“Well, it was a healthy meal until my wife spotted the cookies. The parking is a little tight, the small dining area can be a little noisy, the food is legit: fresh and healthy. Two wraps for us; the Baja Chicken and the Mediterranean Chicken, both packed with fresh ingredients and dressing. A heathy delicious option. And the outstanding homemade cookies….One Lavender and one Chocolate Chip. Our reward for eating healthy! This little shop has been in business for 50 years! I think they are doing it right!“
“The young lady told me that I would be back since it was my first time. I've been craving this place since. I had the chicken swizzle but added cream cheese(name it the bazar, ?) one of the best sandwiches I've ever had in 50 years on this earth. I'll be going back soon. Also the best blueberry scone on the planet!!“
“Great place to try a wide range of delicious sandwichesCustomization: Jay's allows for extensive customization, letting you choose your bread, meat, cheese, vegetables, and sauces to create a sandwich tailored to your preferences.Variety: They offer a diverse menu of meats, cheeses, breads, and toppings, catering to various dietary needs and preferences.Parking: suficiente lugar en el centro comercial“
“Nice little neighborhood place. I just had coffee with some friends. They had a nice selection of muffins and Danish. The coffee was good. You have to go up to the counter and order what you want. Free coffee refills but you have to go get “
“I went here the other night for the first time in a long time. They are open till 9 which is great. I got my favorite sandwich. The turkey bacon guacamole and I love their bread. I love that you can get 8 inches as the regular. It's the perfect size sandwich. It's good simple and always great option for under $10.“
“We called in the order an for some reason the lady on phone was rude an still has bad attitude with customers when we came she didn't listen to lady's order an when asked her nicely about she was rude saying she not going to deal with her anymore an all she wanted was what she orderd I don't think then arre me an my wife will be back again an I liked this location come here alot not after the cashier we seen tonight“
“Tip of the day…..Bring Cash! The P.J.’S Sandwich Shop couldn’t be in a more fitting location. It is well hidden. Inconspicuously tucked in the corner of a small suite of shops, and quite fittingly next to an antique store. Its setting adds to the ambiance. When you enter, the decor is noticeably reminiscent of little old ladies tea room. But it is not. It is well-established and well recognized for being one of Tulsa’s customer pleasing sandwich shops. Proof of the years of love and recognition hang on the walls.P. J.’S is a sandwich shop, as in “sliced bread” sandwiches, not sub style. Don’t let that lower your expectations. The sandwiches are fabulous. Somewhat like your grandmother might make, but much better. P.J.’S has the appropriate accompaniments for your sandwich: Cole slaw, potato salad, pasta salad, or chips. Their menu expands to meal salads, soups, chili. and you can do combinations of those offerings. Also, cookies and brownies!I had the Club which is advertised as P.J.’S largest sandwich. A triple stack of bread with ham, turkey, bacon, cheese, lettuce, tomato and mayo. There was no scrimping on the bacon. Chips for the side. Excellent sandwich. My wife went with the Chicken Club. Sliced, mesquite grilled, chicken breast with bacon, cheese, lettuce, tomato and mayo. Another very good sandwich! This is a rare, exemplary, little shop that has a dedicated following. Great friendly service, with a cozy neighborhood feel.Bonus! Pay with cash and you get a free cookie!!!! P.J.’S does take credit cards but, “No Cookie for You!”For other reviews laced with superfluous, time-wasting inessential information, sarcastic diatribe and subjective opinion, follow Spike S. on Yelp and Spike Speedwell on Google“
“I have been to this location numerous times ordering sandwiches to go and on every visit the staff has taken excellent care of me. They now know what we want to order and are happy to please. They are a pleasure to deal with and will even smile at my odd sense of humor. Well run with employees who truly seem to care. Thanks for making our Jersey Mike's experience at this store 'almost' perfect :)Dietary restrictions: Gluten Free sandwich for my wife, always on point.“
“Next time I will do it my way…Not Lenny’s way.You probably have to do a little experimenting here to make each sub turn out the way you like it. I tried the Italian Sub, Lenny’s Way. It was a mistake. The sub had a decent amount of meat: Ham, Prosciutto, Capicola, and Genoa salami. Lenny’s way has the typical mixture of salad components that you find on a sub, plus vinegar and oil dressing, and pickles. I added Pepperoncini peppers and the red pepper sauce. My mistake. I normally like all of those condiments on a sandwich, but it was too much for this Italian Sub. All that I could taste was vinegar. It took over the sandwich. After a few bites I raked off the peppers and the very vinegary pickles, which improved the sandwich. Now I know. Don’t order Lenny’s way, order it your way, with some of the condiments on the side, so you can figure out what works with the particular type of sub you prefer. My wife had the Tuna Sub. She enjoyed it. Lenny’s way worked on the Tuna Sub for her.Service is friendly and fast. The restaurant is clean.“
“Little tiny Sammy shop off 91st but it is so cute and cozy inside. I ordered the Italian sub with no onions. I felt it was a little dry as th egg only add oil but they suggested some vinaigrette and it was chefs kiss! The hubbs had the wagyu cheesesteak medium and it was a lot of food! Def recommend this place 10/10“
“If Brian can go viral…..lol! I went here today and the line was to the door. They were so fast! What got me though is the elderly man and the owners exchange that took place in front of me. You could see the love in both their eyes as they shook/held hands. The elderly man walked away and I said “now that’s customer service”! He smiled and choked up when he said that man had been his loyal customer for over 14 years. You can really tell that the customers mean the most at this place and hey, the subs are amazing! Stop by and check ‘‘em out!“
“if you want a real hoagie sandwich this is the only place to get one. they make the best sandwiches in town. a truly original place with great service. sandwich made to order as you go down the line. bread is fresh and meat cut to order. it is truly a special place. Lora ally owned and operated you have to give them a try“
“This subway across from TU is always so good. The veggies are fresh, and the staff are always friendly and efficient. They made our foot long cookie fresh and it was so warm and delicious!Vegetarian options: The veggies are always fresh. No wilted lettuce or mushy tomatoes.“
“First timer coming thru!! I had the ham and cheese melt and the cheddar and broccoli soup both of my items were delicious. I will definitely be coming back. I would've given it five stars but I feel the prices were a bit high and also to be honest the staff acted like they were put out to be there.“
“I love this place! Great food, great service. Always friendly. They really care about the service they provide and it shows. I just love everything about this place. Also, they are proud to sponsor local high school athletics too. I think that’s awesome to see that they give, and I like to make a point to give my business to local places that support the community. This sub shop does that, and it’s worth going here for their great attitude, the local community support, the great food! Recommend you give them a try, you will love it!“
“Got the hubby his go to ham and cheese on white wth am extra side of creamy Italian that was one happy man let me to you! I tried something new this time a grilled chicken stuffed baked potato halfed it with my mom still enough to fill the belly. It didn't disappoint at all. So so so good would recommend to everyone! Easy on the pocket book as well!“
“The food was delicious and the atmosphere is like dining with old friends, very comfortable. I take my kids and the kids meals are really decently priced and they love them, especially the Mac n cheese! The staff is always friendly and fast with the food. The manager, Gray, is always walking around the dining room and even gave us a cookie ? I would highly recommend the sweet tea, it’s almost as good as grandma makes it!“
“Place could use a little bit of a spiffing up but other than that the staff was amazing the food was outstanding no complaints in any area whatsoever and I found a few mixed the southern sweet tea with the mango tea it's absolutely beautiful. I would highly recommend going here instead of across the street.“
“Who knew? I've passed these places all my adult life and never considered inquiring. Just happened to be on that side of town and stopped in to redeem a special offer. The service was great and the small Chicken Fiesta sandwich and drink hit the spot. They offer an Udi's gluten-free bun, which makes a huge difference since I'm intolerant. Overall, the menu offers all sorts of sandwiches including a vegan option which is nice. Each selection notes the amount of calories. They have kids meals with a choice of fruit and self-serve Coke products, with unsweetened and sweetened tea options. Good stuff, we'll be back.Vegetarian options: One specific option, would imagine others are customizable.Dietary restrictions: Gluten-free and vegan options available.Parking: A nice amount of spacesKid-friendliness: A few kids meals on the menu.Wheelchair accessibility: Curb is accessible and differently-abled parking is available at the entrance. Double entrance doors are wide enough to maneuver a wheelchair.“
“Jersey Mike's is one of my favorite sandwich shops. I love that they slice all their meats and cheeses fresh to order, and the veggies always taste fresh. On this last visit, my wife ordered an Original Italian, and I got the Club Supreme! The store is small, but has enough seating, as long as there aren't too many people dining-in. It's VERY clean, and the staff is pleasant. Since they slice everything to order, it does take a little longer than other shops, but it's worth it. Today, there was quite the line, and with only 2 people on staff, it was taking a while to get everything made. Great sandwiches, a little more expensive than other places, but I think you get a better sandwich. Highly recommended.“
“I was running errands, and another business recommended it. It's an older establishment, but they keep this place clean. A good variety of dishes to choose from. I ordered the gyros, which could have been seasoned a little more. But they were good. I would recommend this place to get a quick bite.Parking: Location is at the end of a small strip mall. Adequate parking space is available.“
“This is my favorite location! The subs are always spot on, but the employees at this location are top notch. They always have an upbeat disposition, they’re efficient, and they make it a point to treat all guests warmly. It’s such a breath of fresh air.“
“Purchased a foot long cold cut sandwich at the Subway Shop located at 48 street north and north Peoria across from The McClain high school. The sandwich made by the female attendant was exquisite. She was exquisite also; so friendly and efficient. I failed to get her name. She made the best sandwich I've ever eaten, and I've eaten many sandwiches from the Subway chains.“
“I like how attentive to detail they were when they made the subs I was ordering. Two of the subs were for my coworkers and I felt like I was being too fussy but they made them exactly as I asked and did it with smiles on their faces. The whole place including the restroom was clean. The clerks didn't just say Welcome In but really made me feel welcome the whole time I was there. I was in and out in less than 10 minutes, everyone there had a good attitude.“
“This was my second visit to the Subway located inside the Best Western Airport, and I will very much go there again. The food was fresh and tasty, the young lady working there was polite, patient, and efficient, and the store was spotless and inviting.“
“Though it is probably not the number 1 option to go to, I didn't really think to walk in, but was I glad I did walk in. The food was neatly placed onto my bread. The employees were working so hard, greeting everyone with a smile with some not smiling back, as we live in a world where workers are under appreciated, and greeting the customer as they haven't seen them in years, and they were an old pal they had never met. I saw a kid working the cashier, and was informed that he was the grandson of the owner! I love that! It is great that family is more important than a job, and that the kid loved his grandma so much. Great job with the business, Auntie! -Ibrahim“
“I'm not sure what that chick's name was but I know she was the manager and she was ruuuuuude! Her employee was helping a customer before me and she told the poor guy to move. She was super rude to me and seemed annoyed that I wanted to use my points. The entire atmosphere changed when she "took over" for her employee. She wasn't even nice about it. She wasn't nice to anybody the entire time I was in there. The whole situation was super uncomfortable....“
“We came with the kids and they loved their food. My son is picky and he said he would rate it a 10 because his food was delicious and he loved the toy sword. He said it tastes homemade (he had a burger and fries) I had a falafel gyro and it was great- even received a recommendation to add pickles, I did and it was really good. Husband had a cheesesteak and he is from Philly and enjoyed it.Would absolutely recommend and would come back for sure!Vegetarian options: Falafel, salads, rice, pitas, and more“
