Used to have messy fries for 10$, but of course a delicious restaurant has to ruin its reputation by replacing the cheaper option with a more expensive option. Only messy fry options are now 15 and 18$. NEVER GET RID OF AN OPTION AND REPLACE IT WITH SOMETHING MORE EXPENSIVE.

I tried medium jerk chicken wrap at Tahini’s Richmond location and loved it! The chicken was tasty, the bread was soft, and you could pick your own sauces and toppings. The place felt nice, and the people working there were friendly. If you like shawarma, definitely give it a shot!Vegetarian options: They have falafel and saladParking: Behind the store, there is parking but it’s paid. But you can also park on the street if you are lucky enough to have empty spot.
I recently went to Tahinis , Downtown store on February 13th, 2024 at around 9.25pm . Am a student, so asked my student discount which every other Tahini stores offered me before, even the same store gave me that before.But today they denied saying “Fanshawe Students don’t get discounts” and the lady who took my order asked my student ID two times and showed I showed it to her as well. She took it inside to show to her colleague and I have seen them showing gestures as to not give the discount. And then I was denied my discount and was treated very rudely. When I asked about why I can’t get the discount they said the POS doesn’t give fanshawe students discount and I felt it very lame. I really feel disgusted and annoyed with such a service they gave me and I would definitely require Tahini’s immediate attention on this .I called the Tahini customer service on the same time but none answered. I suggest Tahinis to not just fill up positions with any associates rather have someone who knows what customer service means .I have my receipt of the transaction and the details of the staff who dealt with me .

Disgusting service.Bathroom completely out of service. Doesn’t lock properly no toilet paper. No sign on the door stating “it just happened we were busy up until then” as I’m witness 3 people standing around not doing anythingIt just happened? Both the toilet paper? And the door that doesn’t lock?Confronted them about this. No apologies. Nothing but rude. Called me a “Karen”

Went in late friday night. The lady didnt specify the the gyros are beef. I assumed it was the chicken gyro. The staff did not even apologize and did not change my order.

Updated from an old 5 star rating.This used to be a great restaurant when it was known under a different name. Its since just fallen apart as they continually try and update/fusion, whatever it is.Each visit the serving sizes will be drastically different, a little chicken and rice used to come with a good cup of chicken on top of rice. Now you get a couple of tablespoons of chicken at best and 2-2.5 cups of rice.You used to get fair sized schwarma for $5, now you get half the serving size, and twice the price. Depending on who is serving you may drastically effect what you are served.Low quality.Save your money and future disappoint and order somewhere else.
