“Since I started going here a few months ago, I have never been let down. I can always question the kind staff about the selections on the menu. In my humble opinion, Khoa is the go-to server because of his timely, proper, and fast service. The price is fair considering the quality of the food. Will definitely come back here.“
“Great customer service. Was very welcoming and explained certain items and differences. The prices were extremely reasonable and the food quality was amazing. Had some appetizers that were incredibly done and reminded me of home cooked meals. The red curry was good portion size and smelled fantastic. Highly recommend if you want the feelings of a home cooked meal!“
“Met a friend for lunch. I never tried it a mese cuisine. When they brought our food I was amazed at the portions they give. The aie of the soup bowl was twice the size of my head. The food was amazing service was great. Friendly staff. I will go back. And do recommend.Parking: 6 point plaza.“
“Pho kin amazing place ! The pho was some of the best I’ve had around here . The broth was deep, flavourful and perfectly salty. The only reason it losses a start is because of chicken . Even though the flavour was great the chicken was really dry .Will visit again and try other options.“
“We drove 5 hours to Toronto for a weekend break, arrived at the restaurant at 9:25pm. They showed their welcome greetings, settle everyone in a table with hot tea. Their hot and aroma pho soup was really a rejuvenation for us. They have a cleanest rest room, just like a home. Highly recommended.“
“Step into a world of tantalizing flavors at this vegan Vietnamese gem, where Vicky's warm hospitality elevates the dining experience. From savory pho to mouthwatering banh mi, every dish bursts with authenticity and plant-based goodness. Don't miss out on this culinary adventure – it's a must-try for vegans and foodies alike!“
“We went here for Pho after shopping at Square One and was blown away! Definitely a huge contender for my favourite pho and broken rice place of all time (and I come from Scarborough/Markham, land of pho). The variety on the menu is impressive, yet they never compromise on their specialty. Their crab egg was so umami, and you can definitely taste the BBQ smokiness in the pork and chicken cutlets. The broth is also darker than other places, and you can taste the different approach. It’s a deep and thick pho broth.Their tea is also specially imported from Vietnam, and served complimentary with dine in so be sure to check that out, too! As a tea connoisseur it was definitely very nice tea with a malty taste.“
“Was pleasantly surprised from what this little gem had to offer. Been hearing great reviews about this place and had to give it a try. Ordered the beef carpaccio with a side order of rice. Amazing and flavourful topped with a light salad on top. Made to share, or as an entree, I had to take some home because it was so much. Loved the flavour of the sauce mix with the meat. Great to eat with the shrimp crackers that come along with the meal as well. I recommend! Taro(Ube) latte ... yum!!!! Honestly thoroughly enjoyed this iced latte. Was recommended by our server to try it out. Not too sweet, but just the right amount of sweetness and caffeine kick that you need at your lunch hour, and complete a sweet compliment to your meal! Overall, great quality, service. Amazing selection. I'm am definitely coming back to this small gem again. Would highly recommend!“
“Came for a late dinner around 8pm on a Saturday night and we were the only people there. Ordered the vermicelli with grilled pork, beef and spring rolls. The portions are big and the meat was cooked well and quite flavourful, but I found the rest of the dish a bit bland including the nuoc cham sauce. Service was friendly but not particularly attentive, despite being the only ones in the restaurant we had to flag them down for water refills.10% off if you pay with cash!“
“Every staff member was very friendly and efficient. I got a warm welcome the second I stepped in. I ordered a chicken noodle soup which was very nice. The portion size shocked me a little. I ordered a regular but what I got was huge. I thought it was a mistake for a second. I enjoyed the broth. The price was also very reasonable. I will be returning to try other dishes!“
“So far the best pho ive had in the city. They have 3 extra sauces that make a great dip. They also have whole red chilis on hand and make a spicy addition to their already awesome pho. They are also open till midnight which is very convenient.Highly recommend this spot. Worth the extra drive for us.“
“I pass by here all the time and I’m so happy I finally stopped by!! The vermicelli with chicken and spring rolls were delicious! Very generous portion too! I want to come back now to try the other items and this time I’d sit down to eat for sure!“
“Usually skeptical about highly rated pho places after a bad experience at a famous joint that opened in Etobicoke...you can probably figure that one out. When I saw sweetness in the soup I was thinking I probably won't like it.The other reviews aren't wrong there is a sweetness to the soup. But it works and it's actually very delicious and not overwhelming like the other places.Definitely recommended will try sate and bone marrow next time.“
“Super cute Vietnamese spot in an unassuming plaza. My lemongrass chicken vermicelli bowl had a generous amount of well-seasoned grilled chicken thigh, and a good balance of vermicelli and fresh veggies. Iced coffee with condensed milk was a bit on the sweet side, but good and strong just like I like it. Great service, too!“
“It’s my third time coming here.Food: 10/10 - there are a lot of unique dishes that are being offered here (the pictures below) and the dishes taste absolutely similar to Vietnam.Service: 10/10 - very friendly, and unfortunate service. The owner was serving us and we were impressed with her hospitality.Atmosphere: 10/10 - there is a big TV which displays Vietnamese street and markets. I am very impressed with this.Parking: Plenty of free parking lot“
“This is the last place in Toronto with Banh Mi under $5. You'd be wrong if you thought you got what you paid for. I was surprised with the amount of meat and pate in it - alot! There are lots of varieties of banh mi ( i.e fried chicken, bbq pork, shredded chicken etc) that I will give a try next time. One note that the bun is on the crunchy side so if you like soft buns, this is not for you. They also sell rice as well but the sign is in Vietnamese, feel free to ask what is the special of the day ?“
“10/10, soooo flippin’ good across the board! My girlfriend and I were in the west end shopping all day and randomly stumbled on this place because we were starving and it was unreaaal. Definitely will be back! Quick and super tasty, thank-you so much again!!“
“Probably one of the best Vietnamese restaurant in Mississauga. Big portions and quick service. Place is clean. Our server was probably new as we had questions and he couldnt answer them. A couple of the cook were yelling loudly in the restaurant. Felt a bit sorry for the new dude. Still recommend as the food is good and will most likely be back.“
“Was shopping for my restaurant stuff and was hungry so decided to check it out the service is with a smile lovely ladies the pho broth is good and fresh shrimp roll yum my daughter loves pho and definitely like this one will return love from Jzoticfirekitchen ??“
“Had a great time at Konia! Zoey, our server, was super friendly and knew her stuff. She skillfully walked me through the menu, taking the time to ask about my flavor preferences to ensure the perfect cocktail choice. The Nirvana's Sunset cocktail she suggested was a real standout. Also the tossed beef salad was a delightful pick, filled with fresh ingredients and fantastic flavors. Konia's service and food were top-notch. Can't wait to go back!“
“The washrooms here are great. Lots of running water. The food is also fantastic! They provide a jug of tea.The service is great. The meat in the soup is nice and hearty. The portion sizes are large..for a big water , i couldn't finish it all even though it was so yummy.Would come here again. The establishment only takes cash or debit . Don't forget to bring those.“
“I really loved the sip sip yogurt in this placeFood : the drink was refreshing and delicious with small pieces of the fruit you choose very tasty. There was an offer, we got 2 for almost the price of oneService : the service was excellent and quick nothing wrong about itAtmosphere: a very nice place with a view on the street if you want to eat insideHighly recommended for drink lovers“
“I stumbled upon a hidden gem! There's something truly special about discovering those cozy, hole-in-the-wall spots where you can taste the love and tradition in every bite. Grandpa and grandma cooking often holds the secrets to unforgettable flavors and comfort food at its finest. Enjoy the journey through deliciousness!“
“Great appetizers! March 23/24- we came a bit more west to here and it didn’t disappoint! Most of my relatives came here for dinner and the food and service was an A but the lively atmosphere was an A+! The area was very clean and the price was fantastic!“
“This is such a gem of a place. The best banh mi I've ever had! I'm supposed to be on a bread free diet, but this is the exception, I can't stop coming back! The balance of ingredients is perfect and delicious, the grilled pork is perfectly seasoned, and the texture is sooooo good. The staff here are total sweethearts, they take a lot of pride in their food & service.Do yourself a favor and get the Banh mi with grilled pork!“
“Look at what we found at this store. I am now in trouble with my wife because she said they have everything that she loves. So far the beef jerky (khô bò) and Airdrie macaroni are delicious ?.Bonus: the lady and I believe her boss is very kind and nice“
“Second time there and she never disappoints. Only one in the kitchen and on the floor her hospitality is wonderful. Clean dine-in restro. And the bar opens at 10am. Looks small from the outside but big inside, they also play modern music. Menu is reasonable and filling too.“
“Really good pho that hits the spot, delicious and rich broth and piping hot. The amount of meat was adequate, but I can see why people would want more. A few more pieces would have been nice. We liked the new menu items. The Bun Cha HaNoi was really delicious, great charcoal taste, and fresh greens. I like that they have items that other restaurants don’t typically have. Prices are fair, and service is fast & accurate. I find the atmosphere comfortable, I actually like the music they play, classic karaoke hits.“
“Awesome place, when I moved here over a year ago this was the best possible find. They are consistent, clean, kind, and efficient. The food is always fresh and of great quality. I have never had a bad experience here, the only issue is that sometimes there's no seating because of how popular they are! Could not recommend more! It is definitely worth stopping in if you like Pho!“
“Clean, calming atmosphere, server had amazing positive energy, food was tasty and fresh. Will be going back!Vegetarian options: A separate section on the menu for vegetarian options; offer vegan broth for pho.Dietary restrictions: Lots of vegetarian optionsParking: Free parking on street after 6pm“
“Delicious food and good service. Plating is of high quality, the atmosphere of the place is clean, organized, warm and welcoming, as well as comfortable seating. Definitely recommend this place.EDIT (JULY 2022): I'm a long-time regular customer ever since the restaurant opened its doors and this place is still hands-down the only pho store that I TRUST with the broth. Everything above from my previous review remains true, although the service could be better though. Faster service would do, but other than that, Pho Real is truly "real" with its authentic pho broth, that is incomparable to any other pho restaurants within the GTA. This is also coming from a Vietnamese :)“
“I grew up here in this China Town, and my parents knew some people here since they use to work in this area, I seen some reviews before making mine and I see that this is a hidden gem, and honestly IT IS it’s so underground but prices and service is amazing, I got their ice coffee or Vietnamese coffee and it was great I want to see their business to be successful which I’m pretty sure it is but I love to see it become an amazing well known store, the owner was really friendly and energetic and I think he remembers me when I was a kid before too which gave me such a warm feeling. When it comes to rating I don’t really care how inside the store looks, because the drinks and food speaks for themselves and with that price, what else can you ask for.“
“I felt a bit left or forgot, since I'm not vietnaminesse looking, while everyone around were ordering, people that came at the same time like me, and others than came after me. I waited for at least 20 minutes to order my food, and the waiter was crossing many times to my table. My entries came as a dessert time. Rather than that, the food and taste is good, and the place is beautiful decorated.“
“My favorite pho in all of gta. The broth makes all the difference when having pho. They make it with great flavour and is not just water tasting like other places. The meat is fresh and portions are great. Fast service. I'm usually eating within 10min of arriving.“
“We went for dinner with my family for the first time and I’m SO glad we did! The pho was absolutely phenomenal and the spring rolls were delicious. Our server was so kind and even topped off my left over pho with more broth so that I could have a full lunch the next day. Overall a fantastic experience. We’ll definitely be back!!“
“This is some of the standout the dishes that we’ve tried. We are from Burlington but any chance we got we would try to make it there. We own a business too and it is a hard time right now to spend so much for eating out but really treat yourself with a good meal after your stressful or hard working day and support other business would make us feel so much better. Actually the price is not too high with such a high quality and tasty food. The customer service and the environment really make me feel like come have a meal at a friend’s home. The owners extremely friendly and seems very passionate with his cooking and serving. The staffs are all nice and caring. What’s else do you asking for. Highly highly recommended!“
“Exceptional Vietnamese dining experience! ? If you're craving authentic flavors at a reasonable price, this restaurant is a must-try. The staff goes above and beyond with top-notch customer service. I wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone seeking a delightful culinary journey. ? #VietnameseCuisine #“
“Delicious food - the curry pad Thai was amazing and would highly recommend. Fresh ingredients and kind service. The inside is cute with plants and decor which I personally love to see as nowadays restaurants are modernizing everything which leaves little room for character and charm. To add, this restaurant has been here for a long time and is a staple. If you haven’t tried it yet, what are you waiting for? :)“
“Friendly service with tasty food :”) We tried the Imitation Duck & Vegetable on Pan - Fried Noodle and the Veggie Salty Fish & Soy Chicken Fried Rice. The Noodle won us over and the Fried Rice was also delicious. The secret is that they have marinated bean curds and were skillfully processed to create a chewy and mouth-watering flavour.Honestly speaking, similar to what other reviews stated, the dishes are indeed pretty oily, however the green bean sprouts help balancing the taste so it’s not too bad. If you are used to Southeast Asian dishes then this would be right up your alley.“
“First time to get a Vietnamese sandwich. This is conveniently located at the High Point Mall, Dixie and Bloor. You can go shopping at Grant’s Supermarket if you’re into oriental food products. Parking is also spacious. I tried 2 of their sandwiches namely, assorted meat and meat ball. Very cheap at $5 each and really good!!! The bread is crunchy on the outside and soft on the inside. They have very tasty sauce… definitely worth it!“
“Absolutely love this place, I come here almost every week for lunch, during winter their pho NEVER disappoints. Vermicelli is also a great pick. Their protein choices are all great. Steamed Egg is the most unique but tasty thing I’ve had there. Honestly great staff and I always get my food within 10 minutes after ordering. HIGHLY recommend this place!“
“My family and I used to go here all the time, they have new owners now but they’ve kept the delicious flavours and authenticity alive. The Banh Cuon Dac Biet with the fried shrimp cupcake is so good, made so fresh. The Bun Mang Viet (bamboo and duck soup) is incredible. The sauce it comes with to dip the duck is full of flavour. One of my fave viet spots in Toronto.“
“Delicious Vietnamese cuisine with lots of selection. First time dining in at this hideaway restaurant. We tried the pan fried meat and seafood chow mein, grilled beef on French bread, baby clams with dried pancakes and Vietnamese sticky rice pudding with black eyed peas and coconut cream. It was sooo delicious! The restaurant opened from 4 pm to midnight on weekdays and 2 am on weekends. Their menu was full of delicious dishes. They also have a great selection of vegetarian dishes. The only downside was they only accept cash no cards:)Vegetarian options: Great selection of vegetarian dishes“
“My experience here is always amazing and always consistent. Definitely would recommend the deep fried pork spring rolls and I gotta say the vegetarian option is just as good. I always go for the #12 Pho special that has all the meats you need in a pho. It’s pretty much their house special pho and a Large fills me up just as well and perfectly every time. Sometimes I leave with some leftover for home. I come here with my husband all the time and a 10/10 experience. The lady that is front of house always has a smile on her face and enjoys seeing regulars for sure.Vegetarian options: They have vegetarian options for a lot of their dishes from pho, spring rolls, pad Thai and more.Parking: Always depends on the time of day and what day of the week. Could be spotty but there’s also a paid parking lot a bit north of Dufferin st. But still walkable to locationKid-friendliness: Very kid friendly. They even have a booster seat. I would say they are very accommodating.“
“This place has THE most authentic Vietnamese food around. They serve the typical Pho, rice and vermicelli. But we come for their specialty hot pot and vinegar beef. Usually we order it as a combo, Bo 7 Mon (beef 7 ways). It starts with raw beef in a vinegar hot pot. They serve it with an abundance of veggies, herbs, and rice paper which you roll DIY and option of two special dips. Then comes their outstanding beef salad with cucumbers, carrots, onions and shrimp crackers. Next they bring out a trio of bbq'd beef (beef wrapped in vine leaves, marinaded beef and beef meatball). Lastly they bring out the classic Vietnamese shaken beef dish and a subtle beef congee. We were stuffed. Amazing meal for two. They also have some of the most amazing chicken wings as well but we had no room for it. Next time!“
“Check out @bredgyeats for more delicious food pics!Bun Cha Ca - The fried dill fish cakes are the star of the show in this one. A savory, oily fragrance paired with the bounciness of the fish paste, with the freshness of the dill alone makes the dish worth it.The pho is also no slouch either as the broth perfumes with a beefy aroma and a classic rice noodle texture.“
“i really like this place, the employees are super nice and always come in to check in especially with tea, and even the owner of this restaurant gave us freebies in an event! sending kind and love towards this restaurant, and i really like the food here, it hits “
“I saw a tiktok of this restaurant and definitely had to check it out myself,The shop itself sells plenty of dried Viet goods that you rarely find elsewhere. There is a selective menu but Thuy Restaurant is known for their Bun Cha Ca, it was so homey and warming, it was so good!!Also got their shrimp fried rice, and fresh sugar cane juice. We were served and waited on by Thuy herself, she is so sweet and truly humble about her foodCan't wait to try the rest of the menuParking: The restaurant is part of a huge plaza that offers plenty of free parking“
“Delicious! Loved it! The last time I visited Toronto, I went to over half a dozen viet restaurants that had sub par service and food. Visiting Toronto again and tried out this restaurant. Food was yummy. Server was sweet. Will be back! Thanks!“
“My favourite pho restaurant, the rare beef noodle soup is the best I ever had. The owner is incredibly nice and the place looks amazing. The broken rice with grilled pork chop, grilled chicken and fried egg was also delicious. It makes perfect sense why they have so many 5 star reviews. Highly recommend and worth the drive from Mississauga. Thank you again.“
