I've lived in Ponca city for 8 years now and can't believe I've never been here. Everyone in my family has, it's just never worked out for me to go. Yesterday was the day! My son and I typically go out and eat lunch on Thursdays. He wanted breakfast, so I did some investigation, and found that Country Kitchen does serve breakfast all day. The breakfast buffet is the only thing o go for so I haven’t tried off the menu but I’m sure it’s good. Home cooked food just not at home. Service is what to expect from a small diner, if your glass runs empty it’s because they’re busy.

Went there a few times over the years after 2014 to 2023. Somebody had ordered biscuits and gravy from here in 2014. So I wanted to try it out. First time I went to try the buffet. That was not impressive. Just salad bar was buffet with flies flying around which was why no 5 star rating. Ordered the biscuit and gravy next I went there and it was tasty. I think they make it from premade ingredients and add cool or warm or hot water and heat it to make the gravy.
