“I just had a religious experience. I’ve been living in Ottawa for some time and I’ve had some good pizza down in Byward market and elsewhere, But the small Paloma pizza that I just ordered from this shop was the best pizza I’ve ever had in my life. Pizza is a bit of a weird thing to judge, because some people like a ton of toppings and lots of cheese, where other people are more authentic, crusted pizza with extraordinary ingredients. Normally, I like a pizza that weighs 17 pounds because of all the toppings and cheese. But I’ve just turned into a believer of extraordinary sauce, delicious cheese, and a drizzle of hot honey on a crust that is simply out of this world. Many years ago, I lived in Florence, Italy, and as soon as I took a bite out of this pizza, it was like that scene out of the Disney movie, Ratatouille, where the food critic is suddenly drawn back to his childhood, eating his mothers food. After taking a bite of this pizza, I was drawn back to 1993, sitting on the Ponte Vecchio in Florence, Italy, eating some of the best pizza on the planet and enjoying my youth.“

“A great place to have a meal or take out. Service and food are excellent. Very cosy place to eat in and the menu is extensive. We have tried quite a number of items on the menu, including several appetizers(calamari fritte, fried zucchini, spicy smelts), salads, pasta entrees and house specialties. Everything was fantastic! “I love the food here. Incredibly fast service at 5pm on a Saturday. Justine was our server and she was fantastic. She was very friendly, always there when we needed a refill or more bread. The owner is an incredibly kind man as well. He greeted us at the door with a big smile. After clarifying our servers name with him for this review he gave us a $10 food voucher for a free dessert. “The bad: I have tried their pizza and can not recommend it at all.The good, well many things really. The space is big, they can bring many more different items, but then it feels good to walk where you are not between people and isles! They have some Iranian items which are much appreciated. Good variety of tea and honey and olive oil. I have never bought meat from them but they look good and the place is clean.“

“Im probably very Bias as it comes to pizza pizza but it is honestly my favourite fast food pizza in Ontario.The pizza is thin with a lot of sauce and for me the right amount of cheese. I've grown up liking it when all my friends say it tastes like cardboard. The Creamy Garlic is also a must try dip there.For chicken wings they're probably some of the best ive had for a great price. They're full of meat and juicy.I will 100% be coming back when i have the cravings for pizza“
“Since last year I’ve heard of Willy’s pizza, I happened to come get my lashes done and Willy’s pizza was right next to it. I was starving so I say let me go in and get something light. I ordered the club sandwich with no fries. After 10min he said my order was ready. Looking at the box I’m thinking wow this must be a big sandwich ? “Ended up at Mort's by random choice of after-work pub with a friend. I was pleasantly surprised. If there was a 4.5-star option, that's what I would give it.A friend and I randomly chose to try out Mort's on a Tuesday. We had their 2-for-1 large pizzas with 4 beers. It came out to $40 each, so I'm not sure it was the best deal, but the pizzas were surprisingly good. Was it the best I've ever had? No. But much better than any other bar pizza I've had, hands down.The bartender / server was friendly and since the place only holds a couple dozen people the service was quick. It seems like a good business to support .. it's nice to see places like this that aren't just another chain or trying to be like every other Milestones, Barley Mow, etc.Would go back !Parking: Small parking lot beside Mort's, large parking lot at the next driveway leading behind the pub.“

“Ordered 2 medium pizzas tonight as a treat .1 cheese and bacon and 1 with pepperoni , bacon and ham . It used to be our favourite place in Barrhaven . We used to order fairly frequently and always loved it but haven’t been able to for quite a while .Tonight’s was very disappointing.The bacon was very different from the last time we had it, in fact it was terrible . “My family and I have been ordering here since I've been a teenager, almost as long as they have been open. I really do enjoy their pizza. The main reason my score isn't perfect is due to inconsistency in not just the product, but also the orders on occasion (which is the main reason I'm doing a google review for the first time). There are times you'll order from Merivale Pizza and you'll get exactly what you ask for and it will be cooked perfectly, and then there are some times you'll order where it seems like the pizza may have been in the oven for a minute or so too long.When the pizza is cooked perfectly it's great, hands down my preferred pizza place on Merivale. The problem is that for as long as I've ordered from here, it's never been 100% consistent with the quality of the pizza and over the very recent years, some of my orders have actually been mistakes (not many, but definitely more than a few), I'm doing this review because today I received another mistake (and yet I still wanted to give them at least 4 stars because I do love their pizza). They are good at resolving mistakes and in my experience, they have offered to send a completely new pizza to remedy a mistake, or offer credit towards my next order but it would be great if my orders were always guaranteed to be great quality and correct when I order them.TL;DR: The pizza is amazing, when it's cooked right. I'll always order here when I want something with good portion and good quality, but that quality isn't always guaranteed.“

It takes a while to receive your order if you ask for it fresh or order a full pizza which is usually when the food is good. Very convenient for students that study right next to this location.“
“I have ordered a few times for delivery from the Barrhaven location and the pizzas were always great. The other day I had some time to kill and decided to stop by in person for the first time. My daughter and I dined in and the pizza was amazing. We also had the pepper poppers which was delicious and crunchy. The person who helped us was very kind and friendly. We went with salt and pepper and garlic parmesan both very delicious.The pull apart bread was really good too. I was expecting it to be heavy but it wasn't. Quite enjoyable.The cinnabons missed the mark. You can barely taste the cinnamon. The icing appears to be made with powder sugar, there wasn't much flavour. Can't recommend.“

“Amazing restaurant with really great, fresh and tasty food. The decor was wonderful and Ahmed went out of his way to make sure my friends and I were given great service. They ran out of what we wanted and he ended up making it fresh and even accommodated requests at the last second and continuously checked in on us as the night went on. I had been wanting to go here since last year and I’m so happy it didn’t disappoint! 10/10“
