The food at Tandori-eh taste really good. The flavour is excellent but it’s almost twice as much as in my town for a comparable place. Maybe the have high rents not sure but food took a while and it was delicious but I just thought it cost too much to be a regular place. These days the good stuff costs a lot.
Food was platable but lacked taste and quality. Could clearly tell that the restaurant is cutting corners and serving sub-standard food. Decided to play safe and ordered the Paneer Tikka Masala. The paneer turned out to be stale and hard. The curry was just a spicy tomato puree sauted with some (staring at me blankly not sure if it belongs to the curry) pieces of paneer. Got the chicken biryani. Somewhat small takeout container for 12 bucks plus tax. Couple who runs the store is nice but the biryani is mediocre. Rice is low quality and overcooked.The flavour profile reminds me so much of the Shan brand biryani spice packet that you get from the grocery store that I'd be incredulous to learn if it wasn't made from it.
