My wife and I were there for the first time last night. My wife is celiac so she wanted to try the gluten free fish and chips and I had the regular batter. We both thought the food was excellent. From the atmosphere, to the service, to the food and the extensive selection of spirits and beers (extra points for frosty cold mugs) it was a great experience from start to finish. This is mine and my family's favourite spot for fish and chips. The menu is great and the food is excellent. I tried the gluten free fish and chips of a family member (huge bonus that they have these options) and it was amazing as well. The place is welcoming and the owner is friendly and usually available. I highly recommend Food Box.

I went there with my family. Fish and chips was really tasty, They had paper for children to draw at the table. Family friendly, fries were delicious. The music was nice, quiet not too loud. Restaurant had a nice atmosphere.Kid-friendliness: Our child was really happy, she had lots of fun drawing with crayons.
