“Let me first start out by saying that the guac is LEGIT! I had the 3 enchilada dinner which was very tasty. My husband had the Burrito Supreme and completely devoured it. We also ordered the trio of chips with hot sauce, queso and guacamole. The staff is very friendly and the restaurant has a cool vibe to it. If we are ever back in Paul's Valley, we will definitely stop in again”
“Cute food truck with picnic seating. Prices are reasonable and the food was good. We had the al pastor tacos and you get a 4th one extra on taco Tuesday. The birria burrito was huge and very filling and they all came with a red and green salsa, both were very good.”
“Good country style home cooking! Delicious hamburgers with real meat ?Parking: You may have to park across the street or around a corner.Kid-friendliness: Wait staff very friendly and helpful.”
“We ordered pizza from here a couple weeks ago. It was my first time getting pizza from Godfather. My husbands love the pizza from here. We only ordered a couple pizzas with breadsticks and a mini pepperoni. The guy making our pizza was very friendly and although they were out of a couple things we wanted he was spot on with everything else. The wait wasn’t too long and the pizza was definitely delicious. We will definitely be ordering from here again!”
“The food was good. I had the fried green beans and the happy face roast beef with fries. Fries could have used a bit more pepper. The open faced roast beef sandwich was good. Fried green beans were good. Nice breading and not greasy. The waitress was nice just seemed a little tired. There was no kind of diner music to.match the decor. Could hear the heavy screamo rock music from the kitchen. The food was a little pricey for a diner but overall was delicious food.”
“Today was a good day for a Sunday drive. We went to Pauls Valley and found the Boomarang Diner in the original downtown area. We arrived in time for an early lunch. It was encouraging to see most tables occupied and we received excellent service. The menu offered a good selection of “diner fare” and we did not wait long for our order to be in front of us. The atmosphere of being in an older downtown building certainly added to the enjoyment of the meal. we will certainly keep this place in mind for the future when we feel like combining a meal and a short road trip.Dietary restrictions: The menu offered a keto burger with lettuce leaves instead of the bun.”
“Food was very good and fresh on the buffet, I liked the meat dumplings and the lemon chicken was delicious. Fried rice was good and fresh. Service was good and friendly.”
“The kids in here were the friendliest staff ever at any Starbucks. We hardly ever go because of the staff. If all were like the ones we just encountered, we would always frequent.”
“This review is for a specific pizza operator!:5AUG'23@2300EVERYTHING was closed or non functioning and my last call for hot local food was here. This beautiful spirit fired up the oven(after closed), kindly made a perfect pizza to my like-ing and even tossed in some buttery garlic sauce!!! If your far from home, need some care put into your food AND get as lucky as I did. You may just go to bed Tired & Full but you know at least in the taste of that pizza someone actually cared about your small request. Decent pizza that no one made while negative #powerofintention GodBless”
“Old fashion hotel restaurant. Concrete walls so lots of echoing. Everyone was very friendly, all the tables were clean and they had accommodations for several large groups. Even though they were busy the food came out fast and hot!”
“Ordered the three meat combination plate. I got the ribs, brisket, and tenderloin. It comes with Texas toast, I chose baked beans, French fries, and coleslaw. The tenderloin was dry but the ribs and brisket were amazing!Parking: Limited. It's located in a neighborhood so it can be hard to find parking if they are busy”
“One of the more authentic Mexican restaurants around the area. After living in SanAntonio for 10 years and eating in little mom and pops Mexican authentic places glad i found them food is excellent and portions are large price is fair.”
“I have no idea why the ratings are so low on this restaurant!Ordered the burrito split with shredded chicken. The flavors were amazing! Chicken was moist, and they gave a generous portion of sour cream and guacamole. Also ordered the chicken chimichanga. It was filled with melted cheese and came with rice and beans and a generous serving of sour cream and guacamole.Their salsa is unique with a sweet, garlic flavor with a hint of heat. I couldn't put the chips down! I highly recommend it!Our server, Tiffany, was super sweet and on top of refills.”
“They've cleaned this place up very nicely. Able to patronize them again. We missed going there. The salad bar is very good. A lot of choices on the salad bar. All you can eat”
“Arrived just after opening on a Sunday. It wasn't too busy but that quickly changed to a full house. The waitress was friendly and very helpful. The food was very good. I did the pick 3 getting pulled pork, Chopped brisket, and the jalapeno sausage. I had plenty to take home. Being from the north, I have never heard of a picked bar but it seemed popular with the locals. Glad I stopped!”
