“It's a drive-through location, but the staff is courteous and amazing ?. She served us professionally and with a smile. I recommend you stop by this location.”

“It is in a En Route station which has bathrooms , gas, a little store and other food choices like Tim Horton . Convenient as it is off highway when you come from the Thousand Island bridge heading for Montreal.”
“No problem at all with the speed of service.(Was there during supper rush) Sub got made within 5 minutes and I was out the door. Line behind me was moving fairly quick and didn’t have to wait to order. Sub was very delicious. Don’t let some of these reviews fool ”
“Was very sceptical because of the ratings, but was pleasantly surprised. Very helpful, generous and friendly staff. Normal food for a Tim’s. Wait time was average. They forgot to order our coffee, though.”
“Wow! Cathy’s is a gem! They are slammed during the Summer months and open year around. The Jalapeño Bacon quiche was delicious. The creaminess of the eggs, chopped jalapeños throughout, pieces of bacon and the crust is just crispy enough to be a delight. Combined with a iced caramel macchiato made this breakfast something to come back for. The menu is limited right now during the winter, but between the muffins, danishes and daily breakfast specials, come early before they are sold out.”
“JRECKS has delicious subs. They are not the biggest subs around, but the flavors are on spot. We have tried several locations and they are consistent. But our favorite is the Alex Bay location. The sub of choice is the Cheeseburger Sub, but tell them to add the toppings you want. We like adding the pepper relish and julienned pickle with lettuce and tomato here. The sub can be a little messy as the bread is not toasted but it is worth every bite. Get your napkins and enjoy the flavors of this food. Grab a drink and their sides for a great meal. #jrecksubs #sub #alexbay #thousandislandsParking: Off season free street parking. Meters during the Summer and Fall. You can park around the corner and it is a great walk around town”
“Food was okay, portions were not small but not a lot. The price was crazy, 75 bucks for two bacon cheese burgers and a large poutine. Thought it was way too expensive for the quality and portion amount.”
“We were happy to find Cavallario's open on October 4th at 8 p.m., since so many other places had already closed for the season (we had no idea about "the season" before visiting 1,000 Islands area) or had closed very early evening. We ordered wine (decent selection), blue cheese stuffed filet, and the steak maison. They serve bread coated with a garlic butter topping, which, while it is a bit sloppy to cut and serve, was delicious! Our filets were tender, cooked to perfection (medium... 'raw' and cool in the middle) and were excellent cuts of meat. I highly recommend if you are in the area. They play excellent music to set up a nice romantic dining experience. The reason I am giving it a 4, is because of the lighting. It was incredibly bright and disturbed the ambiance, which was a real shortcoming of an otherwise excellent dinner.”
“Went there two nights in a row a few weeks ago and had a great time. Awesome bartenders, with a HUGE shoutout to Jen for helping us with some local plans we had for our weekend. She really made us feel at home. Jen - if you're reading this, thanks again, worked out great.A band played there on Saturday and the room sounded really good.Spent time chatting with other tourists and locals, everyone was super chill and friendly. I'll definitely go back if I'm in the area again.”
“We had some really terrific burgers. The local craft beer selection is awesome. Our server, Leeah was so nice, and very attentive and fast with our drinks and food. We definitely recommend this place to anyone and everyone!”
“Do not drive by, you'll be happy you stopped in. I had the fish and chips and it is now my new go to. My friend had the fish tacos and he said, "best I have ever had". Lovely view of the water and the staff were all friendly and welcoming.”
“Awesome restaurant, Food was very good although the Haddock had entirely too much thyme on it. Service was good although in my opinion the bread should have been served before the soups came out. I highly recommend this restaurant if you are in the area, Beautiful view of Boldt Castle as well at sunset.”
“We had great meals - shrimp basket & blue cheese burger & it was amazing. Courtney made fabulous cosmos & beer selection was great. Locals gave a hearty welcome to us out of towners. Carol runs a great operation! Don't pass this opportunity to enjoy some awesome food and great conversation.”
“Newer place, comfortable. Friendly staff. However no matter which Starbucks I go to my same latte tastes slightly different at each one. They were out of decaffeinated coffee beans again.”
“Best little bar with a long family history. It's a Georger family building dated back to the pouring of cement at construction still opporated by the Georger family. Always a great time!! The first New Years Eve ball drop in history in The Thousand Islands ever was held this year 2023 and will continue to hold them forever after by originator and idealist Kimberly Kadin.”
“Visited during late December, great food and service. The French bread pizza was amazing. My wife had the buffalo chicken salad and loved it. Elite quality food. Highly recommend.”
“We come to the Alex Bay area every year but this is our first time coming in. Loved it! How cool is this bar? Wish we had more time to stay and eat. Vibe was awesome ?”
“Restaurants and bars to discover when you visit the 1000 Islands area in Ontario.Good fast-food type meal with a good alcoholic drink on the terrace. The day of my visit, there were musicians who enhanced our customer experience.”
“The pizza was very good. It was a little pricey, and they did not take credit cards. Everything was self service. There is an ATM on site, but the service fee was not posted so I did not even attempt it”
“We’ve had the opportunity to have dinner here hiring the last couple of weeks & both time food was delicious, service was excellent & cocktails were wonderful. They have frozen cocktails that are like a delicious dessert!”
“We have been to the Korner several times over the Summer and now into the off season. We got this medium double pepperoni to go and it was good, but the pizza is not terribly consistent every time. Different chefs end up with slightly different results on the pizza. And to go is not quite as impressive as the dine-in orders. But gotta say this is still over favorite pizza and wing place around Alex Bay.”
“Five of us (my wife and son, and my wife’s sister and her wife) found this by trial and error, with many close-to-the dock restaurants closed until afternoon. We were greeted by Brittany, our server, who advised us of what was and was not available, including their wine slushies and most gluten free options. Nonetheless, they had fresh chips, salsa, and guacamole that was not contaminated by gluten (?), delicious pesto chicken flatbreads, and phenomenal chicken tenders (5-6 large 5-7” each) that are a meal on their own. Fantastic coconut lime martinis and various margaritas made by Brittany added to a greater than expected visit. Thank you!”
“We had the best meal at the Pointe and cannot wait to go back! While the restaurant is pretty unassuming, do not be fooled, it does not disappoint. The service was excellent with Dan going above and beyond by educating us on the area, offering to take a family photo overlooking the water (self portrait by Dan too), and even golf carting us to our car after the meal. The food could not have been better. We had the best onion rings and the juiciest, flavor-filled grilled chicken. We even enjoyed more than a dozen clean, juicy steamed clams. The Pointe is not to be overlooked!”
“Exciting to see a brewery that's whole base is leaning towards environmental responsibility.Middle of nowhere place maybe lends itself to off grid living.Good beer though, would go back to try more. Wood fired pizza was crispy delicious and hotter than the surface of the sun... Chili oil add on was pretty fantastic. Staff were very friendly. The icing on the cake if you can believe it we also got the hand soap and moisturizer along with some IPA bar soap.”
