“I wrote a Yelp review on this place 2 years ago but forgot to post on Google so here it is.Found this cozy, quaint resto near my gf's place. I followed google maps and pulled into what I thought was a random office/corporate building lot. I turned a corner and suddenly The Thandur's signage becomes visible.The parking lot is actually pretty big but not particularly busy. Seeing the small amount of traffic outside but then walking into the resto and being the only ones there (it was also peak/prime dinner time) I did not have high hopes initially.The resto inside is actually really small. Probably only like 4-5 tables total (w/ a couple of booths). There was one server manning the front of the house but my gf and I were kindly greeted and told to take a seat anywhere.I asked her a bunch of questions about the menu and she took her time explaining the items to us and the fusion take on things (I'd had kothu roti before but was wondering if there was any differences and what not). After taking our order, she told us the food would be out shortly.We got butter chicken pasta, beef kothu roti and a mango lassi to share. Restos like this are a reminder to never judge a book by it's cover. The place looked abandoned (this was post-covid waves btw) but the food was INCREDIBLE. The butter chicken pasta was sooo tasty. The chicken was tender, a lil charred, coated in DAT THICCC SAUCE. The pasta was al dente. Always had mixed feelings on fusion stuff but this pasta was actually so good. The beef kothu roti was super meaty, had a nice kick and came topped w/ a fried egg which was cool for the IG haha. Last but not least, the mango lassi was actually a proper one (proper salt and the yogurt was tart enough to cut through the spiciness of the roti). Does the mango lassi beat India's Taste mango lassi in markham? Nah haha. But it IS very good.Would not hesitate at all to come back to this place. The pricing was very honest. The portion sizes were big. The server was attentive and friendly. Most important of all, the food was excellent. That butter chicken pasta really is a must try.“

“Among the best North Indian Street food & lunch/dinner in East side. Gobhi Manchurian, Gol Gappas, Kulchas are absolutely mouth watering. All other preprations are awesome too. Food is freshly prepared so it can take a bit. Best to order in advance or wait for a bit but the wait is worthwhile. Quite reasonable and overall service is great.“
“Vegetarian review:I visited with my friend group on Friday night for the buffet.They have multiple options for veg and non veg both.There was wide range of starters, main course and dessert. Pani puri was a blast but dal makhani was okayish.The best of all was fruit custard and garlic naan.Rasmalai was super yummy.Would recommend to try buffet atleast once. It was a little expensive compared to other options in Toronto.“

“Came here 6:30pm today, we did make reservations but they are not busy when we arrive. Restaurant is 80% full at some point during our dinner.We used to order butter chicken everytime we go to Indian restaurant so we ask our server Nick to recommend something for us.Our server recommended some dishes we never try before so we ordered all of them.It turns out everything tasted great and nothing is too spicy for everyone in our group.Service is excellent, everyone at the restaurant dress well and very professional.Prices is a bit above average but I think is fair for the high quality service and great food.Lots of parking here so no problem at all.“
