“Paseo Grill makes outstanding food! My wife and I had such a lovely dinner in a semi-private booth and the service was top notch. Easily a top 3 restaurant in OKC and after our visit, we can see why. So many more things to try in the menu and we will most certainly be back!! Five stars!!!“
“We will be regular guest! If you have not tried Frida you are missing out! The kindness of everyone at this place is incredible! Our server Morgan was outstanding! The food was worth every single penny, fresh and incredibly delicious! The carrot cake that is vegan free is awesome!“
“A great restaurant in our book. The food was superb. I loved the lamb potstickers. Our waiter Blake was just amazing. His wine recommendations were perfect. I loved ambiance. The paintings and tapestry on the walls also need to be mentioned I had a wonderful dinner and evening.“
“They have good food, but it isn’t great!! In my opinion the sausage gravy didn’t have very much sausage in it. The biscuits are phenomenal though. The service was top notch and portion sizes are generous. If you’re handicap they are very handicap friendly and have handicap accessible bathrooms.“
“I visited on 4/14/24 and the server Carol Baskins was phenomenal. She was friendly, attentive and made sure my visit was the best it could be. The food was delicious and the atmosphere clean and inviting. Will definitely be back. Oh and make sure you get the Cinnamon Toast Crunch cheesecake.“
“As I am traveling through the area I found this restaurant that popped up as number one listing on my Google search in Oklahoma City. So I checked it out. The building itself is full of history and I love the fact the company that owns the restaurant has preserved its historic Art Deco design built in the 1920s. What was once a flowers shop is now home to a beautiful New American restaurant with excellent menu options. As a former chef I always look at the little things; the soup of the day, or their signature cocktails. If those little things are served well then you know the stars of the menu will also shine. Their cream of mushroom soup came out steaming hot which is an indicator that the kitchen pays attention and recognizes temperature control and etc. That was a good start. The soup was flavorful and the warm bread that was served aside, was a perfect match for a cold rainy day in Oklahoma City. That was followed by the main lunch course, the shaved prime rib sandwich with homemade aju sauce. The meat was topped off with what I think was a chimichurri blend of some sort, but it was delicious. Portions are large and we'll worth the buck.My only criticism is that I had to ask to be given a menu when I walked in and sat at the bar. Hence the four stars. It was in the middle of the day So I assume the shift change may have had something to do with that. But as soon as the menu was handed to me, they were very accommodating.I will definitely be going back if in the area again.“
“My husband celebrated his birthday at “Grey Sweater” yesterday. It was an amazing culinary journey to enjoy the variety of food from practically everywhere! We sat at the counter and watched the chefs prepare beautiful delicious dishes. I didn't know what to expect with a “chef's choice” menu; however since it was a special occasion, we wanted the full experience. From the moment we arrived, the entire staff treated us as special guests. Did I mention the food was AMAZING! If I could give more than 5 stars, I would. My husband and I are looking forward to another visit with Grey Sweater. And hopefully next time we'll get a chance to meet Chef Andrew Black. ✌?“
“Immediately when you walk in, you're greeted by Tiffany, who has an amazing personality and is eager to assist you to your table. Then she checked on us several times even though we had a great waiter... it was good to get all the attention without being in your face at all. The food is always excellent. Try the chicken and waffles. You'll thank me later. Wade“
“First time in today. Amazing food, LOTS of vegetarian and vegan options, amazing service. The lavender lemonade is SO GOOD! Very impressed to see the doggy menu too. Definitely on my lost of cool spots to take the fur kid. This spot reminds me of spots I'd find in Tampa/St. Pete, so thank you for making me feel like home!!!“
“We came for a Easter/Birthday late lunch. It was great!!! Sabrina did a wonderful job at keeping our drinks full and cleared our plates. She was awesome!!! The shrimp was hot, fresh, and tasty. In fact, everything was wonderful. Thanks again.“
“We were a little discouraged in the beginning because there was a line out the door. But the staff went over and beyond to keep the line moving, communicate with other staff members, and even entertained my friend's 4 year old while walking us to our table. Subrina, our server, was the icing on the cake. Aside from being attentive, her smile and personality throughout the chaos showed she really enjoyed making this a good experience for our little "family!" ♡“
“Great service and good. Actually, I’m not sure which one was better than the other.Salad, filet, burgundy mushrooms, clam chowder and a delicious Marg. Burgundy mushrooms weren’t my favorite but everything else was perfect. Not to mention, the atmosphere was relaxing and felt as if the room paired well with the menu.“
“I just visited Flower Child for the first time yesterday. The service was outstanding - friendly & helpful. The food was probably one of the better meals I've had in a very long time. My mom & I split a wrap and a salad. All ingredients were fresh & thoughtfully put together. I loved the clean, fresh, & laid back vibe. I highly recommend this place!“
“Parking: Paid parking just to the northwest of the place was affordable and easy to access the restaurant. Street parking Is a little bit more difficult unless you get lucky enough to park out front.Kid-friendliness: Def kid friendly my lil guy loved his food and couldn't stop eating the cheese curds!“
“Google searched on our trip from Nebraska to Texas. The food was EXCELLENT! We ordered the orange chick’n and the Mac n cheese. Both were great, but the orange chick’n was a 10/10! We were so impressed that we had to stop again on our way back. This time I upsized to the “loaded” orange chick’n so I had enough for the next day. We also ordered the bacon cheeseburger wrap which was very good too!! Great food, portions, service and price!!Parking: There were a lot of cars parked in the area so you had to park a little ways down the street. Not too far though.“
“Atmosphere is definitely the highlight for sure! Right off the lake and it has this cozy dark cabin vibe. We had the Mahi Mahi special everything was amazing. But the start we fell in love with was the deviled eggs and the veggie salad/relish that it came with. It was divine! Really wanted the bread pudding but they were out.“
“My husband and I recently hosted our wedding reception in the T-Room. Kayla and Kendall did a phenomenal job coordinating our event. Kendall was on site on the day of and made sure that the whole reception went beautifully. They communicated with us before the event to solidify all of the details. The cocktail bar staff and the servers who brought food out for our guests had perfect timing and all of the food and drinks were delicious. This was a once in a lifetime event, but if we ever have another event to host in the future, The Jones Assembly is the perfect venue. Our guests loved our reception and every time we looked over at people, they were smiling and enjoying themselves. Thank you for helping us make our day beautiful!“
“Bruce set me up with 4 tables of 10 each to accommodate my large 40 person brunch party. Everyone loved their drinks, food was on point, and the service was great! Bruce (the owner) came out to personally thank me for bringing my friends and also talked with many of the people on my group. Such a great guy and restaurant! I love supporting local business.“
“Wow, service and food was Excellent! Reuben was awesome. Okra and tots is cheese curds couldn't have been any better. Shawn you are the best customer service person we have come across in a long time. Go eat enjoy The Mule. No complaints whatsoever.“
“This place is amazing! We had the pickle plate and hot rolls with miso butter and they were so good! We shared the duck dumplings, potato salad, pork chops and pasta. We loved everything! I can’t believe we haven’t been here before. We will definitely be back.“
“Had the omelet and added ham and cheddar cheese. A little too much ham and hardly any cheese. The ham was just added to the folded over omelet after it was cooked and not cooked inside the omelet. It was tasty, and the croissant was very good. Lots of servers, but had to get our server's attention several times for refills, etc. Not a place to dine if you are claustrophobic as the tables are really close to each other. Diners beside us had trouble squeezing by to get to their seats.“
“Jimmy's Cafe, what a wonderful surprise. We went for the catfish. Jimmy's has all you can eat catfish. I just had the 8 piece plater. They have really good selection, but their rolls of so good and fluffy. I could have had that only and I would have been satisfied. They also have fried pies. Don't sleep this place.“
“Always good, my favorite place. Every meal is consistent from my last number of visits to the current meal. Whenever we start asking others where to eat, several suggestions voiced, all I have to say is what about Charleston’s. The vote becomes unanimous.“
“Hands down the BEST tofu tacos in the world. I've tried Velvet Taco in Houston before and so glad that they have one in OKC. It's just as amazing. Great portion as I was very full after two Nashville Hot Tofu tacos...100% will come eat Velvet Taco whenever I see a location!“
“We chose to celebrate my wife's birthday with a fine meal and a view. Vast fit the bill perfectly. We started with bone marrow and Cesar salads. Both are delicious. We chose to let the chef feed us his choice with the “dinner for two”. A well marbled, bone-in, 22oz ribeye was tender, juicy, and properly seasoned. Lobster tails were sweet, shrimp was firm, and the scallops were fantastic. A dram of both The Macallan 12 & 18 complimented the meal. And a slice of banana cake and the tawny port made for the perfect finish. Did I mention the view? We sat on the corner and watched the City transition into night. Thanks for a great experience!“
“Loved the food! I tried a few things and the jicama roasted beet salad and the creme brulee were the highlights!!! Absolutely topnotch and super memorable!!Vegetarian options: I follow a vegetarian diet and the menu has clearly labeled vegetarian options (about 5-7 dishes). Also, a couple of selections are vegan. I really wanted to try their hummus, but it was unavailable when I visited, but I reckon it might be amazing as all the other things I tried.“
“Good food shared with good friends. Charlestons remains a great place to eat. Our friends, each had the pork carnitas tacos, my partner had a steak medium rare, and I had the catfish platter with their amazing carrots and Cole Slaw. Happy plates all around!“
“Our server Seth was amazing, he gave us great recommendations for our meal and he was well versed with the different items on the menu. I love fresh oysters and often have a hard time finding quality raw oysters here in OKC but the oysters at this restaurant were definitely top tier. We will be going back most likely this week for happy hour.“
“Always love coming here for Friday lunch! Cheyanne has the best customer service and is quick with her orders. The rainbow trout is def my favorite paired with a Dos Equis michelada. Cheyannes hard work and urgency does not go unappreciated!“
“The food was ok. Queso was not melted all the way and became solid pretty quick. We hade 7 people and all said the sandwiches fell apart while eating them.I had shrimp tacos. They were good but small.Pigs in the blanket were great. The beer cheese was terrific.Nice atmosphere and the waitress was nice, fast, kept drinks full and spoke to us enough but not too much.“
“My wife and I went on Friday, 1/6/22. Apart from being a dining experience, this was also half art installation and half magic show. The food was absolutely delicious. Everything was presented beautifully and the colors and textures (and aromas) were quite pleasing. Each course was served by a chef or member of staff who explained the ingredients and flavor profiles. They were all knowledgeable and seemed, justifiably, proud of what they were doing. The chefs served three courses with ingredients I normally detest, butternut squash and beets. The winter tartlet and a savory custard both included the squash and they were amazing! The beet came with the tenderloin course and it was so smoky and sweet, I got a little verklempt.Because it's a tasting menu, the courses are smaller then an average main; we had the 10-course menu and left satisfied and very full. The Focaccia and the Tendeloin courses could have been a meal all on their own. I don't drink, so I skipped the wine pairings, but I learned that they offer a non-alcoholic pairing and I regret not trying it.The dessert course were life affirming. There was a Tea & Snack course with spiced beef tea and aebelskivers which almost made my wife cry (in a good way). The apple sorbet was gorgeous! It was like biting into a green apple, tart followed by sweet. The color and textures were beautiful. This was a wonderful experience. The staff were attentive and kind and seemed invested in what they were doing. The room is small, but I didn't feel cramped and had no issues having a conversation with my wife. Our seats were right next to the kitchen and it was a treat to watch the chefs at work.Standouts, for me, were the Sunchoke with miso and apple and the Bok Choy with tofu and mushroom. I was delighted with our evening and can't wait to return.“
“My husband and I took our daughter here for her birthday dinner, and the food was good, but the service was horrible, the waitress that we had, just checked on us once and we needed more ranch dressing and refills..it seems as if you're working for good tips, then you need to give great customer service and make sure that your guests are getting everything that they need, she's lucky that I even tiped her, from the service that we received. This generation isn't what is was, when I was growing up. Smh.“
“I always love this place.Parking: I always end up having to park a block away in a residential area to get here, because the parking on 23rd is bad anyway...Kid-friendliness: I took my toddler with us once and they were so sweet. There's a kid's menu and he got a crush, ie kept staring and giggling around our waitress.“
“Nice little diner for breakfast and lunch.. it's a tight fit in there so be ready to make it to-go... At least plenty of parking..We got our food pretty fast at lunch and was back to work after a few glasses of sweet tea with our meal..“
“So a friend and I went here for lunch. We were seated promptly and served water while we waited for our server. First I'll get this out of the way the service and the ambiance is fantastic and it's very relaxing and inviting, we sat outside and we were comfortable. Now the rest, so we ordered the street corn which was ok at best, the mayo in the corn had some kind off taste to it and the corn itself seemed like it was from an older batch. Next we had our entrees, I ordered the Enchiladas and my friend had the Asada taco and the Burnt End Brisket Taco. The beans and rice were ok not much to write about but the Enchiladas where strange and after speaking with my friend about his food we came to the conclusion that these dishes where thrown together with the thought that these combinations seemed Latin inspired or Latin/Mexican fusion without any realization of it actually going together. Textures were off and the representation of the food was disappointing. The Enchiladas are stuffed with Green and Red bell peppers, the same day old corn and tater tots, not even taking the time to actually cook some decent potatoes. The tacos were just a random combination of things that sound Latin or Mexican thrown together without knowing the textures and flavors would compliment the dish. All in all it was a great disappointment in the food. The drinks were great and the churros were ok. Hopefully they up their food standards soon and I'll give it another chance.“
“I'm never disappointed when I go to the Metro. I've tried a variety of meals. The Turkey dinner is excellent. I always enjoy the double decker BLT. The bacon is meaty and crisp. I stop in often. Menu has a lot of items. Can eat breakfast, lunch or dinner anytime.“
“The food is awesome worth the money and short wait times, the wait staff remembers your looks and what exactly you ordered and makes sure everything is clean and tidy, cleaning up seconds after you leave, its calm even during a busy day, but it's a bit loud.Parking: Parking is behind the building“
“We came in right at shift change. I thought maybe we were going to have to leave to go somewhere else but the night shift came on and knocked it out of the park. Seemed like it was a team effort. Like I didn't only have one server but three. We are visiting from Springfield. Thanks for the great experience!“
“FANTASTIC!! Friendly atmosphere, welcoming decor, excellent service, great variety of draft beers and the best hot wings I have EVER had! Husband had the Turkey/Croissant sandwich and loved it. Great location in midtown, away from the crazy parking challenges of Bricktown. Fair prices too.“
“It was beautiful! I’ve drove by 100x and had no idea it was right there. It was very pricing but the staff was Friendly and professional. The food was delicious. The food was timed perfectly and fresh. The only reason it’s not 5 stars is because another guest was in there got mad at me and my date for talking to loud.. they put 2 dates in 1 private dining area. I would recommend anyone to go for a date or special night.“
“After driving up from Fort Worth to attend Red Earth, we were definitely hungry for a Navajo Taco! The Press did not disappoint! The heart of this meal is fried bread, which is difficult to make. Their home recipe is amazingly tasty. Topped with bean and meat chili, tomatoes, jalapeño, and sour cream. Our waiter was both polite and prompt.Could not have been more pleased.Highly recommend you check this gem restaurant out!Parking: Abundant street parking.“
“Everything was good, but not great. Had the ribs, brisket, fried okra, and collard greens. The sides were good. The brisket was moist and had good marbling. Ribs were good.Went with coworkers because of location and hours, but there are way better options in the metro, especially for the money.“
“superb food! great service!! Everyone was so nice! Highly recommend! we met and did a blessing in disguise had 7 in our party! We were the ones blessed by the owner, dish washer, and waitress! Thanks for allowing us to come and dine with you! We will be back!!“
“First time custumer. Wonderful experience. Very clean restaurant with friendly staff that is Attentive. The atmosphere is calm with a bit of a early 90s feel. The food is hot and fresh and reasonably priced. This place is awesome in my book.Parking: Parking spots are a little small but alot of them“
“I thoroughly enjoyed my meal at Sherri's Diner. It offers beautiful a 1950's-vibe experience complete with hand-prepared menu items and vintage decorations all around the facility. I ordered the catfish special with half-order of onion rings on the side, and my meal tasted as close to my Mom amd Grandma's recipes. I will definitely be returning and referring!Parking: The parking lot wraps around the diner. There are 35-50 spaces in total: 10 directly in front, 10-12 on each side row, 6-8 behind the diner, and another row of 10-12 to the East.Kid-friendliness: It's definitely kid-friendly with respectful servers, nice music and colorful decor.Wheelchair accessibility: The servers moved chairs to accommodate a patron in a wheelchair while I was there.“
“The food was fantastic I had the bacon avocado sandwich and the chicken was juicy!! The service was outstanding great customer service here!! Very clean great atmosphere! The only thing was the floor is black and the have a small incline in the part we were seated. Should be a warning or indication I have a bad foot that doesn’t do well on slopped walkways. Would definitely come again“
“If you want a nice taste of Chicago, you are coming to the right place. My mom & aunt grew up in Chicago & haven’t found a spot that even came close to home. We took our family out today for my aunts birthday & she absolutely 10/10 loved it. All of our meals were perfect. Even the kids ate every last bite. Also we have a special needs kid & he was so relaxed here the ambiance is great. Chicago everything. We will be back.“
“The food was delicious. I ordered the c 1/2 baked chicken with mashed potatoes and glazed carrots. Had to take some home. Service was superb, and the manager came to our table to be sure everything was to our liking.Recommend Charleston's and rate them 10 out of 10Wheelchair accessibility: They rearranged tables for me to be able to stay in my wheelchair“
“I have to start off this review with Kellie. Kellie made me feel like an old friend as she welcomed me in and happily went over the food as it was my first time there. As for the food, I went with the #25 and the large order of mixed onion strings at the recommendation of Kellie. The food was cooked well and generously portioned. The homemade ranch that came with the mixed onion strings had a good consistency and went well together.I will definitely be back.P.S. Be sure to pat Bella-bot on her ears or head when she delivers your order.“
“From the appetizer to the entrées food was 1st class. Anton greeted us and was very attentive. He is very proud of his menu and tries to help so have you have a positive experience. If you like interaction and great food, this is your place.Everyone in our party had a different entree and they were all wonderful.“
