Exceptional dining experience at The River Room! The ambiance was delightful, and the food was exquisite. What truly set this restaurant apart was the extraordinary service provided by Daria who ensured every detail was perfect. A definite must-visit for anyone seeking a memorable culinary adventure.

Just looking this up for an upcoming reservation and see it’s only got 4.6*… this is not indicative of the quality of the restaurant at all. The food, service and atmosphere are all amazing, every time I eat here. My first time was in 1998, and I’ve been many, many times since. I live in Waterloo and I wish we had a restaurant like this. What a view! (And it’s relatively affordable, especially the brunch) Londoners are lucky to have this place!

Our lunch for late Valentine's Day celebration was extraordinary. We had a window seat. Service was excellent from the moment we walked in. Sean took our coats. Katherine was attentive. Food was excellent in terms of presentation and amount and flavour and temperature and special touches. Would definitely recommend dining at The River Room.

Food concept was lacking - calamari was over breaded, hen was dry, stew didn't have enough stew for the amount of noodles, passion fruit budino was bland and sat for at least a day. Sad. Waitress was pleasant. To get in we had to climb a lot of stairs which was difficult for my disabled mother. When I remarked to the smoking employee outside that the restaurant was not AODA - he said that it didn't have to be and that o should have read that on the website. 2 buckets of nicotine stained buckets of water awaited us at at the door. Disappointing to say the least.

If there were six stars, I would give the entire staff at the River Room just that. We had our wedding reception at the River Room and our experience was perfect. Sean and his staff went above and beyond to give us everything and more that we needed and wanted. The food was delicious earning raves from our guests. The room with its view of the Thames is elegant and bright. We were given a day to remember. Sheer perfection.

We had a lovely lunch at the River Room. The food was excellent and so was the service. It was also nice to enjoy the Londonlicious menu which gave great value for the price. Our only problem was the downtown parking.

We enjoyed our experience. The food was very good, the shrimp pasta dish really excellent. Our server was attentive and knowledgeable about the dishes on the menu and the wine. Loved the quiet and calm atmosphere.

We went to Londonlicious at The River River specifically because it has a vegan option for all three courses - most of the Londonlicious menus either don't have any vegan options, or don't have options for all three courses. The minestrone soup was amazing - quite spicy, which I like, and very flavourful! We all got the vegan ravioli, which was a great portion, and huge ravioli, which was excellent. All four of us agreed it was a bit bland, though...could have used some more seasoning, maybe. Our server brought us some salt, and that helped a bit. The raspberry tart was incredible! Just perfect. Our server Kathleen was attentive and helpful, and we had a lovely time.

Had a lovely experience, my first time visiting the River Room. My boyfriend and I had a quiet date night here, beautiful ambience at a table looking out onto the river. We had the Londonlicious menu and the food was great. Our server Holly was excellent too. A great place to visit if you are looking for a quiet / upscale dinner out, especially a romantic date

Everything was quite lovely at The River Room. My one and only critique is that the portion size was a bit on the small side. Although that seems to be the case with nose nicer restaurants.

Great food, great atmosphere. They have very focused menu while still offering plenty of options for vegetarians or anyone with gluten allergies. The service was very good, we happened to show up on a day where we were seated by the windows and it was very pleasant and nice. The food of course was amazing. I had the Salmon and it was done perfectly (crispy skin / not over cooked).

This Sunday Brunch is exceptional, both in terms of quality, presentation and value. As a drink is included it sets up the lunch meal well. All of the food was tasty, and plentiful. The server was so helpful and kept a close watch on things like coffee refills, and so forth. Highly recommended...and the view on a sunny day was lovely.
