“This was by far one of the best Mexican meals I've had here in Bartlesville. I was very surprised how amazing the food tasted. Like the seasoning was spot on for our dinner. The chicken dinner my husband had tasted amazing as well to us both. The salsa was amazing as well. I don't like places that taste like tomato sauce. I am extremely picky on my guacamole & how it's made. I hate tomatoes and onions in it and this place did not have either in it. It was the best guacamole I've had in Bartlesville. I will even go further to even say this was the BEST Mexican I've had here in Bartlesville. A lot of the other places it's way too salty and wasn't edible but this place everything was perfect and again the seasoning was spot on. The service wasn't bad at all. We got seated fairly quickly, and the food came out very quickly as well. It's a really nice place. Very clean and not loud like some places. Very nice atmosphere. You definitely must try this place out. I had the chicken & beef flauta dinner and it was absolutely amazing. Everything tasted so good. We will definitely be back!“
“No wait on Tuesday night at 8:00 pm. Lite textured Chips and salsa came out to the table. The fresh made salsa was in individually carafes with foil tops. The house treated us to tasty queso sauce with our chips. The green sauce on the fajita enchilada platter was tasty. The red, not so much. The chicken fajita salad was pretty basic. Lettuce, tomato, avocado, and a mildly flavored grilled chicken. I had to ask for dressing. The brisket burrito was the star of the table. The beans on that entrée were very warm temperature wise. The salmon platter was lovely but overcooked. The vegetables on the salmon planter were seasoned well for frozen vegetables. We ate everything, the plates were clean. I would return for the brisket burrito. The bathroom was very clean. The server was a darling very attentive.“
“I don't know why I waited so long to try it, but I'm mad that I did! Loved everything about this place! Food was great, service was great, very clean & friendly. I tried the Fajitas & loved them.Best Mexican food in Bartlesville! Go try it if you haven't yet!“
“Such amazing and inviting staff, always well waited on and most importantly they keep the chips flowing ;) my personal favorite is the flan, the most decadent, rich, and delicious dessert I've ever tried. I am not the type of person to usually get dessert at restauraunts but I will literally drive an hour and a half just for the flan y'all. Trust me, try it. For food you can't go wrong with anything, they have the classic mexican and tex-mex staples, but I always get the tamales.“
“The flauta and beans lunch was fantastic, good flavor and crunch on the chicken flauta. Beans had great flavor, didn't seem to be from a can and didn't just puddle up on my plate looking sad. Had substance and good texture.Great service too. The staff was friendly and kept me checked on. Didn't mind me stumbling through and trying to practice working on my Spanish with them.Saw they had margaritas on the ready and on special 2.75/each, but I was on the clock and had to drive so I didn't get a taste, but i'll try that another time.“
“We love Abelardos ❤ It is authentic Mexican not tex-mex so you should know that and set your expectations accordingly!! With that I've had many things off the menu, and portions are plentiful and it's always so tasty!! The people that work here are always so pleasant and carry on like it's a family business! Taco Tuesdays are always yummy and even though they are busy, food is fresh and hot. The picture I posted is from Monday's special where you get 3 tacos and a drink! 5 ? from my family!“
“Great Mexican restaurant.Very decorative of Mexican themes.Very clean and well kept. The staff was very friendly and helpful.I ordered the steak fajitas from the lunch menu. The portion size was perfect. Flavor was great. It came out extremely hot. Salsa had great flavor but was not spicy.Overall a very pleasant lunch.Would visit again.“
“I quit going to Monterey’s in Bartlesville about a year ago because the food was disgusting. I decided to stop in a couple weeks ago after I heard they had made some changes to the kitchen staff, I will say I was very impressed and the food was delicious! I have since been back two other times and it has been great each time!! I think it would be nice to see a new paint job in the place, it’s pretty dated but other than than great food and great service!“
“I tried tacos Maria for the first time. Typically when I eat authentic Mexican food, I go for the tacos al pastor. Unfortunately, it's not the best taco I've ever eaten but at the same time it wasn't the worst I've ever eaten, I'm originally from Oklahoma City and Southside Oklahoma City is hard to be when it comes to taco trucks and street tacos. In any case, the waitress was fantastically good at customer service. She went a step further to ensure that I enjoyed my meal, and I most certainly did. I like the atmosphere however there's not any televisions that I can recall. They do serve Mexican Coke. And they have a large variety of food.“
