“My mother and I went for lunch today for the first time at Rangoli Indian Restaurant, (where the Bridgewood used to be). The food was absolutely phenomenal. I have eaten at a lot of Indian restaurants over the years and this one is in my top 3. I started with the samosas as an appetizer and I would go back JUST for those alone! They were probably the best samosas I've ever had. They were fried to perfection, super crispy and pipingly hot but not greasy at all. The filling was perfectly spiced to be slightly spicy but not overpoweringly so. For my main meal I went with the korma chicken with a side of plain rice and 2 naans, one each of the butter and the garlic. Let's start with the naans. SO good! They were so well cooked. The butter naan had the perfect ratio of butter and wasnt greasy or dripping with it. The garlic naan was so good and it had a ton of garlic on the naan itself which I dont usually see (which is awesome cause there is no such thing as too much garlic lol!) They were crispy while also being soft and just over all the perfect addition to my meal. The rice was..... well rice lol. It was well cooked and they made it look pretty with a little garnish. Now. The chicken korma was probably the best authentic korma I've ever had. I ordered it medium spicy. It was delicious with a good kick of spice at the end of each bite. I loved that it was well spiced and wasn't dumbed down for the average Canadian palate. You could taste that the korma sauce had been handmade with authentic spices. It's definitely not something you would get at just any old restaurant. The staff were attentive and wonderful to talk to, while also being respectful and keeping their distance when needed. The perfect balance. Basically it was amazing and so so delicious and if you enjoy Indian food at ALL, you NEED to try Rangoli at least once! Absolutely recommend, 5 stars, please visit and tell your friends!”

“I went here to pick up a pizza order for Uber eats and there was a snow storm. One of the staff members was extremely kind and offered me a slice of pizza and a drink for free. When I insisted on paying they just didn't take my money. And they also told me that they had offered 10 of the delivery drivers picking up the food pizzas and drinks. When people are so kind It will obviously reflect in the food they serve. Even talking about the slice of the cheese pizza, it was just very delicious. Please visit the store and support these guys.”

“Stopped in today to check out the vinyl selection, and decided to grab some food - and really glad we did. It was excellent. One of the best meals we've had in town. We left with 4 albums, a toy for my son, and full stomachs. Where else can you buy comics, records, sit down with a board game, grab a meal and a pint?!?! 5 stars all day.”

The server also said its a fave of hers so we ordered it. OMG! I think it may be the best I've ever had! Baked in their wood oven, it was just what the doctor ordered! “Tonight we celebrated my husband's 60th birthday at this amazing little goldmine of a restaurant. The atmosphere is super cozy, the owners are very down to earth, prices are phenomenal for the superior freshness and quality of cuisine that you are offered, and the all around experience was quite exceptional. “Wanted to give a huge shoutout to everyone at Georgetown Thai. I have been wanting GOOD thai food for a while now, and have been craving…. A curry and rice dish- and man did they deliver! The yellow curry was silky and spicy and so yummy. They’re food is so fresh, and reasonably priced. We had leftovers too, for today. And the hostesses + servers were so kind. The chicken Satay was AMAZING. It was cooked perfectly and was so tender. And the mango ice cream didnt taste like fake mango. And the thai puff was so light despite being filled with potatoes! I’m just a bit… blown away by everything lol. It doesn’t happen often, and I wanted to let everyone know! Definitely check them out if you haven’t yet! We will definitely be going again. “Today I am celebrating a “special” birthday. We forgot to order the day before New Year’s Eve to ensure we could get an early pick up time, which was totally my fault.. birthday girl mistake.. so when we went in to place our preorder just after they opened at 2 pm we’re saddened to learn pickup options were for 8 pm or later. We agreed that was ok as it was my mistake and that I should have known better as this has been our tradition for my birthday for many years. I chuckled and showed them my special birthday tshirt. Lee who was at the counter then made a way to get us an early pickup!! After a photo was taken of me in my special birthday shirt we were on our way totally blown away by this unexpected kindness! The food was hot and ready and the order perfect when my husband and daughter picked up. Thank you Lee and team at House of Buddha for an exemplary act of customer service on a girls birthday which also happens to be one of there busiest days of the year!!”

Coffee is free when you order any dessert. “Went for lunch to celebrate a friend’s birthday. We were there right on opening and one of the staff was still vacuuming. We didn’t mind, he was done before our order was served.The food were great and tasty. We had the AYCE which was at a reasonable price. Staff were friendly. Service was fast and efficient, our tea was always topped up without us asking. It started to become busy as we left an hour and a half later. Will definitely be back.”

“To be honest, my family are regulars at the Georgetown Location.We do ask to sit in Rebecca or Heather's section. They are always friendly, talk to the kids, and know what our drink orders are going to be.Not once have we had a bad experience here. If we go to other locations, we always compare that one to Georgetown... and by far best servers, consistent food and don't forget about the friendley hostesses and Manager.Always a 5 star. If you don't believe me, stop by and see for yourself!”
