The food is pretty authentic and delicious. However, the price is a bit high and the portion is a bit small given the price. It also took 20 minutes for 2 dishes to be served even though the restaurant was not full. That was quite slow.

The Sweet & Sour Lean Pork Rice Combo ($13.99 - 802 on the menu) was exceptional. The generous portion of meat was perfectly fried and seasoned, and the taste was spot on.I also tried the Soup Dumplings (901 and 902), and they were delicious, especially with the Buy One Get One For Free promotion.The service was excellent, with a very attentive and friendly waitress.Parking: A little difficult to find parking during lunch hours.

Always on Point !The Red is a family and friends favourite in the Markham area and we have been going there for many years. The decor is the same as it was for the past few years and it gives the place a familiar feeling when we visit. Although I have been here many times I have yet to give The Red a review. We mainly eat here for the spicy Sichuan dishes but the staff is great and if we have little ones or people who aren't into spice they always modify their dishes to accommodate...read full review
