Nice little place, food was decent, staff was fantastic. Though I must say, a bagel and egg sandwich, a panini sandwich with no sides plus two coffees came to $54 before tip. Should have left when I saw the prices on the menu.

This used to be my go-to brunch spot, but the charm of this cute and cozy space isn't enough to bring me back anymore. Sadly, the food is way overpriced now.I understand costs have gone up, but Bag Lady's prices are exceptionally high for basic food AND they shrunk portions. I've been ordering the mojo for years and always had leftovers. On my most recent visit, the mojo was 50% smaller for $22.My friend got the rolo special and their "fresh baked" croissant seemed like a frozen Pillsbury one. This basic breakfast will cost you $20. Don't even bother with the pitiful overpriced fruit bowl. I get more fruit from Mustangs Desserts as a free side than you do here. It's that extreme.Seating space is limited, and we felt very rushed by our server so they could get us done and gone. Once we got our food, they never checked in or offered us refills. For the experience, it's worth visiting once in your life, but their food isn't anything special. I'm on the hunt for a new brunch place.

I was a little let down with my last visit. I used to have good memories of this place but I was a little underwhelmed with the food for how much it costs and overwhelmed with how crowded it was. It's turned into a hipster photo op place. London has way too many people now so this place was full, and I didn't mind waiting, don't get me wrong. But the prices are too high for what the food is. I got the breakfast poutine which by itself without the add ons is pretty bare boned for $21. So i added an egg and bacon for an additional cost and asked for my egg sunny side up but I got it over easy, which again wasn't a huge deal and the server was nice about it. But after she spoke to the cook he insisted it was sunny side up, when it was literally sitting right in front of me, cooked over easy. I'm no chef but it's not hard to make a sunny side up egg or at least own up to making the wrong efg. I just thought it was inappropriate to come back to the table to let us know what the cook said. Sounds like someone who can't admit to a mistake, so that was just weird. My egg was comped, but the bill didn't make sense. We were charged for HST twice, 13% and 5%. We were also charged a food tax? That was weird, it's my first time ever seeing that and I thought only packaged food gets taxed HST, which we did not get. So 3 different tax charges plus a tip. Just kinda disappointed cause the place itself is cute and I used to have really good memories of it.
Great little place with a lot of character and good food!

Very cute small and cozy atmosphere! Staff were so friendly :) You might have to wait a bit for a table since there’s only about 6 ish.Tried the cinnamon roll French toast - it was good but tasted mostly like normal French toast. It was $20 - quite pricey for what it is unfortunately. Partner got a panini, it was good, $19, but didn’t come with any homefries or anything which we would have really liked. Regular sized portions. Spent $51 in total for the two dishes, just got waters because all beverages including tea are $3.50+. I wouldn’t go back simply because of the price for a French toast and panini - and once again I would’ve loved included side dishes like home fries or some protein. The panini also came with only one piece of bacon in it. Side home fries costed $9 so we didn’t pay any extra for that. But, if you’re looking for a cozy vintage spot with great service and don’t mind spending $30 for a coffee and meal, then I’d recommend! There’s some street parking around. Two steps to get inside so not wheelchair accessible.I’d give it a 3.5/5

Was lucky to be invited to this hidden gem for my birthday. Was tasty and fun. The staff was very enthusiastic and passionate about the food they serve. Very lovely attention to detail. Everything was fresh and beautiful and tasty x10.Dietary restrictions: Great gluten free and vegetarian options
London does not spoil me with a variety of cozy and cool places, I experience a certain lack of visiting quality places that leave a "wow" impression. And here at last I found such a cafe! Every millimeter of the walls is imbued with coziness, the atmosphere is family friendly and the energy hovering in this space is very soft, and the staff is warm-hearted. I literally had an orgasm from the aesthetics, the amount of details, the presentation and taste of the dishes! Everything is top notch, tasteful, detailed, just the way I like it. As an aesthete with a capital letter? and a finely sensitive person - it is very important to me that the space in which I am (and especially eating) to dispose to receive positive emotions and was filling. As a person with high demands for pleasure I declare that I was satisfied with a million percent and recommend everyone to visit this place.
