I just wanted to try the "Captains," and it was pretty good. A quaint little place with interesting adornments on the walls! The owner was a funny guy and chats you up great. The fish was done very well, but the fries could have been cooked a little longer for my taste. The only bad thing I can say is that his place is beside a flooring company and it smells of glue or solvents. After a while, you go "nose blind" to it. You have to try this place!
The absolute best fish and chips in town. And the owner is so lovely and remembers all her customers, a real family restaurant. And they have gluten free fish and chips, which is not easy to find.
