“Came here for Valentine’s Day. We booked a month in advance and were only able to get a 8pm seating time. The atmosphere was great, they even gave me a rose. The table side Caesar salad is a must order. The first time I enjoy a salad like it was the main course! For the main, we order the 24oz dry aged porterhouse to share. There is an extra $10 sharing cost but it was well worth it. We ordered rare plus and it was cooked to perfection. My only complaint was the Creme brûlée, the top was not fully melted and it did not have crispy caramel top. The Creme was great but you can feel the sugar grains in your mouth. We told our server and he was kind enough to give us another but it had the same issue possibly because they use a coarser sugar.“
“First time at Blackhorn tonight. This is a 60+ yr old school establishment, but somehow always missed it. Been looking to fill the spot since Smith Brothers closed during covid.Had their lamb chops, chicken souvlaki, peppercorn steak, and rib eye special. Everything was cooked to temperature and delicious. Meals come with a side of fries or potatoes, veggies and salad or soup, great value overall.See them replacing both our Steakhouse and Greek food cravings. Sorry Danforth.We'll be back.“
“My favourite steak house. Love the food, customer service is excellent. Great drink menu as well. Casual not over stuffy. Great place for drinks and excellent food.I always forget to photo the food when it comes out. That’s why it’s half eaten. Steak with blue cheese. So damn good with roasted garlic.“
“Came here for my boyfriend's birthday and it was an amazing first time dining experience for him. Our server Ceasar was efficient, enthusiastic and attentive making sure all our needs were met. And his birthday song rendition ... EXCEPTIONAL!!!! Needless to say the food and all the supporting cast were amazing too! Will definitely be back soon.“
