“Saturday afternoon hungries? We enjoyed the Smokey Cheddar Bacon burger and a beverage. On the plus side: friendly and quick service; a tasty, sizeable patty; ultra clean seating area, and most importantly a bun that held together. A rarity at burger joints these days! The bun was the star. We appreciated being asked if we enjoyed our meal (host and chef was aware it was our first visit). That was a small gesture, and good for business. On the other side, it was a 5 oz burger and the price point ($12.90) was on the high side. But perhaps in keeping with the price creep on takeout burgers everywhere nowadays. Do drop in for a tasty break if you’re on the Bayfield corridor.“
“My only complaint was when we arrived it said we were in suite 2 but we arrived and were put into suite 4 which was not operating properly. I asked why we were moved from suite 2 and was told that it was because the gentleman that were on suite 4 originally were part of a league and play there all the time so because they were members they were moved to suite 2 that was working properly. My response was well that doesn’t look good for me wanting to be a repeat customer if that’s how I’m treated. However it wasn’t my first time being there either.I was told I should have been contacted prior to getting there that the system wasn’t working properly. We chose to stay at a discounted rate and fortunately for us the unit started working properly.I know a pointless review in the end however I didn’t appreciate being told that members had the upper hand in a situation like this and why was I told I could play on a broken unit when they could have done the same.In the end our server was great and we had a great time.“
“Decided to try this place on a whim because of the good reviews. It’s mostly a small take out place with a few tables for a fast lunch. Ordered the Peri-Peri pirogies in addition to my Thai Green Curry and service was very courteous and friendly. I also highly recommend bringing cash since their Visa machine doesn’t work too often. Wow! You will not be disappointed! The food is PHENOMENAL. The chef at this place is brilliant! Food flavours are fantastic with the perfect amount of heat and the consistency is light and non-greasy. I can’t wait to go back and try more! They have a crazy diverse menu and I personally can’t wait to sample the other dishes! ??? Also, please be patient and wait your turn when they get busy. It’s totally worth it!“
“Went on a first date, person I was meeting recommended we meet there that it was a good Jack's. Service was superb, thank you Shonna! Food was as good as mentioned to me. I recommend the chicken strips. I had them traditionally buffalo sauced and tossed, blue cheese dip on the side. Presentation was simple but pleasing to the eye. Salad could have been a bit crisper but was still a very well done romaine. All around great experience and I had wonderful company to enjoy it with. Thank you Jack's Barrie On.“

“Yesterday my mom and I went to Kensington Burger Bar Bradford for lunch and we had an absolutely wonderful experience. Our server Rachel was awesome. “Burger Royal does have really good food. I will give them that. But their service is terrible. I went in the other day and was told my burger would be 10-15 mins and it took them 28 mins to make just a cheese burger!!! Nothing else!! This isn’t the first time this has happened. This has probably happened 4 or 5 times over the last 7 times I have stopped in. Those are terrible averages. They only had 3 ppl working and they were clearly under staffed for being around dinner time. Not to mention there was no fifth gear they were all stuck in first gear. No hustle, just dragging their feet. It was sad to watch how slow they were for how busy they were. It was painful to watch. They clearly don’t care about customer service. I feel like when ever I decide to give them another shot its the same disappointment. Burger Royal is making it much easier to not go there even though they have good food, they really lack in the service part. Great food is nothing without proper and professional service!! I hope they can get their act together!“

“Drove by and decided to stop in for family dinner. Huge menu with lots of great choices. Very friendly gentlemen from Queens at the counter. I settled on the Pulled Pork Kaiser with Mac and Cheese wontons. My dad got the (huge!) chilli cheese Homewrecker hot dog and my mom got the Mozza Stick Burger with Mac and Cheese wontons. For dessert, we tried the apple pie wontons and the peaches and cream wontons. Everything was absolutely delicious, fresh and excellent proportions for price. Easily the best pulled pork sandwich I have had in a long time. Good atmosphere, fast and friendly service that has definitely encouraged us to return to try something new. We cannot wait to go back and explore more of the menu! Highly recommend!“
