okay but nothing better than what I could have got at Dunkin' Donuts up the street with better service and less baggage.Kid-friendliness: NOT KID FRIENDLY

This place seems to have potential! The drinks are good, but the food is limited. Usually the food is sold out or not available very early on in their hours. The hours are limited but they carry small businesses to shop which is awesome! I recommend stopping in to shop for sure! I would love for this business do well.

This place is great!I went in randomly one day, and ordered a cappuccino and an apple cinnamon muffin. I actually didn't realize their menu was entirely vegan, so suffice to say, I was a little confused when my order came up and they called it a soy milk cappuccino.Even so, it tasted exactly as good as I was expecting, and even though I'm not vegan, I wouldn't be able to tell the difference between one made with soy milk and one made with cow's milk. The barista also did a nice bit of leaf artwork with the cream on top. The muffin was very tasty, too, and they offered to heat it up for me, which was a nice touch. The entire shop has a nice relaxing vibe with some fancy decor, art on the walls, and some big windows that let a lot of sunshine in.Prices aren't too bad, either. Definitely cheaper than Starbucks or Dunkin and the coffee is much more expertly brewed here than those chain shops.Definitely recommended if you're looking for a nice place to relax with a cup of coffee and perhaps a treat on a breezy afternoon.Vegetarian options: Their entire menu is vegan, so it's perfect for vegetarians.

The table set up was great. There were a lot of outlets to be able to plug in at. They were in the middle of construction though and it was very loud to be able to work there. Also, I had a $7 latte and I took one sip. It tasted like the espresso was not done right. There are some cute items to buy. But many of them had the F word all over them and there were also witchcraft crystals for sale. Overall I give it a 3.5

Nice looking place, but the barista, young black female was more interested in a conversation with her co-worker than getting my drink ready. I'm the only customer in the place at 08:24AM. Every table is free. Customers first. Then back to your conversation with your co-worker who is clearly leaving.

Common Goods is a very cool coffee shop in Youngstown with great vibes and a cool ambiance. The coffee itself is out of this world. Their flavors and syrups are all homemade and you can really tell. The Sriracha Everything bagel is also very tasty and unique. My ONLY gripe is that (depending on the barista/day) it can take a very long time to get your drink. I wouldn’t recommend stopping in for a quick “to go” coffee if you have somewhere to be. This isn’t the case every time… but it definitely happens more times than not.

Fantastic female own and ran business. There is a wide selection of home goods, trinkets, and clothing. The food provided is vegan and healthy! This business hosts local events and helps the community have a fun and safe place to gather. Caleb was extremely friendly and there is always great service here. Perfect place to take a group of friends to chat, do some solo office work, or take someone on a casual date. Modern progressive cafe vibes.
