Our family planned a quick trip into OKC for a break from the norm during the Christmas break. I only had one request and that was a good local pizza joint that would be close to our downtown hotel. I did research and narrowed my choice down to “the heat pizza” aka “humble pie” which was 15 minutes from our hotel. First off service was excellent and very prompt. Best Chicago Style Deep Dish Pizza you'll find this side of the Windy City. Locally owned and operated and you can tell with the friendly & helpful staff. Prices are a little high but it's pizza and I feel like almost all pizza outside of CiCi's & Little Cesar's is high these days. Overall highly recommend if you like Chicago Style Deep Dish Pizza.

Deep dish isn't usually my bag, but I had a really great meal here with friends. Our server was friendly and efficient, and our orders came out just perfect. (Again, though, I'm just not a deep dish kinda boy.) Most pizza orders here take twenty to thirty minutes, so just be patient. (Your mama would be proud of you.)
