“So so pleased with this place and the fact that it’s minutes away from me. Where do I start… the family restaurant feel had me from the beginning. Mother and son duo making some amazing sandwiches. It was my first time an definitely not the last. I’m not usually a fan of tomato sauce but my god this sauce I could eat all day. I didn’t catch their names but thank you!!! “The good: Marissa provided top notch service from start to finish. The food was reasonably good, especially Nonna’s meatballs and the calamari.The bad: The smell of air freshener was so strong it was very hard to enjoy our food, and if we weren’t with another couple we would have left. Marissa told us that the air freshener in the washroom had recently been changed and the smell was from that. We were able to move one table further away from the washroom, but the smell was still overwhelming. I’d suggest removing the air freshener in the washrooms altogether. No room needs that much scent and in a restaurant, you want to be able to smell, taste and enjoy your food.“
“Comparable pricing to other restaurants in Guelph, when it used to be considered expensive.The food was nice. We had a few starters. I ordered the pork and my partner ordered the daily fish feature, which was halibut. Flavourful and nice presentation.Service was prompt and attentive. We've been served by the same gentleman at their other location, and he was professional and pleasant, as always.Decor and atmosphere was also nice, if slightly too bright. That might just be me, though -- and I also realize it's an open kitchen and bar, so it's likely for the staff to be able to get through service safely.Thank you! “Very elegant restaurant and spectacular service. I went to lunch with a client, and the restaurant experience did not disappoint. We had the Calamari Arrabbiata as an appetizer, and it was by far one of the best Calamari dishes I have ever had. Then we ordered a Margherita Pizza, and I added the hot honey drizzle, and it was amazing. My client had the pepperoni and mushrooms, and it too was delicious. They definitely don't hold back on the toppings. Pizzas were perfectly cooked and had great crust on them. I definitely will be back to try the rest of the menu.“

“We went on family day, for a birthday dinner. It was crazy busy, and our party of 6 was seated by the hostess at a booth, was very snug for 6 adults. As our party of 6 trickeled in and said the name of the reservation, the host just said "ya there here, just wonder around and find them"??? On an average day this would probably be fine, but on a very busy family day, it cause everyone to wonder around looking for us, not convient or efficient. The waitress who's name I forgot (sorry), was an awesome server and was on her game, making sure no one asked for a refill as she was very observant of the table, and did a great job bringing out the 2 cakes that we brought with candles. The food was OK, like everywhere it seems the portions where small but the prices still the same... all in all we had a good time“
“Food was excellent, and so was service! I had the GF margherita pizza, my husband had a build your own pizza, and our son got the carbonara pasta. Everything arrived quickly and was very flavourful. Wood fired pizza is supposed to have a thin crust, and it was cooked perfectly. The the gluten free crust was one of the best I've had. Our son also had an order of dough bites and loved them.
