Harbouside fish and chips is the best. Before Harbourside we went to Heritage and there is no comparison. The atmosphere is excellent and their food and service are extraordinary. They are the only fish and chip restaurant in Brampton that we would go to. They make you feel like family.
The fish and chips were good.When I walked straight in from the door towards the front I was immediately told I was in the takeout line. (There was no line).They charge an extra dollar to dine in ?.I thought with all the bags and napkins and plastic cutlery and wrappings and containers for takeout would be more expensive than me using a washable plate & fork, plus I tend to tip well when I dine in.I was the only one in the dining room so maybe they don't like to use it... Good place but not the best in my professional opinion folks! I found their batter rather thin and soggy in the middle sections, not cooked long enough or in oil too low in temp. Fish was good but smallish portions in both fish and chips, chips were good though not dried out or soggy as though they were actually cooked to order and not sitting around in a bin!
