“I think Hoseki Sushi might be one of the best sushi restaurants in the GTA. It’s also one of the best sushi meals I’ve had outside of Japan. The food is excellent and the price is very reasonable. Please open a location in Mississauga and Toronto :)“
“Have been going to bento box for almost 5 years now and it is by far one of the best restaurants I have been to. Their service is always fast and kind. The warm and welcoming atmosphere completely envelopes you and makes you want to dine in regardless of how convenient their take out is. I have catered from them multiple times and the quality is always amazing. If you are debating coming here I strongly recommend you do. Even if you don’t like sushi, try their dynamite rolls, very simple, great cost, and made perfect. Amazing restaurant.“
“Got the 14pc salmon lover, 4pc shrimp tempura and salmon avocado roll for takeout. Shrimp was surprisingly (short and thin), miso did not taste very good but it might have been because it was lukewarm by the time it was delivered and in a clear plastic container. The hand roll was just a piece of sashimi and rice with some sesame seeds, no veggies but it was good. The nigiri was small but very fresh and I like that the rice wasn't so much of a bite. The sashimi pieces were big and so were the maki rolls, well filled. The tempura shrimp dipping sauce was watery and flavorless. The food was well packed and you can tell, made with care. Overall, fresh food, great taste, clean, but I'd skip the tempura shrimp and miso next time. Would recommend overall!“
“My staples are the specialty rolls, such as the rocky mountain, kamikaze and volcano. Rainbow, spicy tuna and yam are also good options.Always make it a habit to come here as often as I can when I'm in the area. There is no place to sit down so it is just a takeout or delivery. The staff are always very welcoming and friendly.Parking: There's room for about 6 cars directly in front of the restaurant. I've never had a problem on weekends finding a spot during the afternoon.“
“One of the best, elevated sushi experience in the GTA. A hidden gem. We've been visiting this place regularly and it filled the gap after Skippa in Toronto. Reasonably priced (given the quality of the ingredients and the final dish) great quality of produce, great service and atmosphere. We did Omakase, lunch tasting and a regular sushi dinners and every time it was great, so quality consistency is top-notch. Some reviews say that you can get same quality and taste for less in the area - this is not true or a reviewer has a bad palate. Can't wait to come back again.“
“One of the best sushi places in Burlington. Family run - the owners are super nice and friendly. The food is amazing and the rolls are fantastic. One of the largest rolls I've ever had, and everything is always so fresh. It's our go to sushi place!“
“I went there for lunch with a friend and I ordered the Sushi Bento Box. The miso soup was very good, not the typical miso soup. The sushi tasted very fresh. Overall, it was an excellent experience. I will be back for dinner. Highly recommend the restaurant.“
“The food was delicious and came out fast. Service was amazing. Lots of parking available. It was a good AYCE experience. We placed our order through an ipad and was told that the allowed dining time is 1.5 hrs. This place only takes credit cards and cash, no debit. My favorite was the radish wrap sushi selections. They were so fresh and refreshing without the rice.Vegetarian options: Vegetarian sushi and rollsDietary restrictions: KETO, Gluten Free“
“This is extremely underrated. Living in burlington for a good 20+ something years I have never been and I was missing out. Friendly service as soon as you walk in the door. HUGE selection of Japanese and Korean meals. The miso soup they brought at the start was the BEST miso soup I have ever had, I licked that bowl clean. The presentation is A1, recommend getting that Phan Chan set to start(3 side dishes we go kimchi, sprouts and cucumber) my partner's winter set looked and tasted amazing. I had the Eel Donburi, and that eel was so tender I was cutting it just by gently picking it up. Great atmosphere, love the look and feel and they have semi private rooms! Will definitely be back and try the sushi next time; We saw some coming out and suffered a little fomo. If you haven't been here you need to give it a go.“
“I don't have sushi often, but this restaurant exceeded my expectations. The flavours are saucy and exquisitely blended, creating a sensation that left me craving more. The place has some bright and appealing visual with great service, that's a huge bonus for the dining experience. I highly recommend this newly opened sushi restaurant for anyone seeking a refreshing and tasty journey while in the mall.Vegetarian options: There were some veggie options, probably 5 or so with cucumber, carrot, avocado and some spicy variations. All look and probably taste great“
“To Chefman.I usually do not leave any comments to other people's opinion. However, I just have to in this case.First photo shown is the "5 star sushi place from your review" those 6 pieces are $13 and the dish is called "salmon avocado" it contains about 70% of the roll being rice, minced salmon which might be 5-10 grams of actual salmon as you can tell majority of what it contains is definitely minced onions, and about 1/20 of size 36 avocado.Second photo is from Sakura Ichiban. For 12 pieces "salmon avocado," yes, it is the same dish and the price is the same; $13! It uses minimum amount of rice, 1/3 of size 36 avocado, actual huge chunk of salmon, which would be 50-70 grams if not more.I strongly disagree this would be the shrinkflation, as any individual with common sense would agree avocado and salmon price is much higher than grains of rice. Not to mention the same $13 offer 6 and 12 pieces accordingly, which would already higher portion difference is doubledI would rather have more goodies inside than having huge portion of rice. Any objection?“
“Where do I start!? Absolutely amazing food and service. I wish we didn't live so far ?. Stopped in here for dinner coming back from Niagara falls on the way home to Toronto. It was about a 9 minute detour from the highway. The food was excellent good portion sizes. A lot of variety! The servers were very attentive and responsive. We even met the owner Nikki, who is fabulous to speak to. The deep fried Oreo pairs well with the ice cream, almost worth it just to come for that! The Teriyaki steak served on a sizzling plate was amazing too, almost melted in your mouth. Looking forward to our next Niagara trip so that we can come back with our family!!! Thanks Nikki and Co!!“
