“Went here the other day for the first time because we were on that side of town and aren’t over there often. Dude! I’m headed back tonight for dinner! My wife had breakfast with eggs and chorizo and I had the birria tacos and they were the best I’ve ever had! They had cheese in them and I haven’t had any like that, and just the best! The consommé had a delicious super flavorful flavor. Super nice people. Definitely go here if you are on this side of town or not!”

“It’s usually packed here, because it’s a famous restaurant among the community.I enjoyed the food, but they made a mistake of my BIRRIA taco, I asked for beef but they put lamb inside. I personally hate lamb alot ? and after I told them they wouldn’t change my taco but insisted saying it’s beef.Fajita is great, everything tastes on point, but I don’t think I’ll come back again.”

“We caught them open on the last weekend for the year. They will be back in January, and they are only open weekends. Everything we tried was amazing. I lived in NYC, and it was like being back there. The food is made with love and steeped in good memories. The Roti was hot and amazing. The chicken patty was crispy and full of goodness. The stewed chicken and pork, the curry potatoes, stewed vegetables, and rice were cooked perfectly. If you like exotic flavors, beyond jerk chicken, this is the place for you. Don't forget the pepper sauce. The menu includes something for everyone, including vegans. It's worth the drive, the wait, and the prices are reasonable for the amount you get. Definitely recommend.”

“Feels like an old pizzaria walking in (additional parking in the rear with a backdoor entrance), been family run for many decades now and if you're lucky enough the owners will be in and you can chat with them and their deep NY accent. From what I can tell, there are no "pre-determined" pizzas, you just order your size and choose your toppings (not unlimited toppings unless you want to pay extra). They do have a pretty good two slice and a drink lunch special, however be warned, if you want extra toppings it's not only an extra charge per topping, but also PER SLICE - adds up real quick. Pizza came out fresh and piping hot, flavor was fine, but the crust didn't do anything for me.”

“By the gods, it's like the taste and flavor gods of bbq and meat bestowed upon this place their blessing. I brought the food in my car and was instantly drooling from the smell that oozed out of the bag I could not touch, basically mocking me till I got home. I wasted no time opening the treasure trove and scarfing my face. The flavor was phenomenal,meat tender juicy. I cried tears of joy. My cats which have had no interest in ribs I've eaten before, were drawn to the forbidden meats and begged at my feet for a taste. I obliged and was met with happy meowing and the licking of chops. I ate all the food before taking a picture but it looked beautiful too.”

“Been living in the area for about eight years and just recently stopped in to try this great diner.We’ve visited twice now and have enjoyed both visits.The food is delicious and the staff is friendly!The owner stopped by our table on both visits and asked how everything was, shared the story of the restaurant and was very friendly!Our server was great! She actually remembered us on our second visit!My wife had the Reuben sandwich and I had a burger on our first visit. She said it was the best Reuben she’s ever had!On our second visit, she tried a chili dog and I had their “hog” dog. The “Hog Dog” is a bacon wrapped dog that is deep fried and served on a great bun!!Their fries are amazing and the onion rings don’t disappoint!The best way I can describe The Stray Dog is: it is EXACTLY the kind of Route 66 diner that you HOPE to find!Great food, great people and a great atmosphere!Whether you’re a local or just passing through on Route 66, The Stray Dog should definitely be on your list!Highly recommend!(Note: there is parking behind the building so if the spaces out front are taken, just cruise around back!)”

“Another great sushi place not too far from my house! They have a special menu on Tuesday's for certain but still a lot, signature sushi rolls so definitely check it out! It was very quiet and empty when I went but it was a little late in the day. None the less that didn't bother me. Only problem was that I ate my sushi too fast. I WILL BE BACK.”

“I had a delivery order of a hamburger and fries plus I ordered the 6 piece wings also. When I tell Yall the burger was off the chain! I don't normally eat my whole burger and I definitely don't eat in my bdrm...I haven't tried the wings yet but I sat here on the side of my bed and pigged out on the burger! The veggies were crisp..the whole burger experience was awesome! The fries were awrsome..I actually ate all of my fries. Thanks guys!!! You rock!!!!!”
