“The food is great. The service is fast and friendly. The only thing I would say we did not like is the time restriction, you feel rushed to order and eat. I understand it's a smaller place and they want to keep the people moving but 90 minutes went by fast.“
“Yo's Sushi has won my heart with not just their exceptional sushi but also the incredible owners who are the best people I've ever met. As a sushi enthusiast who loves exploring new places, Yo's has undoubtedly claimed the top spot with their mouthwatering creations. What sets them apart is their attentive approach – they not only listen to your sushi preferences but go above and beyond by crafting special rolls upon request. If you're a sushi lover, Yo's Sushi is a must-visit for an unparalleled culinary experience.“
“Value Combo Meal fills up two people fairly well. Their Hawaiian chicken is a great choice for protein. The noodles definitely needs more sauce and the salad is meh. Overall it was very very tasty, as for the sides spring roll was a good bang for your buck, and the dumplings were cold.“
“In my opinion, this is the best sushi restaurant in the Waterloo region. ?Their rolls are the best, freshest and most generous-sized I've seen. I have been coming to this sushi restaurant for over 10 years and will continue. I love the salmon and crab rolls. There are plenty of appetizers for all. My wife is a vegetarian and she also comments that this sushi restaurant has the most veggie options available, compared to all KW region sushi spots.Thank you Nara Sushi for staying #1!Vegetarian options: My wife is a vegetarian and she also comments that this sushi restaurant has the most veggie options available, compared to all KW region sushi spots.Parking: The parking lot is a busy plaza, but there are lots of spots.“
“I go here semi regularly. It's really nice fresh sushi for pretty cheap. It's a tiny shop, but they're extremely accurate at predicting how long your order will take so you can go for a walk and come back. Even when they're really busy, I've never had to wait more than 20 minutes.“
“Absolutely had the best time here. The atmosphere is incredible and so fun. The service was unbelievably amazing. Our server Jocelyn was so kind, helpful and friendly. She made us feel so welcomed. And the food was delicious! I tried the Exclamation ramen and I was very impressed. I also couldn’t believe how great the noodles tasted. Very fresh and chewy. We will absolutely be back, I would strongly recommend this place to anyone!“
“Amazing matcha! If you're used to the Starbucks stuff, this may not be for you because this is proper strong. But that's how I like it :) staff was super friendly, sitting area is lovely, and the music was peaceful. Will be back!!!“
“If you’re looking for the best Japanese food in Waterloo, look no further. I’ve been going to Watami for a little over a year now, ever since my co-workers introduced me to it (and the pleasures of the wagyu beef). The service is impeccable and the food is excellent. It’s surprisingly affordable for the quality of food we get (especially if you stay away from the chalkboard and their “special items”).Parking: Park in either the paid garage next to Waterloo Square or one of the free lots that surround Uptown Waterloo. Very limited street parking in the vicinity.“
“The food was ok wasn't amazing but wasn't bad either ....a bit pricy for what you get but the bowls weren't any more expensive then any other poke bowl type place ...I asked for it to be spicy but the sauce wasn't at all I added some hot sauce when I got “
“First time trying this place tonight and wow the food is incredible! The staff were so friendly, I loved joking around with them and chatting as I waited for my order. Absolutely recommend this place and I will be back! Didn’t have time to take photos of my party tray, we ate it so quickly “
