Well let me start by saying this was my 1st time here. It was a random and spontaneous decision. When I first pulled up, I could see in the restaurant and there was a small family in there. Been coming here for 5 years when I am in Norman for work and always had a pretty decent gyro. The last several times though I have noticed that the meat is very dry. I realized on this last visit why that is. They do not shave the meat fresh with each order, they preshave it and then toss it on the grill to heat up when someone orders it. This place has literally the best falafel I've ever had in the US. I used to live in New York, and i genuinely prefer this to any of the top-rated (yelp, ny times) places I tried there. Maybe there's somewhere in Dearborn that's this good, but living in Oklahoma, I feel so lucky to have this nearby. Usually I'm a rampant carnivore, but this place is the exception for me. The tabouli is also unusually good, imo.
