This might be the only Italian restaurant I would go back to. Most Italian restaurants I dined at have been bland and basic, but this place is an exception.The man who served us was able to answer our questions about the menu. He paid attention to detail and checked in on us to make sure we had everything we needed. Amazing service. Michael’s Back Door never disappoints. The ambiance, food and service is amazing. We have held all of our smaller events here for the last 30 years and have always been completely beyond satisfied. It’s also our favourite dining spot. Michael is absolutely wonderful and accommodating and so was his wonderful father. Best Italian food in the GTA.

I was pleased with the staff. Our waiter was just awesome. The meal my wife had looked great and was-fantastic. Same with other meals that were served at the table. I ordered the gnocchi and was not impressed. I’m not going to go into detail but it was not enjoyable.If you wanna a have a real unforgettable plate of gnocchi check out pasqualino’s in Milton. Then tell me I’m wrongOverall I will return to mikes back door for another meal but it won’t be for a plate of pasta.
