After reading reviews, I thought the food would be delicious and a good value. Nope. The fried shrimp and oysters were greasy. Both of those servings were very, very small amounts. The fried okra, sweet potatoes, and pudding were ok. Only menus were at the counter. No free water. I was only the customer and service was very slow and counter employee was not friendly. Since my bill was around $15.00 for just my small plate of food, I was very disappointed. I won't go back there...read full review
My 18 yr old and I stopped by for lunch for the first time today. The poor cashier was trying her best to keep up with the lunch crowd, while answering the phone and trying to get the cook to understand the order. She was very frustrated. The food came and my son got catfish instead of the Southern Fried Chicken he had ordered. The cashier/waitress politely picked it up, and then got into a heated “discussion” with the cook. I love their catfish! Sides get gross later at night. Atore itself is hot as hades- always. Idk how they stand to be in there for hours at a time. Regardless, I keep going back! Tons of food too. Huge portions
