“I was at an event catered by the Angle Iron Kitchen and everything that was served was excellent! So when I drove through Lakefield today, I made sure to stop in for some more delicious food. I grabbed a pulled pork sandwich and it did not disappoint. The flavour of the meat and sauce was excellent. If you are passing through and need a quick bite, definitely pop in.”

“We visited one evening for drinks and the following morning for breakfast. Our evening server, Sarah, was full of information and happy to be challenged to make a cocktail that was new to her. Our breakfasts were great too and the stand out was the bacon which was more thickly sliced that retail bacon and certainly more tasty.”

“The Lakefield Subway is usually my first option for a to go lunch, during work. The sub masters behind the counter are always really kind and I’ve seen them take a lot from customers. I get the same sub every time and it’s always delicious. The cookies are soft and my favourite part of my meal, besides the friendly workers. Love this Subway.Kid-friendliness: The atmosphere is a good spot to take children. Lots of seating and I think they have booster seats (could be wrong, I’ll check next time I go). Lots of extra napkins available and the washroom is accommodating.”

“I normally go through the drive thru and I feel rushed at the speaker box making my order, but find at times I can be waiting on them to even open the window for me to scan & tap before getting my order. The last time I was there I went into the ladies bathroom and wasn’t happy with it looking like someone used the floor as a toilet, but to find out after the toilet seal on the bottom wasn’t working so it was a leak on the floor.”

“The shrimp fresh rolls were the best I’ve ever had! Fresh, lots of mint and plenty of carrot made them so sweet! We had the garlic noodles with chicken ( I added veggies - mushrooms and bok choy) and the house broken rice meal and both were great!
