#1 first time. Fish batter and fries were soaked soggy hell.#2 Second chance. Thought id try one more time. HORRIBLE We got the special and the fish was sliced so thin you couldn't taste it in the badder.Fries AGAIN were the consistency of wet cardboard.Call me stupid for giving a 3rd chance. We tried this Fish & Chip restaurant on 02/23/2024 about 6:30 P.M. was greeted when entering by a friendly waitress/server. Was asked politely, if we were taking out or dining in, we told the lady we intended to dine in. The restaurant was fairly busy with patrons, we were asked immediately if we wanted something to drink. Mom and I love Halibut House Ancaster. Quiet and extremely friendly environment. Delicious food, no matter if it is fish or souvlaki! We always leave satisfied. Staff is so welcoming and make you want to come back all the time :) ❤️Thank you Halibut House!!!
