“The food was decent. The atmosphere is cold and could use some love… a picture on the wall or some candles? The waiter seated us in the back corner at the worst possible table even though the restaurant was not busy and we had made reservations days in advance. Also extremely disappointing that they have no gluten free pasta dishes or pizza. Probably wouldn’t bother going back for that reason as there are very few options for me.“

The pasta was good although my wife enjoyed her chicken a little more than I enjoyed the veal.Prices were reasonable although bottles of wine were a bit more then I would have liked.Service was very good. I'm sure we will be back.“
“Came in for a quick bite to eat on Saturday. We sat at the bar. Our server was obviously new as he lied to us about what exactly was on the menu. Said the seafood pasta had a kick to it - it did not. He said the soup wasn’t chunky - it was. We also ordered a negroni which we watched him make and to my surprise it tasted nothing like a negroni & came with a dried orange wheel?.. Besides the service our food was amazing and the ambiance is great for date nights. None the less I’ll be back - hopefully sitting in the dining room with an actual negroni (for that price) and a server who just simply asks for assistance instead of lying.“
“Went for dinner with a group of 7. The host was incredibly accommodating as we needed to increase our numbers. Our waiter was amazing (sad I did not get his name). He made excellent recommendations and took our orders without writing anything down. Food was delicious. Added bonus that Thursdays are half price bottles of wine. We will be back for sure.“
“This is not a traditional Greek restaurant, but more a family style restaurant with some Greek, some Italian, and some American foods. There were not many gluten-free and dairy-free options we could choose from. Nevertheless, the food we had was tasty and proportions were generous. I had the chicken souvlaki platter, and my dining partner had the gyro platter. My chicken (2 skewers) was flavourful and tender, and came with two Greek style potatoes, rice, and a good portion of salad. I couldn’t finish it all. While ordering, we had a question about food ingredients, and the server brought someone to our table to discuss our concerns and offer alternatives. Service was prompt and attentive, and there were endless coffee refills offered. The restaurant was clean and comfortable. I would eat there again.“
“Pizza Proscuitto is so delicious!! It's so hard to find good pizza in Kitchener. We bought their "Aloha" pizza and weren't disappointed. Their pizza is crispy, with delicious topping combinations and they're very generous. The only downside is that it's a little bit expensive. Would come back just to try their other gourmet pizzas!!“
“Can't rate on anything besides food as I've only ordered, but Ennio's seems to be the case of hit or miss depending on the day. My past couple experiences were great! Meatballs were nothing amazing, but pretty decent, Rustica was simple, but overall okay. Chicken was a little m e h. Annabella and the carbonara were great as well. But today was probably the worst experience. Gnocchi Con Gamberetti was extremely lemony. Overpowering all the other flavours, unfortunately. Was also missing the prosciutto in my dish, which just made me kinda sad haha. The Gnocchi itself would have been delicious had it not been for the overpowering lemon taste in the whole dish. Overall, more positive than negative here. But when it's an off day, it really stings to pay sometimes 30$ or more on a single dish that's just bordering on inedible due to flavour.“

“My parents and I went on Saturday night to celebrate my sons graduation from Firefighter College. It's a lovely little spot with lots of natural lighting and neutral decor. Our waitress was wonderful. We each had a drink - I tried the Lemoncello Spritz - delish... and a salad to start. Everyone else had a caeser salad, and I had the caprese salad. It was so fresh with great flavors. My Dad's main was the seafood linguine which he was over the moon about, and my son had the Carbonara, which he said was comparable to the ones he had in Italy! My Mom and I were both very excited to have the lemon butter pasta with seared scallops. The pasta was cooked to perfection, and the sauce was so flavourful, but to our disappointment, the scallops were very tough. Our waitress went and had fresh scallops done for us, which were better but still really hard on the outside. Maybe it was just that batch of scallops. They didn't taste bad, but they were tough to get through. Our waitress apologized and discounted our dinners. To our delight, they brought out a plate of congratulations dessert with chocolate cake and blueberry cheese cake for my son and 4 forks to share. Overall, it was a fabulous dinner at a great spot, and I highly recommend Casa Rugantino. Sometimes food quality is out of your control, but they handled it very professionally, and we appreciated it. We will be back!“
