“Visited for Father’s Day brunch, still thinking about how incredible it was. ❤️ Had the Tostadas Rancheros, it was amazing. Husband had the Hungry Pug, which has a little of everything. Daughter had the Hippy Toast which I couldn’t help sampling, can’t wait to go back…”
“Late lunch at this cozy restaurant. The most pleasant server ... in ages. Food like my mom made... delicious... yes, it was just soup of the day and a grilled cheese... but it just so hit the spot... 10 thumbs up. And ohhh... reasonable prices.”
“Had a Wagyu Burger & Beef/Barley Soup.?Both were Very Well made. But the burger patty was tiny (OK, so I usually order Double Bacon Cheddar Uncle’s at A&W - is That a Crime?)Anyhow, given that it was Wagyu, a larger patty would had to have been $25, instead of the $10 I paid. ?????So, I should just be Thankful it was TASTY!?Thank God The Beef Barley soup was awesome!GREAT service (Thx Jolena!) ??? and a casual Good Atmosphere. Also a good place to pick up a Kenora Thistles Stanley Cup Champs commemorative hoodie, or 2???Bob, the owner, Loves Food and LOVES his Customers! ?????Looking forward to surveying the rest of the menu.Keep Lookin’ UP! ?Happy New Year! ?”
“If you are visiting Kenora, the M.S. Kenora is a "must do" while you are there. Kenora is a beautiful town with picturesque scenery and many things to see and do. The M.S. Kenora is at the top of my list!My wife and I went on the 2 hour Sunday Brunch cruise. We've been for a trip on the M.S. Kenora every September for the past three years to celebrate our anniversary - this was our 42nd anniversary and we will be back next year!Food was great, reasonably priced, and our server was priceless - checked on us constantly and always smiling. Couldn't ask for more! While the ship is moving around the Lake of the Woods, there is a running commentary of the various cabins/cottages/mansions dotted around the lake, who built them, when, etc. Great if you are a history buff. If you are not, just enjoy the scenery, lots to see and enjoy.A defininate must do if you are in the Kenora area!”
“Great food and great service.. we had a variety of starters and sushi plates..all of it totally worth the spend. Feedback given on the ripeness of the avocado was instantly taken into account and rectified in the next order. Would definitely go back for more.”
“Truly a hidden gem in Kenora. Staff are especially attentive to persons with allergies. In our case shellfish and gluten. The souvlaki and lamb ribs were the best Ive ever tasted. Fresh herbs and perfectly cooked. The he decor takes you to Greece. Excellent value for a really good meal.”
“We have just relocated to Kenora. 901 was recommended by a co-worker. So happy we went here. Everything was amazing. We have found our new date nite place. We would recommend 901 to anyone. Also thanks for trying to help us look for permanent lodging. Mary and Michael.”
“One of the best Greek restaurants in town definitely gives taste of the Danforth in Toronto a run for its money atmosphere/food reminds ya of authentic Greek food”
“Probably the best location I’ve been to in Canada thus far, visited a few times now while camping and everything has been freshly made to order. I hope they’re getting enough business cause they deserve it!”
“Friendly staff, good food, fun atmosphere. It was really busy for a week night and the staff did great even though they were short staffed. Patio was full and it's fun cause you can bring your dog!Update - Easter weekend, they made the kids a bunny shaped pizza!”
“My most favourite Chinese food, love the portion sizes, my favourite dish is the Yetca mein soup, or wonton soup (big wontons) actually scratch that! Everything on the menu is delicious”
“We ordered from Little Caesar’s yesterday. Tried to have it delivered but due to Covid, we think, Door Dash was unavailable. No biggy. Ordered in afternoon for 5 pm pickup and got a bit of discount as no delivery service. The young man on the phone was quite helpful when I said Door Dash was unavailable. He looked it up for me on his phone and saw that they were not available. He took our order and said it would be ready for 5. And it was. Fresh and hot out of the oven when picked up. Will order from there again.”
“Great food, Big portions, and best Chinese restaurant in kenora I love eating here the chicken fried rice and and steamed vegetables, the chicken balls are delicious can't be beat. The woman who owns it so kind!!! it is sure yummy yummy!!”
“Wonderful little taco place in Kenora. this was my second visit and I loved it once again that ill be back a third. They always seem to have something new every time I'm there.”
“My wife and I went out to the cottage for a nice break this last weekend. We were planning to go into Kenora for dinner, and most of the restaurants were closed for Good Friday. Thankfully Kurry was open. Now, they recently moved in and renovated a space within the seemingly doomed Kenricia hotel. It is very nice, but only once you actually get into the restaurant. There was a young lady working the front desk, and no one else inside. We ordered the Samosa Chaat (that is a a samosa smashed on a platter), a spinach paneer (that’s cheese) dish, and a version of Ghobi (fried cauliflower). The food is AMAZING. I personally love Indian cuisine and have tried most of the highest rated across this country while travelling for work. This one is a gooder! If you’re looking for great food with unique flavours while in K-town, consider dropping by to Kurry. We will be back!”
